One of the better omens or signs, it is said, is to hear the chirping of birds outside one's window. Although a bit cliche, it was the case that glossy tangerine morning that the Cardinals, Larks, and possibly a thrush, or perhaps just a mischievous Mocking Jay, could be heard calling and chasing one another through the rough, bristly branches of the young Elms that lay about so lax in the morning grog; and it was a most beautiful sound to accompany fierce battling. That was much like the voices of the nursing staff here at the DWMA, the way people seemed to focus only on the tranquility to block out the reason they were there. And so the nurses were the birds' songs, and the training field were the Elms here.
Xuza walked in, making sure the bloodied Leo was close at hand. The thought she could do this to a madness user was beginning to resonate with her, and the other reality, that this was the second person she'd sent here in that week, was quite the ego fodder for the would-be fourth year weapon tech. She didn't want to jinx it, but that wasn't the only reason for Xuza half-wishing this situation away. Invariably she felt a little guilty, doing something like this. Sure the rest of the kids in the suite were there because of over-zealous sparring, but she would bet, if she had any money, that the same person hadn't sent more than one of them to the bedpan hotel.
Well... At least I'm getting better! Yeah, there ya go, Uriel.
"Well, here we are, finally. You can save yourself a lot of embarrassment if you tell the nurses up front that you're here for an injury and not illness--oh, and tell them you haven't been fighting witches, that ant-magic stuff is a nightmare when you aren't hexed..."
"Uh... Sorry. I'm sure you don't need a tour." Xuza couldn't help laughing at herself.

The chirping birds who sang in harmony would flutter racing after one and other creating a melody with which he would hum along while taking in the sights of the new year in the academy, the nurses office would appear packed as multiple students lay resting on there beds he took notice of there wounds and figured they shared his fate and received damage during training.
He would listen to her explanation on how to introduce his wounds to the nurses she ended her advice with a warm laugh, Leo enters the room he calmly makes his way over to one o the wall cabinets from there he would apply disinfectant and suture the wound close before wrapping a bandage around each exposed cut he was quick with his hands and soon finished patching his own wounds.
`` Xuza thank you for all of your help but i doubt the nurses would need waste there time on me `` Leo smiles happily as he pats Xuza on her back he then turns to leave the room his voice echoing as he spoke without facing Xuza `` Thanks again mon ami but right now there is someone i must see catch you later bud ``
Leo would disappear into the halls of the school and within moments he had left the building and was headed towards the city, he could feel it the faint scent of blood in the air he needed to see or himself if all was really alright in death city.

With Leo in good spirits and bandaged up, there was only an awkward little girl left standing in the middle of the Nurse's office. Of course, that just wouldn't do, so Xuza left in a flash, her face a bright pink flare on top of her body.

Weather: Sunny Smoke-light level: 195ppm Soul: Scrambled Mood: optimistic/clueless Company & Locale: Nurse's Office with Takeshi and Mina Soul Resonance: Off
In the hours approaching midday the animal residents of the DWMA seemed lifeless with silence. Xuza resolved on the way over to the Nurse's Office to mimic this noontime quiet. It wasn't so much that she wasn't feeling up to talking, not at all, but her friends looked worried whenever she opened her mouth, and it was never good to worry a friend. Not only that, but Takeshi wanting to carry her made her feel a little awkward.
It was clear that the room hadn't been visited by any staff since her last trip here, because the cabinet from which Leon had pulled bandages from was still open. Not that it was a bad thing, it was a short visit to the training field the second time, but she still couldn't help but wonder where the actual help in this place was. She shrugged and gently slipped out of Takeshi's hold.
➟Takeshi let her go. "You really aren't joking here, are you? I didn't think you'd get messed up this bad." The meister sighed. "Well let's just hope that the nurse can patch you up."
Mina entered as well. "Again I'm really sorry about all this. When I said my wavelength was dangerous even I didn't know how much damage it could do." She was still thinking of ways to make this up to Takeshi and Xuza and so far she was too wracked with worry to come up with something.

Xuza blinked a few times absently at the two of them.
"I still can't understand a word..." "Oh!" She had an idea. She grabbed a pen and pad off a nearby desk and began to write on it.
"I think I should be able to communicate like this," is what she attempted to write on the pad but all the came onto the page was some arcane looking symbols, most of which appeared to be written not vertically like the eastern script or horizontal like english, but instead sideways. She handed it over fully convinced the writing was legible.
➟Taking the pad he began to read. His cheeks swelled up with air as his signature pouty face was revealed. "This isn't english." He gently hit Xuza over the head with it. "This won't be useful if you don't use english." He reached over and grabbed the pen from her as well, then he started writing. Dear Xuza, we are not talking backwards, your just seriously messed up. Please don't panic though, I'm sure you'll be fine. He handed her back the pen and pad.
Mina looked at the pad and was quite confused. After seeing what Takeshi wrote Mina had an idea. She took a deep breath and concentrated. "?gniyas m'I tahw dnatsrednu ouy oD" It played havoc on her voice but if Xuza heard them backwards then it was possible speaking backwards would be heard correctly.

Takeshi's note, although well meant, discouraged Xuza even more. The words on the page would convulse and heave about in ameboid movements, instead of actually standing still to form letters.
Mina's solution, while clever, didn't fare any better. Instead of sound, Xuza would see raw colors in various hues coming from Mina's mouth, and would hear nothing. This was becoming a bad heroine trip really fast, and was entirely too much for Xuza now. She gave up, and curled up on the floor.
➟Nothing seemed to be working, and it looked like it was taking quite a toll on Xuza. He couldn't have imagined what it must have been like for her to be in the situation she's in now. Poor Xuza... Watching her curl up made his heart sink, if this kept up she would soon bring him to tears. It was like looking at an injured puppy limping around. "We should just let her know that she's not alone. Let's just smile at her, just to show everything will be okay." Kneeling down beside her he smiled reassuringly. Just to get her attention he rubbed her back gently, but just a little. He didn't want her to think he was some creep.
Mina couldn't bear it any longer. Xuza just seemed to be getting worse and it was all her fault. Seeing Xuza curl up and her own feelings of guilt and fear caused her to remember the events of her past she had always kept locked away. All those years she had spent in the dark, all the scars she had received. Min began to look around in a panic as the darkness overwhelmed her once more. She gripped her face, sticky with sweat, and began to have a panic attack. After a few seconds she tried to scream but was completely silent. She then passed out on the spot and collapsed.

"Takeshi?" Xuza could still be understood as speaking normally, and was about to thank Takeshi for being there for her, when she heard a thud.
"Mina!" "Move!" She shrugged off Takeshi and immediately appeared at Mina's side. Without even thinking about it, Xuza transported some of the water from her bottle in her bad, which was on the counter behind them, and splashed a handful on the girl's face. From the outside it looked like two people competing for the spot at the center of a pity party, but Xuza truly wanted to help the girl she'd just met, and would have no weakness from her damper her resolve to do so.
"Mina, come on!" "...Just take it easy, ok?"
"Hrr,is there anyone who works in this hole!" She looked back at Takeshi.
➟"Mina!" Takeshi was worried but seemed to be handling the situation now. He couldn't just stand there, he replied hesitantly. "R-Right!" Just like that he left the room in search of a nurse. "Hello!? Is anybody here!? We can use some help right now, it's kind of an emergency!" Running around the halls he searched for an employee that can help.
After Takeshi called out there was the sound of a chair scraping and then Nurse Mortem quickly walked out into the hallway, looking alarmed. "Yes, I'm here," she replied, looking at Takeshi. "Is someone injured?" She had been studying in the back room on her lunch break. "Tell me what happened."
