Deryk pushed himself back to his feet after that last fall, but he soon realized that he was being under attack. It was Jude! Letting out a gasp as he blade hit his throat (and thankfully did not sever anything.. this time), he staggered back before clenching his hands into fists. What was Jude's problem!? Oh. Wait. He had an idea. There was one love that they both shared after all. "YOU JUST WANT ALL THE COFFEE DON'T YOU!?" he shouted before running to try and tackle Jude to the ground. A greeting rang out behind him, gratingly happy. He did not like this voice. She struck him, but nothing that hurt. Nothing to change anything. But when he started to turn to attack her a different target stood out to him. Tall. Mostly white hair. Someone moving away from him. That was not allowed. Something primal was taking over. How dare he. How dare he just think he could escape. Go after some hunter. Rage flooded him as images flashed in his mind. Ripping stitches apart. Fire. He dashed forward, arm cross across his chest and his right hand next to his left ear in a clawed position, ready to strike out. To make him bleed. Rip the undead flesh from his bones because he could not leave. It was not allowed. At the last second he decided against the attack. It was not that he was not filled with rage and anger. It was that he refused to attack someone from behind with no warning. Instead he reached out, grabbing the zomboil's shoulder to spin him to fact him, face an angry snarl. "How dare you," he hissed at him. Accusing him. Not explaining why, not caring to. Rage. Anger. There. She had never met him, but Mitzi spoke of him incessantly, the purple-haired boil with the mohawk who Mitzi called her best friend.
He was a boil he would hurt her because that's what boils did. That's what they always did!
Reiko had to protect her friend. She had to kill him before he could hurt Mitzi. Mitzi would hate her at first but she would thank her later when she realized what monsters boils were. Because she would realize, they all realized in the end, and it hurt but it was for the better.
She launched herself at him, fist curled to punch him in the stomach.

Nuru attempted to lash out at Roch again, this time with intent. Hunger. So hungry. His hungered frenzy seemed to weaken him to the point he simply just... grabbed the reaper weakly and with a limp wrist before simply slipping to slump before him.

Suddenly the strix felt himself overwhlemed with anger. Why wasn't this working? What was going on? Everyone seemed to failing at everything!
The strix turned from the phoenix, heading back towards the hordes of people now attacking one another. His flight was low, eyes sharp and angry. He felt like they all looked the same, there were no sides. They were all just worms, prey for him.
