Red, hot fire flushed her cheeks as she missed again, fury building in her. She grit her teeth, her tongue thrashed in her jaws as she learned closer and closer to the edge of her broom. Suddenly, the ball cut a quick turn and spun to the far side of the pitch. She baited her time and when the opportunity arose, she swiped for it.

Blistering hot tears began to well up in her eyes, the incredible speeds chapping her skin, and her stomach lurched at every cannon ball dive and spiraling out of control. It was stretching farther and farther away, she could barely see it now. This was her last chance, she stretched out her hand and grasping fingers jumped for the snitch.

He hoped she did catch it; so this game would just be over already. Seeker was not his cup of tea at all. He knew it and everyone did as well. He at times was never patient; so that really contributed to it.

Dev wanted to give up now. This was impossible. He didn't know how his gorgeous girlfriend did it. How she just saw it all the time because he certainly couldn't.

At the last second, she caught herself on her broom and clutched to it for dear life as she skidded her race to a halt. The game seemed frozen, at stand still, and she was the only one alive. Dominic spun, wild. To his left Heather provoked, to his right, Dhylan instigated, all around, the chasers tossed him dirty, daring looks. He swung his bat in the air, it wouldhave been menacing, he supposed, if it wasn't for the wild grin his parents clearly identified as his 'what to do' grin.
They wanted to distract him, he knew, but they didn't have the quaffle. The one who did was tearing down the field away from him, likely am impossible shot. The only one vulnerable was Dhylan, who had just turned tail and darted in the opposite direction as Katrina. Just then, a bludger caught his sight and he soared head first, bat wielded and ready. And at the last second he took aim and fired at Dhylan.

Dominic swung too soon, the bludger was rising and descending in crashing waves. He swung nothing but air and then the world began to spin. A blistering pain coursed up his arm as sinewy muscle was slammed and he nearly flung upside down, hugging his broom as he fought for control of his broom, his bat barely dangling in his fingers. For a few moments, he couldn't lift himself up, but the humiliation was worse than pain. With a grunt and growl, he pulled himself up, his free hand massaging into the delicate tissue of his damaged shoulder after taking its second beating.

"Alright...where the h*** is this thing. I can not even f****** believe that I have not seen this thing yet," Dev cursed to himself, which was a rarity on its own. He honestly never cursed so it would've been a surprise to hear him say it.
