I smile at Jasmine and Laci, then look at Tellat again. "I'm sure you've always conceived colors as feeling and emotion rather than just some shade to understand. Like...like red...red is the warmth of the sun, the rosiness of cheeks and flowers, the color of passion...the color of bl...nevermind. Orange is similar, I suppose, but much more...'brighter'. My fur is rusty orange...and I'm a liger. Very odd creatures, but boy are they beautiful creatures...the mighty powerful maned lion and the stealthy, beautiful, magnificent striped tiger. However..." I look down at myself, "I'm not so sure I'm one of the beautiful ones. You all are beautiful, even cute little Shi'ita..." I say with a shy smile. "And fluffy b...lovely Jasmine, I'm sorry, but I'm going for food for now. I think I'm going to start growling along with my stomach soon...heheh..."

Nero & Laci: Tellat looks around as each of you point out a color or an object or a species. Finally, she lets go of Nero's paw and uses both of hers to clutch her head. "Too much...!" she whines. Zazigh pats her back lightly. "It's all right, Tellat," he says. "It will get easier over time." Tellat just nods.

I lok at Tellat. "Well, it's natural, I'd imagine it's pretty overwhelming to discover the whole world at once!" I say playfully. I walk towards the marketplace. "Well, I'm the type of person who likes a good experience... so We'll get you a nice range of foods!"'

"I don't think i've ever heard someone say that before...that a flying rodent was cute. Though perhaps it's mostly in the wording..." Shi'ita says to Nero

"Oh...sorry Tellat..." I say with an embarassed smile, then nod in agreement to Jasmine. To Shi'ita, I get a strange giddy smile and I muse to him, "Bats are so marvelous and make it so much more wonderful to enjoy the night. They pollinate the night flowers, spread seeds in the fruit they eat, and most graciously lower the cruel mosquito and other pesky insect poulation. What soft, cute, furry animals can fly other than bats?" I smile encouragingly to Shi'ita, then note, "You're probably among one of the most helpful animals here. The rest of us are just big predators, and of course we need predators, but you...you have a special purpose indeed,"

Everyone: When you arrive at the marketplace, it is filled with people calling out in Hyssmayian, trying to get people to buy their wares. However, only Jasmine can understand them.
Jasmine: You hear various phrases like, "Apples! Bright red apples!" and, "Deer meat! The finest deer this side of the Great Divide!" and even, "Rats! Rats on sticks! Best damned rats in all of Hyssmaye!"

"Bees; they make honey and help pollinate the flowers." responds Shi'ita to his question about furry flying animals. "Special purpose?" he asked a bit quizzically "Like what? Not eating your dinner meats?" he said, having rarely ever eaten actual meat.

"Bees don't come out at night for night blooming flowers, and they're not nearly as adorable as bats. They have creepy antennae and too many legs, heheh..." I say encouragingly, trying my best to help Shi'ita feel special. I then quiet down and look around in wonder, holding Tellat's hand again as we enter the town and take in new sights. I can't quite explain everything to her yet, as most towns are relatively new to me...

Laci thinks for a moment, "I wonder if we could make Tellat a picture book. Just draw all sorts of things, and then use that to teach her? I feel like it'd be easier that way." She looks back at Zazigh for some kind of conformation, since it is his child.

"Well... speaking of meat..." I say, walking towards the vendors. I try to pick up some venison, along with several various fruits and vegetable to feed the group and have enough for everyone to have a little bit of everything. "Hey, for starters, you can fly, and unlike Selph, you don't make a lot of noise. You also seem to pull out the soft little kitten that's in Cheedesu's heart! I see you two talk, the two of you are adorable!" I say to Shi'ita with a wink.

I smile at Jasmine's comment, then turn to Laci, still relatively unaware that I'm holding her hand. "I love that idea!! However...we need to find some good materials first..."

It'll be so much fun! There was a woman at my camp who used to draw pictures for us so we can color them! Maybe once she learns colors a little better, we can leave some of the pages uncolored and she can do them herself." Laci smiles to herself excitedly, she could finally be useful.

I had been walking along with the group on all fours as it was now more comfortable for me, staying silent as I listened to Nero and the others help Tellat learn sights and what not and also as they complimented Shi'ita, whose side I never left. I couldn't help but smirk and blush a bit when Jasmine mentioned how Shi'ita brought out my nice side and we looked cute... It was interesting to think about that considering it was true that I didn't usually trust people so easily.

Shi'ita grew quiet as he listened to Nero and Jasmine, before turning a little, looking at Desta. I've never thought of it that way. he thinks to himself. At first, it was just i was next to her...and then... He looks towards the ground a bit.

I thought Shi'ita looked as though he may be troubled, so I rubbed against him in a cat manner on his legs and purred softly before speaking just as so. "You okay?" I look up to him questioningly and with concern.
