Leon stared at her. "You don't know what it's like. I'm supposed to trust the people who still hold information about my parents? And wont tell me?" Leon felt himself growing angry. His body began to fight against itself. It was too tired to shift, but the anger was making him shift. His form began to blur as he tried to avoid shifting. "Not.. again..."

Leon glared at her. "I don't know if mine are dead. They won't tell me. I'm tired of being ordered around, threatened to be killed if I leave. I can't do anything I want. I HAVE NO CONTROL." As if to make a statement Leon suddenly stepped back and shifted against his control. His formed turned into a wolf, but at the last second he forced it to keep shifting into a fox. It was less dangerous, but it was still angry. It growled at Madeline angrily, yipping once.

Leon slowly stopped growling as he looked up at her. Seeing her sad made his anger disolve. Slowly his body calmed down as he shifted back to human, his legs crossed on the floor. He let out a heavy sigh. "Don't be so hard on yourself. You got stuck with a rather difficult client. Not might fault I'm flashy." He mumbled out, still looking out the window. He had calmed down finally.

Peng got two glasses. He wasn't sure if Madeline wanted water or not, but he knew Narco drank like a fish. Her job wasn't easy. He remembered what Narco said. 'Sometimes, Peng, there are secrets you have to keep. To protect the person who lost everything else. Sometimes you want to tell them, but that is what I am trained to do.' Peng's eyes lowered, heading back to Leon and Madeline. 'Secrecy is my burden. Peng, every secret I keep, it weighs at my heart. But soon my time will come and the weight has to be given to someone else. This girl is still only a child.' Peng paused at the door.

'Recruits these days... They don't understand why they're chosen. They don't understand how important they are. If they could just understand... Maybe the burden wouldn't be so heavy.'

"How do I make him understand?" Peng whispered. He felt like he failed already. He didn't want to fail Leon, he wanted to prove that this was all necessary, and if he could just keep control of himself...

She wiped the tear from her cheek and smiled a tad, "you shouldn't be so hard on yourself either....or Peng, I know he can seem distant but he's been doing this over 150 years and well " she shrugged "it hardens them, you could be so awesome if you gave it a chance instead of fighting" she said softly.

Madeleine stood up and took the glass of water with a small smile, "thank you Peng" she said setting it down on the counter, she really wasn't to thirsty. Picking the files back up she sighed sitting down, "Let's continue, ok?" she said softly. UGHHH Narco's Apprentice..........she had a freaking name!!!!

Madeleine looked at the door and sighed, watching the nurse go and help Leon. "ok then, Peng. We left off with just leaving the cafe and the target had shifted in the streets. Was there any physical damage to witnesses?" she asked making sure to keep an ear out for Leon.

Because he is a ghost, Leon's punch went right through him, but he was surprised at first. All Peng did was get water. Then he heard it; 'Don't be rude. She has a name...' Not only did miss Thomas not voice out her preference to be called by her name, which Peng would oblige to do, but the idea of Peng being called RUDE and this being voiced by LEON caused Peng to almost lose his patience. Not just a moment before, he felt sympathetic to Leon, but now Peng wanted anything to lash out. He almost did so when they were in the basement of the hospital, when he raised his voice. Now it was nearly unbearable. His only relief was watching Leon go to the other room to vomit, and Peng liked to imagine he did so due to the foul taste of hypocrisy that tainted his mouth. That child... He was just a child, that was it. Do not let the anger take you...

Once Leon was out of the room, Peng looked at Madeline. "If you do have a preference to your title, for example that you prefer to be called by name rather than by title, then you can voice your preference. I do hope that you are aware of that." It could be that Leon wasn't aware that being called by one's title was a sign of recognition to said title. All the same, Leon's ignorance and rebellion would be the death of him if he continued down that path. As much as Peng didn't want to fail him, he also didn't have all the patience in the world... Though only those that lived longer than 100 years knew of THAT. Leon would learn it soon, Peng could feel it.

By this time, the black-haired woman was seated and ready to eat. The woman that saved Clone before was standing, having turned to her and smiled. "Its alright, you're safe here. Please, relax. Once the chaos dies down I can take you home if you like."

"Hm?" Jeremy looked down at Clara and smiled. "Funny you should ask, Clara." He looked back up at the father. "We took a look around Soowahi desert." Soowahi desert was the third largest desert in the world, found in Ackrland. Except that Ackrland not only was expensive to go, but also a day's flight away. "Here Clara, let me show you a map." Jeremy goes over to a drawer and takes out a map of Harganoph. Then he kneels to Clara. "See, we are here... And the desert, where we were is here." Jeremy pointed to the spot where they were before.

"Hmm~ You'll never get his attention if you expect him to wait and see you. His mind is so one-track he probably doesn't even know we're still here." Hypatia looked over at Necro, giving him a flirtatious wink.
