Best: Mountains! Mountain offers the highest rate of avoid. =) Worst: Hmm... Sand. It just sucks to move on.

Best: Plains. Sure there aren't any bonuses for it, but at least it makes it easy to move around.
Worst: Sand. Like Nino said, it sucks to move on. God forbid you bring mounted units to desert chapters.

Best: FE4! Road- x2 MOV, sacrificing 10% AVD, which isn't much in the grand scheme of things, seeing as MOV is like the central idea of FE4, ftw!
I would say forts, but availability hinders it a lot for me. Unfortunately, they do not populate every single square, making it a tad bit tough to centre my tactics around forts if they're only going to be on a map 1/50th of the time and realistically, you should be moving forward, not sitting on a fort for 60 turns waiting.
Worst: Sand, boring and nothing really positive about it.

Best: Forts! Healing + Def + Avoid? Oh yeah. ;D
Worst: Sand. It prevents me from using my cavalry effectively!

Best: I am pretty partial to forts. Worst: Sand. ...It doesn't even make sense the way FE utilizes it. In all logic, horseback units would still have the most mobility, save for fliers, since horses are what are used to travel desert areas.

Best: Mountains. For flying units, anyway. I am having fuzzy happy memories of planting Florina in some mountains and having her take down some hapless spawning myrmidons...
Worst: While I don't like sand at all, I have to say mud from FE9 is my most hated terrain. That chapter. May it rot in the pits of blargh-ville. Though I will admit that it makes sense, sort of. Rath's right; sand is unsteady footing, but not very slippery and horses can traverse it. Mud, however... is what stops horses in real life, along with steep hills.

Best: Forts good place for defense and it heals you!
Worst: Cracked walls.... It doesn't even make sense. You can't realistically tear down a section of wall with a weapon. that's not what weapons are for or what they are designed for! They would be tools if they were designed for that. Tools not weapons!
If that doesn't count as terrain i'm gonna have to agree with Skrim and say mud... Pain in the a**...

Best: Sylvia, she doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to her assets!
Worst: Navarre, and all those other "..." Swordfighters, they can go ******** themselves, anti-social wanna-be cool pricks.
I choose Navarre because he's the first person in the series to perpetuate such a dickly attitude, in short, he is the father of the dickish curse of the ellipsises (ellipsi?).

Heh, I haven't posted in here for a while. Well, now's as good a time as any.
Best: Reyson. I value characters that can cover a wide range of emotions and unite them all under a single personality, and Reyson more than fits that bill. He is unique in his position, in that while he is a support character with pretty white wings that can bring forests back to life with his angelic voice, he can also get angry (very angry), make mistakes, learn from them, and be a valuable asset as an ally and a friend. And even when he is friendly towards Ike and has joined your cause, and even when he is showing insecurity regarding his unconventional strength, there is this wonderful edge to him that I just adore. He is the epitome of characters that are strong not in physical power, but in iron willpower. As well as characters that go beyond their niches and become something really special.
Worst: I agree with Maji-leaf-tar... Hassan. Angsty aloof swordsmen that never get over themselves drive me nuts. However, when you add self-obsession, the diverting of rage onto scapegoats, and renaming yourself "Raven," you've got a recipe for a*****e. All the development he gets is essentially pushing people away, talking about revenge, and realizing the crazy conclusions he jumped at. And even then, he can't get that out without talking about the "Depths of despair that he had..." And still pushes Lucius away in the process. And in his supports with Priscilla, he doesn't get over the revenge, but he lets Priscilla stay by his side....? Raven, man, your growth rates are awesome, but get over yourself! Character development aside, what little there is, his personality is a constant and it has always bugged me.
