Domo baka... It's because he was befriended that monk/priest and when he was too weak, he called on that monk/priest and that monk/priest opened a pathway for Naraku to go so he wouldn't get purified! It's easy to figure out!

It's a large fluffy boa! Not a snake... Not a tail... And not a blanket! Get it through your thick heads! The fur over Sesshomaru's right shoulder is his fluffy boa! Or better known as mokomoko-sama... I think... I can't really remember it completely... I know it started with an 'm' and ended with 'sama' and had 'mo' in it... oh well. Mokomoko-sama is close enough!
