Nerevar Telvanni Just Before An Eclipse Sorry for the double post, but I forgot about this earlier....can students learn spells outside of the classroom? Such as going to the library and finding a book then practicing, or having a more advanced student teach it to them? Or must we wait for each spell to be taught in class?
You can learn spells outside of the classroom, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to. After all Harry and the gang learned to perform spells not taught in the class room. Just don't go learning subjects that your year would not be able to do, no matter how smart you are.
Also is there a groundskeeper or a caretaker? Or will it be just the teachers and the prefects to stop mischief?
((I'm sorry I missed the public burning of Twilight. I'm pretending there aren't any left, so I guess we can't have another can we?))

Ayamae Akahana singlikenoonecanhearyou 1) Yes, a ghost would infact be pretty awesome, we could have someone who we know is active in the guild play that role as well, once they have been here for a few weeks and swear to still post in classes. 2) Yes we do have the HP series in the library, and no twilight series, that was burned (Thank God) 3) you can of course learn spells in the library, but if that's the only way you learn spells, then no. (I know you wouldn't probably do this, just giving and example) Like, if someone goes in the library and starts reading up on 6th year spells when they just got here, then yea, as Kenneth said, that would be a bit much. But sure, Hermione certainly did it XD @ #2: YOU'RE VERY WELCOME, SING. <3 Hahah biggrin

Oh, and plus I think that Harry's story could be told in books as well, since Hermione told harry he was in books about destroying Voldemort when he was a baby, so they probably recorded him destroying Voldemort when he was 17. Though I do think some of the details and all were just told orally. (They may not record the part about him faking his death type of thing, or the whole elder wand situation)

Thanks for confirmation on the books, Sing, I believe you're right. I'll have Amelia read them once she catches up, and heads to the library.
And am I posting okay? Like I pretended that I had Transfiguration first, then was late for History (which I think might actually be on hiatus, but whatever.) Even though I posted them sort of right after one another. Is that okay? Or am I wrong to do that?

You are posting wonderfully, and have apparently caught on quickly with your posting style. And no, we do not have a groundskeeper or caretaker. Perhaps we should get one, but for now we simply have prefects and teachers.

CAN WE HAVE A SPIRIT WEEK FOR HOGWARTS? Oh my god PLEASE!
Like instead of it being 7 days we can make it 14 so everyone had a chance to participate.
For example
Each pair of days will have a theme to it to where we will have to match the theme and there will be a winner (and prize?) for each theme. And after the "7" Days are up we can have an overall winner for the best overall outfit. Of course to make it fair tektek will be available as well as your own wardrobe.
