((Got her, Aly. And thank you. She's absolutely adorable!))
Nehanda scrunched her little face up, and sat down with a "whoof" and a plop. Holding up her hands, she stared at the solid digits. Suddenly, she smiled enormously. Picking herself back up, she launched her compact little body into Aly's arms, wrapping her own around his neck for a hug.
"Oh, my gods," Foenix murmured. Her legs couldn't seem to hold her, all of the sudden, and she dropped to her knees beside the table.
Hearing her guardian's voice, Nehanda detatched herself from Aly and gave Foenix the same treatment. She hugged the woman, giggling and wriggling with glee. "Yay! Yay yay yay yay yay!" she shouted.
Foenix laughed in turn, but quickly held a finger to her lips. "Acia's sleeping, remember? We don't want to wake her up."
Nehanda nodded solemnly. "Let Assya slweep," she agreed. Pushing herself to her own toed feet, she tried to walk, and fell back onto her bottom. Hmmm. This was going to take some getting used to. "Gardens!" she declared.
Foenix gathered the child up into her arms. "I can't thank you enough, Aly. She's absolutely precious. But I think we'll head home now, so Nehanda can re-introduce herself to all of her plants."
Turning, she started to walk toward the door.
((Yup, gotta head to work. I'll update everything in the journal as soon as I'm home this evening.))

Alyosha nodded, understanding the little Aerandirs eagerness. "Have fun!" he called as they walked out, still slightly dazed by the event. He'd have to write up a report, of course, as this was a tricky stage for all of the Aerandir it seemed.

Still very humbled and humiliated, Delta pushed open the door to the centre with her mother's help. Creeping along quietly, her mother had gotten her a dog's sweater that was made for a Chihuahua that she wore now. It was the only half-way decent for her to cover up her still-bright-blue fur. She had been promised that Sy would help her dye it back after she found out if it would be safe to do from Aly.
Screw being safe, she wanted her dignity back.
As she slunk in, her mother walked ahead of her and peered around looking for Aly. Looking more and more like a bum, she was wearing some loose jean shorts with a few holes, a slightly-too-small tank top that looked like it came from a thrift store, and her hair was pulled back and stuck with a large chopstick in what could only be mused was a sad attempt at a bun.

Alyosha stepped out of his apartments to stretch his legs. After this mornings excitement he had spent a good few hours writing up a report on the methods and outcomes of the "birth".
Yawning he wandered into the main body of the centre. Spotting Sy, he waved. "Hello!"

"Hey," she answered, a faint blush rising in her cheeks, although she had lost some of her shyness. "I had a few questions for you..." Oh dear. Was that the best way to start a conversation with him? He looked nice today. n_n
Seizing her opportunity when Aly was distracted, she leapt behind a table and chairs, not wanting HIM to see her like this. It was one thing to let her mother ask about her dilemma, another to let him see it. Wasn't like he needed a visual anyway.

Alyoshas ears pricked as he head small hooves pattering away at speed. He blinked, smiling a little towards Sy. "Questions, eh?"

"Yes, I wanted to ask you... if..." He was sort of cute how he sometimes tilted his head to the side when he listened, she mused. Or how he was always smiling when he met her, trying to be so nice and cordial. In fact, she found herself thinking about such idiosyncracies so intently that Delta's blue fur was forgotten.
That rotten... he'd better not start looking for her. Staring at him from under a table, she fidgeted in the Chihuahua sweater, trying to pull at it with her beak so that it covered more than it already did.

Alyosha waited, watching her. He blinked a little, waving his right hand in the air in front of him slightly. "You want to ask if.."
His brain went through a list of reasons that she might not want to ask directly and it immediately occured to him that surely she would not ask a lot of them in the middle of the centre. It must be something more mundane than.. THAT surely. Musn't it?

After he waved the hand in front of his face, she started, blushing a little. "Oh! Oh, I'm sorry. Do you know if dye's harmful to Aerandir?" Of course, since he had dropped by her house just to say goodnight and given her that sweet kiss, there were other questions she had. Like why he was acting so strange that night... or why he and Ieyasu seemed so different if they were both kitsune? They were silly, ignorant questions, so fear of his reaction held them at bay for now.
Delta had started to try to yank the sweater over her head when it made her weight shift in such a way she rolled over, one foot caught in the torso's section. Kicking at the sweater, she tried to shift it back into place.

Alyosha wondered for a moment what kind of accident Delta had gotten herself into, for something must have prompted Sy to ask. Maybe she had accidentally dyed her with that brown hair dye she always had around.
"I would guess it would depend on the type... but it can't be that good for them really.." he looked around now, wondering why Delta was hiding. He should probably have a look at her, maybe send her to the enthusiastic Nehanda if the little creature was feeling ill.

!!! Delta suddenly tumbled out from under the table, shrieking at Aly in perhaps one of the cacophonous protests she could muster. Throwing a hissy fit, she now was full of hatred for this man whose words had just condemned her to having bright blue fur for... for... for too long, that was for certain!
Sy scrambled to grab her daughter as she saw Delta, although caught up in her sweater, start to stumble, trip, shuffle, slink, and twitch her way over to Alyosha. From the sounds Delta was making, Sy was fairly certain letting her getting closer to Aly would be a bad idea.

Alyosha took an instinctive step back from the flailing hissing Aerandir. He'd never seen one be so fiesty. A little grin crossed his lips as he seen the sweater she had on, the hints of unnatural blue-ness that were on her. Now he had a better idea of the situation.
"So.. what happened here, the?" he asked, venturing a further step back in the hope that this might calm the Aerandir down enough for Sy to hold her. "The pretty little princess had an accident?" he addessed Sy. "What was it?"

"She got into my paint whil-," she started but stopped as a flailing hoof hit her in the jaw. Ow. Delta didn't seem to notice, too incredibly vengeful towards this man who mocked her and called her a pretty princess, and perhaps a little pissy that her mother had also recited her embarassing incident. After getting a kick in the jaw by a small, but hyper hooved, creature mid-sentence caused her to falter, and at the same time she bit her tongue from cursing, she tried to catch Delta as she fell.
Delta, however, tumbled right out of her mother's arms as she was caught near the floor.
It was like watching a sadly entertaining comedy.

Alyosha, amused as he was, strode forward towards Sy. He reached forward and took the flitting creature from in front of her reaching hands, grasping her tightly above the back of her head and just in front of her forelimbs, over her wings a little way.
Holding his arms out, she was now suspended obove the ground, wings trapped and feet dangling, his fingers were out of the way of her beak too. Alyosha had handled animals before, you could tell.
"Delta" he admonished her. "Here your mother is trying to help you and you hurt her! you should be ashamed!" He turned to Sy. "Are you ok? that looked like it might have stung a little?"
He turned his attentions then back to Delta "If you don't behave right this instant we'll have to leave that paint on you and it'll be your own fault!" he spoke calmly, clearly but with a tone which brooked little argument. He had been a spoiled kid too. He gazed directly into her little dark eye.

Delta didn't mean to hurt her mother... it was an accident. But she wasn't entirely ashamed- after all, her mother *had* told Aly about how she turned blue and that was embarassing. Irregardless of how she felt about hurting her mother by accident, she calmed down quickly for Aly at the notion of staying blue. When her mom had given her a threat like that the first time, she had followed through.
"Oh... I'm okay," she replied a little embarassed. It took a little more than that to really hurt her... she was just sort of sorry that Delta was being restrained in such a way. "Do... do you know a way to get it off?"
