It got later in the night and Raiku was trying to get some kind of
sleep but instead he stares at the clock,"Four in the morning.....first time I actually stayed up like this for a long time, maybe just nerves of whats to come." which was on his mind from the trial in a few months to Senente leaving for tour however he had a piece of mind with him thinking about how she would heal from what happened and the girls were safe
hidden.....nothing to worry about.

Morning crept up in the window as Senente woke awake seeing she was watched."Tell me you didnt stay up the whole time did you." which was the truth since it was in his eye and showing the sign of not even a wink of sleep,"When we get out of here your going to sleep and I wont hear a complaint about it." Raiku just smiled seeing how well she was improving.

Hiroshi stirs from a dream as the rest of them slept still and he catches the first rays of the morning creeping from his window,feeling around his hand hits something and jumps when he hears a squeek from under his blanket.Quietly he looks under one corner spotting a shine of silver and uncovers more.

The noise came from Yuki who must've woken in the middle of the
night terrified and took refuge with Hiroshi knowing he was going
to protect her and snuck into his futon while he slept,he smiles at
her and climbs back into his futon with her holding her close as
her head snuggles next to him smiling in her sleep.

Ayume rushed around like a bee making sure every filing was set and every document was in place to be sent to the senders,Raiku walks by seeing her office nothing more than papers flying everywhere and hears a thud. "Are you alright there Miss Ayume? whats with all the chaos." she was face first in a pile of files scattered all over the floor but she was up in a second trying to pick them up as he offered a hand,"Oh you know me once something needs to be done I always make sure its done to the
fullest but.....theres just that little side of me that seems to trip on
her own feet well this time cord would you say."

Both of them get all the paperwork and shes right away typing on the computer pressing each and every key till finally her desk is clear of
everything,"Thats the last of it took a little more time but its all
done thanks for helping me with the sidetrack your very helpful."
he smiles heading back to Senente reading and looks to him,"They say I can go home tomarrow afternoon as long as I keep applying my gels to my burns I'll be fine.....I really miss home." "I know you do but think of it this way tomarrow afternoon you'll be home and the tour will be around the corner before you know it.Which reminds me I have to get back to the house and grab something I wont be too long." he says heading out.

Haruka looks at them thinking the same way as he was that when the time came, they will be together and there was no hiding it, she goes to wake them as they opened their eyes at the same time and saw each other but Hiroshi goes red backpeddling out of his futon hitting the wall hard enough for his scrolls to knock off the self above him.Yuki laughs at the sight and Haruka couldnt hide her smile as she helped him up herding all the children into the dining area, once breakfest was done she got all the children ready for the daily routine brushing Everest's hair out and decided to have them all gather.


"My dears I know its a big change but I've decided what your new names will be,Everest since your name is english it was hard but seeing your always up first in the morning I believe Asako is you and your sister Yuki I always loved the name Hiromi....how does that sound?" the girls look at her and smile hugging her,"Well now Asako,Hiromi,and Hiroshi we must get everything done for the morning.Hiroshi and Hiromi I need you to pick up some more rice,eggs,milk,and these fruits, and Asako you can help me in the garden also get some wood for tonight's fire." All the children split whilt the two went into the woods heading into the square.

Raiku was in the square himself and could see it was the busiest time with people everywhere mostly with it being Saturday which ment errand days for everyone,kids played, teens are grouped in their packs talking about the lastest trends to the shopkeepers busy with sales....it was packed. Just as he looks around he ends up seeing the sky bumping into someone but stands quickly to see he ran into a small girl,"Oh my I'm sorry did I hurt you? here let me help you up." he looks in her eyes for a second getting a strange feeling he knew her but he started to doubt it,"Silver hair and eyes? the triangles?....more Phamtronians?!" he thinks to himself as he hears someone.

"Hiromi where are you lets go" and automaticly she gets up running to the sound leave Raiku a little curious.Once on the island something didnt feel right but it was once he opened the door and spots the shattered glass by his feet his feeling was dead on.

Raiku thinks about when he picked up the place setting things back to where they were and swept the glass away before leaving,the pictures wernt damaged from the fall but for the best he hid them in a drawer so Senente and make her as comfortable as possible when she returned. He makes his way back to the hospital looking towards Ayume still wound up filing and knowing her she was set on one thing and heads into Senente's room,"Bout time you got back you were gone for some time." she only looks at his face for a second and could tell thats something wasnt right.

He begins when he got to the house that the fiance had got in and a few things were stolen and possecion taken,Senente was at the verge of tears thinking about the ribbons, she worked to the bone trying to win them and they were taken in minutes,"Shes gone too far taking the things I worked hard to do and what about the papers....if they get destroyed then proof the children are ours will be lost and they....they could be taken away from child sevices...I dont want to lose everything." tears formed in her eyes thinking of everything that could happen if the tables were turned on them but feels his arms around her

."Dont worry hun, we have the evidence plus, she too will get into trouble for breaking into our home and taking things...my worry is" he pauses thinking about it,if she had Yuki autobiography then the girls could be rxposed and suspision of nonhuman beings existing would rise,he just hope the book would never be read but holds Senente close to calm her down asuring her that she'll get everything back that was stolen and the luck was on their side.

Hiroshi slides the door carrying the load he caught heading into the kitchen, three large salmon,four eels,several lake fish,two squid,and a yellowtail,Haruka smiles happy about the catch and how well he was able to drag it all back,"Such a nice haul son, well eat the yellowtail today and salt the rest for later meals go ahead and take a break and I'll have Hiromi send the tea." He wasnt used to it but back home it was the females that did the house things and tend to the men while the males hunt and provide for the house,HIromi comes in holding the tray carefully setting it up for him but a cup rolls out of her grasp and at the same time both of them catch hold of the cup,both look at eachother as his face turns red and she takes hold of the cup,"Sorry Hiroshi I wasnt paying attention....I'll get it."

After she pours it she take her leave but all he could think about was when his hand touched hers,"Soft hands...and so warm too...her face was cute looking like that wait....what?" he mixes his word sipping a little to shake the thought. Asako finishes the dishes and goes to play and doesnt see Hiromi anywhere,"Mama....I cant find Hiromi in the living quarters is she doing something for you." "Yes dear she went into the woods to collect some wild gooseberries but...she should've been back by now the suns almost down.

The woods were already blackened by the coming night as Hiromi picks at the bottem of the bush filling the basket with the light green berry,as soon as she has enough she heads back care that the branches didnt catch on the red cloak Haruka had her wear to spot her from a distance.She looks around seeing it was late and started to climb the ledges back to the dojo but as she came down her shoe slides causing her to trip throwing the basket out of her grasp and getting trapped in a crack of a ledge.She looks up and sees she cant climb and tries to cry out for anyone to find her but her cloak slid off when she fell and it clinged on a tall branch.

It finally got dark and the snow started tocome down at a steady pace not too much but enough that it was covering the ground of Skyline,Raiku was glad Senente was going to be out the next day and things could be a little better with her home even with the upcoming events ahead of them but what Senente had in her thoughts were on clear knowing this wasnt going to be hard.

She looks at him as he was at the verge of falling asleep and she couldnt resist a laugh,"Go ahead and sleep...you were up all night last night and I did say rest up when I go home which is tomarrow....go sleep and I'll do the same." he looks at her and smiles getting comfortable on the couch not leaving her stare till he fell asleep himself.

Haruka was hard at work trying to figure out the best remedy for Hiroshi's sudden cough,the girls knew only that it was cold out and he had gotten sick from it but Haruka was hiding the real truth about it as if she knew it was coming.Ever since he was small the winter were harsh on his immune system making him more valnurable to catching something with phemonia being the scariest for her to deal with having the thought she was going to lose him. He lays on his futon coughing terribly with the pain on his face from them pounding on his chest,Haruka comes in with a bitter smelling liquid that was the best shadow herbs she could get her hands on but it saved him every year, he took it as best as he could but it felt life acid to him.

"Luckly mommy knew this was about to happen....the girls and I will do the work while you recover." and she goes out to bed but Hiromi was watching from the doorway,seeing Hiroshi suffer was the worst thing she wanted to see after he tried so hard to protect her.Carefull she creeps in kneeling by him watching him and puts a hand by his gripping it lightly,he could tell by the size it was her and his expression of pain started to ease up and he wakes seeing her,"Hey little fox girl."

Thinking back in his thoughts he remembered from when they were children that Senente carried a stuffed bunny toy her mother gave to her at a very young age,"Yeah I do remember that thing but after her mother's death.....she put it away possibly for concealing her memories." he thinks setting the picture down.Senente did however put it away when she moved in with him and from this day never really knew where exactly she put it and she thought of it being lost for good,coming down she was smiling at him,"Just a couple weeks longer and the tour awaits..I know I'll do my best."

"Not just do your best you will be the best,just get used to a lot of change though america is much different then here." he reply adjusting the frame to fix. A couple days goes by and it was the same ritual through the day with applying medecine and rest however she wasnt used to not able to do the things she did and it was quieter,without the girls around there wasnt any arguments to end nor laughing of play....almost like it was just last year when it was only them.

At the Mokenami's things were finally starting to adjust with the girls accepting their new selves and the new enviorment they were in, just like back in the Shadow Realm in a sort where the time period was still in the 1800's the girls felt more comfortable with the lifestyle and almost thought themselves as Phamtronians then Lokchaions. Haruka passed the hall for a moment carrying the laundry and spot Hiromi,still kneeling in the same spot watching Hiroshi as he slept.

Realizing what was happening she didnt want to leave him and refused to move not wanting to leave him for a second only to give him the daily herbal remedies and food not even taking care of herself.Haruka knew for a fact those two had a link that was more deeper than expected that even Hiromi was willing to do anything to get him better however,hearing about the real cause of his illness scared Hiromi more and just wanted to do something for him remembering well of his words of him wanting to see her as a grown up at that point broke her down.

Every so hour he would calm down enough to talk to her and he tries to get her to take care of herself but she softly refuses acting stubborn only wanting to do anything to get him well.

In his mind Raiku would think of it as a better surprise if she saw it for herself,carefully not wanting her to wake he slides the rabbit in her arms and as if it was a response the soft fur rubbed on her face and her arms wrapped around it feeling security and happiness not even knowing it was her long lost bunny.

The silence in the house was a new change but with it getting close to tour time it was Senente's turn to get the rest she needed before the huge moving ariound America and all she has to be her best in each competition as determination got the best of her each day with the ideal image of all the medals going gold was her main priority, if it wasnt pokemon contest she was spiked about it was ice skating as a second runner up in being competitive.

Asako was peering through Haruka's door and heared everything she was saying, as a single mother raising a son on her own Haruka had it tough and even with the job as the school nurse it wasnt getting her far and with each day passing was another day closer Hiroshi was going to get weaker. "If I dont do anything then the next time he's asleep will possibly be...." tears poured down even thinking the idea and she puts the money away knocking down a box and removing the lid, inside was her more lavishing kimonos and an idea came to her.

Whenever she had to go back to the Shadow Realm to get supplies she was also working as a Phamtronian geisha to earn more money to help them and she was getting the thought of going off to do it again however it was going to be risky with not just Hiroshi but two more but she had to do it and she couldnt count on anyone else or the girls would be exposed.With their minds already set to their new lives bring back the past would ruin everything but Haruka knew for sure they could stay safe as long as they stayed near the dojo,with that her mind was made up and decided to get things around. Hiromi was still with Hiroshi who was starting to get his color back only letting out a cough or two,they both looked in the hall seeing Haruka pass the hall in her cloak,just before putting on sturdy boots all three of the children were watching her knowing what was happening.

"Dears, I'll be gone for only two weeks and just like that i'll be back here,mommy needs to get more Shadow herbs and a few other things." she lies petting Asako hair,"I'm making you the one in charge, Hiroshi needs one more day before he is well so you must take care of him and Hiromi...I know you can do it,just a couple weeks." Asako nods her head not showing any tears but it was when Haruka left out of view the children felt being abandoned,"She'll come back girls...she always does and we live better.....we can do this."Hiroshi says with a smile knowing he'll be playing the role in helping tend the dojo for the time Haruka would be gone but it would be a different experience since he wasnt alone this time but with the girls.

It didnt take Haruka long to reach the gateway and pass through the realm border,once back the smell of decay filled her nose as she looks around at what was left of her old sector 17 and knew she was back. She walks a little bit getting to the central part of the city where her geisha home was and the head lady was waiting at the door,"Its been awhile Haruka...well....you know where your room is and you start work as soon as you are prepared in your attire.Now go on." it was the same thing she did whenever she came to the home, dress pretty,display herself in the windows for the several men that passed through the sector ad await for clients.....in her mind though she knew it was going to help.

Once her make up was on shes forced to her regular window who she shared with her friends Akimi,Fukiko,Maho,and Yoko and give them details of where she have been all this time and how her son was,Maho knew herbs well from her sector and gave Haruka a few bundles to bring back especially lots of Nightshade leaves and berries for her sleep syrups.

Back in the dojo Asako was making sure the fire in the kilm kept going as Hiroshi and Hiromi watched,he knew what to do at these time and had to asure the girls things were going to be alright, it was getting cold out and the girls didnt have proper coats so going outside was rare only to salvage for the few things around and the couple trips to the market with the money they were left with.Hiromi wasnt taking the desertion good and would suddenly burst in tears upset and angered that Haruka left and from time to time she would start up a temper tantrum that Asako would have to hold her till she tired herself out,"Hiromi stop this! you heared mommy and she said we will be fine...you dont have to scream for her so much you break something. She's doing this so we can be happy dont you get it?" she yells to her but Hiromi wasnt in the mood to listen and flared again getting close to fire,Hiroshi ran into her and got her crying more but he was going to calm her down with whatever energy he had.

"Hiromi please listen....its tough I know but mommy will come back and we'll all be happier....just give it time please." he stay calm with her gripping to her wrist till she relaxed and sat up,"Sorry Hiroshi...I didnt mean to....sorry." Asako knew tonight was going to be rough and putting those two to bed was going to be a challenge so she reads Haruka's books on medicine and finds the vile in the cabinet,a blue glass vial with a dropper."Taking just a drop she tasted a little noticing it had a sweet taste to it and adds a little in their tea and within minutes Hiroshi and Hiromi were feeling the effects numbing their bodies as Asako guieded them to bed tucking them in before she headed into her room to bed.
