Jackal rolled his eyes again, bringing them up to face Koko once more. "Look, it may be missing half of itself, but this is still my house, and youre really becoming an annoyance now, I may be cuffed on the floor, but I'm still the authority here."He raised his hands and waved them in a "shooing" motion. "Now go on, out, shoo..." He turned his head towards Zed, ready to listen, and then turned back towards the girl abruptly, having forgotten something: "Oh yeah, and Koko" he winked, "touch that bike, you'll regret it..." He turned back towards the pilot, grinning, "Now Zed, where were you?"

Zed didn't break his eyecontact with Jackal, though he did listen to koko.
Damn... i wanted that shower... i miss my poncho...
"Yes, the negotiation... where was I? oh yeah... So, you don't have anything I want or even need... so here's the deal, I fly you someplace nice, say, the middle of some salt flats, in a giant maw worm feeding ground, with some s**t gun with only one bullet..."
Zed hadn't thought up a plan like this before, as he'd never expected or even wanted to capture anyone.

Jackal threw his head back laughing, it wasn't fake, it wasn't put on to antagonize. It was genuine, furious laughter. Eventually, the raider managed to catch his breath, bringing his cuffed hands up to his face to wipe his eyes.
"Ahahaha, a-ha, aaah, I like you Zed, you're alright, your sense of humor slays me mate..." He stifled some more laughter, and then brought his steady gaze up to meet the pilot's, his ice blue eyes glinting in the moment of humor.
"Now, I'm sure you havn't heard of me Zed, you know, a legend such as yourself, but I'm somewhat of a legend too, in my own right, and mine didn't just come from owning a fancy ship."He took a deep breath in, and continued. "You see Zed, I'm a top-notch raider... the best, and its gonna take alot more than dropping me in some salt flat to kill me." He grinned, his eyes looking into the distant depth's of his past. "I survived that sh*t when I was 14 mate."He looked at Zed seriously for a second, his blue eyes turning cold once more. "Yeah... alot more..."

At Jackal's threat Koko meerly shrugged, he didn't scare her. She exited the shack & headed in the direction she knew the bike was kept, coming across the locked gate. She sighed & ran her hand through her hair - if she had her combat knife she'd just slice through the lock. Instead, she reached into her right boot, fishing out a lockpick kept in a little hidden section of it. After about half a minute she'd picked the lock & pushed the gate open, stumbling through towards the raider's 'workshop'. It seemed that he'd only bothered to lock the gate, not the building itself - probably since he wouldn't have betted on Koko getting rescued. Therefore it was rather simple for her to reach the bike. She remembered where the vehicle had been placed & was soon stood next to it, admiring the machine. She ran one hand over the surface of the bike, murmering to herself, "Heh, I touched it little doggie. Now what ya gunna do?"

Zed sighed and ran a hand through his hair, looking back at where Koko had been stood.
"It takes a lot to rough it out in the desert and do the stuff you did, I respect that, Heck, I couldn't do half of that s**t, but what I don't respect is the mistreatment of my female accomplace..."
The chair creeked again as he shifted his weight on the chair.
"Y'know, I'm gunna let you come up with what we should do with ya... I'm sure you've got loads of great ideas in that twisted raider mind of yours..."

Jackal smirked, and leaned back in the rubble of his shack, still looking a bit tired. "Well thankyou for the compliment Zed..." He looked around the shack with a sigh, lookin slightly frustrated, he turned his gaze back towards Zed and grinned. "However, despite your sweet nothings, your decision to let me decide my fate must be questioned."He leaned forwards towards the captain, a groan sounding in his throat. "Especially since all of the ideas in my 'twisted raider mind' involve, you, your missus out there, a tanker of petrol, and one f***ing huge explosion..." The raider paused for a second to laugh at his own joke, and then readressed the man. "Besides, Ive got a feeling your little bundle o' joy out there aint gonna let me get away from here unscathed, so best consult her before doing anything."He raised his eyebrows humorously. "And I wouldn't want you two having a domestic over little old me..."

Koko sat down in front of the bike, putting one hand under her chin & tilting her head to the side as she studied it. She remembered the raider using a fingerprint lock, or something similar, in order to lock down the bike, so she'd have to hack past that if she wanted to do anything with the vehicle - without taking it apart of course. The bike was a fine piece of machinery, so she didn't really want to dismantle it & use it for parts, that would be a waste. Sighing she carefully rolled onto her back & slid herself towards the bike so that she could see underneath it. She knew where to take the main panel off, where the controls for the locking mechanism would hopefully be. But it wouldn't be very easy to hack here, the Aiolos had a lot of equipment she could use to help her.
Slowly, the mercenary got to her feet & looked around the room, looking for something she could help shift the bike with. If she wasn't injured it would be easy, but alas, this was not the case. While she didn't spot anything that might help, eventually her eyes did settle on a rifle that she thought could replace the one she'd lost. She picked it up, tested the weight, raised an eyebrow then shrugged & slung it over her back, keeping it in place with a piece of material she found lying around. Then she noticed a small set of tools & gathered them together, mulling over a few ideas in her head. Looking back over at the bike Koko exhaled slowly & placed her hand on the body, "Well girl, looks like I'm gunna hav'ta work with ya a bit eh?" The mercenary rolled onto her back again, deciding to try & at least loosen the brakes & clutch, to let her wheel it out to the Aiolos. She'd work on breaking down the mechanisms keeping the engine locked later.

Zed stood up from the chair, spun it, then placed it the right way around, facing jackal. "Well, I'd better go have a litte chat with her then... John, watch- ...Where the hell did that John guy get to?..."
He looked around the half-shack for a moment.
"Don't move."
Zed walked out of the doorframe of the shack, spotting Koko messing with the bike. He sighed then leant on the doorframe.

Jackal watched the pilot as he left the shack, and contemplated his position. Both of his guns were on the floor. The mossberg was useless, he'd have one shot, thats if he'd cocked it, and if he hadn't, there was no way he could, the cuffs prevented him from moving his hands apart. However, what he did spot was his magnum, and it glinted in the setting sun, calling him, beckoning him... and who was he to refuse? Slowly, the raider shifted himself onto his front, and attempted to raise himself into a squatting position, this was no easy task, considering his recent injuries. Both his shoulders were desemated, along with his left arm (courtesy of the first of Koko's attacks), and the trauma his body had occured during the explosion that had caused half of his shack to collapse had caused his muscles to sieze up dramatically. He'd also hit his head upon being thrown across the room, causing the raider to sustain mild concussion.
Jackal grunted as he placed his hands on the floor, pushing himself up, so that he was doubled over, but standing. Suddenly he lost his balance, causing him to stagger sideways across the room. The raider stretched is arms out, catching himself on one of the walls that hadnt been destroyed.
Eventually the raider managed to drag himself over to the magnum, wincing as he bent down to pick it up, falling involuntarily to one knee. He stretched his arms down, picking up the heavy gun, gripping it with his left hand, and jacking the hammer back with his right...

Dimitri sneered slightly. He wouldnt... He began to raise his finger to prod the gun again, but when Thane's voice rang in his ears he lowered it. "Of course, I will accompany you," he smiled, winking at Syuzanna "If Syuzanna approves," he ignored the gun and sweeped an elegant bow.
A question...and obvious one...entered his mind, "Umm, might I ask, where are you goin?"

John looked up through blurry, unfocused eyes to watch Koko and Zed walk out of the shack. Everytime he went to open his mouth, more vomit would make it's presence known. John closed his eyes, opened them again and called out one word. "Help..." He slumped next to his vomit, unconscious.

It was only a few more minutes later that Koko slid back out from under the bike & tested the brakes, smiling to herself when they released the wheel. She patted the machine lightly, "Well, there we go. Now let's wheel ya outta 'ere huh? Luckily for me the system is quite straight forward when it comes to non-engine controls, but I don't know how long it'll take me to crack the code on your engine... looks like I'll have to wait before I can ride ya huh?" Using the bike to help her, the mercenary pushed herself to her feet, took hold of the handlebars & began to wheel it out of the building; she was happy to find that it moved easily &, despite it's weight, she was able to walk it near to the shack, where she spotted Zed. "Oh hey, like the bike I acquired? Still need ta break the code keeping the engine & other functions locked down, but I've released the brakes & loosened the clutch, so she's pretty easy to move now."

Zed smiled as Koko passed him, forgetting why he'd exited the shack in the first place. He looked over at John momentarily. "Uhh, Koko... you mind wheeling him back onto the ship or something?..." Zed froze as he heared the distinctive click of the raider's magnum before rolling for cover behind a section of wall that hadn't been totally destroyed.

Jackal smirked, taking direct aim at Zed. He snarled as his bullet missed the pilot by millimetres, watching the captain jump behind cover. The raider grinned maliciously, jacking the hammer back once more, firing a second slug into the captains hiding place.
Jackals cold eyes were tired, but held a glint of steely determination. "Oh come on Zed, rookie mistake, you should have had better fore-sight than to turn your back on me..." He paused a few seconds for emphasis. "Raider? Remember?"
The raider pulled the hammer back once more, his bare chest rising and falling rapidly. He watched the pilots hiding spot intently, ready at any moment for a counter attack...

Koko had been about to answer Zed when he dived & she instinctively crouched behind the bike, hearing a bullet skim past not too far away. She began to reach for the rifle slung across her back when she remembered what the pilot had said. Spotting the unconcious John not too far from her she swore then began a crouched run towards him. Upon reaching the injured man she looped one arm round his stomach & placed his arm around her shoulder, beginning to drag him towards the Aiolos. Her recently cauterised stomach was not making this task any easier & it took a fair while before she managed to get him inside.
Propping the soldier up against one of the walls in the ship, the mercenary inspected his wounds before staggering off to fetch the medical supplies. Upon returning she cleaned & bandaged his leg wound as best she could, injecting a dose of painkiller in case the man came to, before standing up again. "Sorry, I can't stay. Hope ya not in too much pain when ya wake up..." With that she was off again, stumbling out of the Aiolos as fast as she could & heading for her previous position behind the bike.
