Mitsuru dropped her sword and grabbed the chain of Devon's Kusarigama. Then held her evoker to her head. "Artemisia!" Her persona appeared and swung it's whip at Devon.

Kanji tackled Kai to the ground and started punching him in his chest. "Comon kid! You're supposed to be the leader!"

Kai coughed up blood after the fifth punch.

Take let out a metallic screech.

Kanji looked up. "Take! Ziodyne!" Take reached up and let a bolt of electricity hit both him and Serion.

Mitsuru stumbled then tossed both the Kusarigama and her sword away. "Looks like you weren't expecting that." She sighed. "Now to finish you. "Artemisia, mind charge!" Mitsuru glowed with a blue light. "The next spell I cast will deal double damage now..."

Kai tried to bring around his evoker, only to get it snatched out of his hands by Kanji. "Sorry there kid, it's over!" He picked up his shield and raised it over his head.

"That's not how this game ends." Mitsuru approached him, eyes glowing. "Artemisia! Salvation!" Artemisia healed everybody, then vanished. "You should always have a back up plan you know." She held out a hand to Devon. "You would have died if I was an enemy."

Kanji tossed aside his shield. "Take, that's enough!" Take vanished. Kanji got off of Kai, "The skates are cool punk, but you should take something else up."

Kai started at Kanji. "Wha?"

Mitsuru smiled. "Tell that to Minato, he ordered this training exercise out of no where for some reason." She walked over and retrieved her sword and returned Devon's weapon. "I really didn't want to do it, but I wanted the chance to see you two in action."

Kanji grinned and pulled Kai up. "I just like to fight, personally."

Kanji looked at Devon. "Oh did you hit the mommy button with him? Oh yeah he can be that mad. He almost killed me when I did it, that's the only time I've ever seen him mad too.

"That would complicate things, Minato, technically, is dead. He died when he became the seal to bind Nyx. When our group, SEES, rescued him, he came back to life. Trying to send him to a shrink would cause all sorts of problems." Mitsuru sighed. "Besides, that's too much pain to go through, Minato....went through a lot. Parents killed by shadows, he had the arcana shadow of Death sealed inside of his body, and accidentally nursed it to call Nyx down to earth."

Kanji waved a hand in front of Devon's face. "What? Do you not comprehend words or somethin'?
