The waitress had been keeping her eye on all of her tables, and the one that was currently being used. She caught the glance and flashed Savage a smile.
Oswald smiled a bit when he caught the glance Savage directed towards one of his waitresses. "It does..." he replied. "I usually ask for a few thousand per file. The information is usually worth the money spent. Of course...I tend to give regulars a bit of a discount."

An eyebrow raised at Oswald's comment. "Interesting. And you would base my possibility of becoming a regular on what?" He hadn't realised Cobblepot had seen the interplay between him and the woman.

Oswald smiled slyly a bit. "Just a hunch." he replied. "I try to make sure that my Lounge is one of the best restaurants in the city...that the establishment is safe for many different business and personal ventures...and...that my staff does their best to accommodate our guests with whatever they wish. Very few things happen in the city that I don't know about. Even less happens within my Lounge."

Savage nodded; so Oswald HAD seen. "Touche... As it turns out," Vandal turned his eyes back to the waitress again as his continued, "I do find this place very much to my liking."

Oswald smiled knowingly. "I'm pleased to hear that." he replied, gathering up the files again. "I certainly hope to see you visit again. I would be happy to accommodate you with anything need." he continued, then paused for a moment. "Is there anything else you wish to discuss? Or would you rather I let you go about your business again?"

"Alright then." Penguin replied with a small smile, then glanced down at the papers in his hand. "A few thousand per file.....why don't we just settle for ten thousand? A few of these didn't have quite as much information as what's usually brought to customers."

"That should be perfectly fine." Penguin replied as he reached into his pocket to pull out a few small cards. He flipped through them, picked out on and slid it over towards Vandal. "That should have the information you need. The money is usually switched from that over to another bank soon after money is deposited into it. Bit of endurance that the money can't be tapped into by third parties once accessed."

"Very sensible of you, Mr. Cobblepot." Vandal Savage was gaining a very healthy respect for how the Penguin did business. "I'll transfer the money now. I think I'll add an extra thousand to it, as a show of goodwill," he added, taking the cards.

Vandal Savage dialed his his bank's number (which he kept on speed dial, to prevent onlookers from getting the number), and began the process of sending the money to the Penguin. Every now and again, he took a glance at the waitress, making sure she didn't think he'd forgotten her.

The waitress kept to watching her tables, just in case anyone did come to sit at one. But...most of her attention had remained on the table her employer and guest were seated at. Both to make sure she was ready if they needed anything...and just to watch the customer. She'd caught him glancing up at her a few times, and gave him a smile each time.
She had absolutely no idea what kind of a man Savage really was...but from what she could tell right now...he was a much better man to wait on than some of the other VIP customers that sat up here to speak with the boss.

As the transaction completed, Vandal Savage said to Penguin, "Go ahead and check on the money. It should be there right... now."

The Penguin nodded and pulled out his own phone from his pocket. It was a newer model, and he really didn't like using it for anything other than making calls. But...checking his accounts was much quicker and simpler on a touch screen. All he had to do was access one of the files he had set up...log in...and...yep. There was more than a couple hundred in his account now.
"Very good, Mister Savage." Penguin said as he exited his files and slipped the phone back into his pocket. "If that's all you require, then allow me to say that it has been a pleasure doing business with you."
