Matt let go of her hand. "You said that you had to attend to some business with the Queen. The girl was lonely, so I gave her a dance. Is that such a crime, Marcie?" he asked. He was really hurt by the comment, but didn't show it. "Ya know what, Marcie, you can just stand here and talk with your own kind...." He turned and walked back to the punch bowl, thirsty again.

Marcie sighed and follow him to where the punch was "I think we need to talk Matt" she said looking serious and garbing him by the arm, she just couldn't leave him go to... well she didn't know watch to think anymore.

Matt ripped his arm from her grasp. "What do you want, Marcie. You obviously don't want me to do anything..." he said lowly, venomously. He got his punch and drank it slowly, his back still to her.

"I might sing you the rest of the song another day, but i think we are quiet late for the dance now" nobody said leading Maria the way he had seen Marcie come from, this time he knew where to go and he didn't want to let go of maria's hand, the problem was... should he cancel the mission or not?

Alex hearing what Marcie said since they were dancing close to where she was stumbled a bit and clinged to Tao, getting a little bit to close to him.

Matt backed up. "Holly s**t..." he said. "Marcie....Maybe you forgot over these years, but we're not family. Do you see freaking rabbit ears on my head?!" he said. He filled his drink and said, "Besides, you're way to old for me...." He walked away. He couldn't let her jeopardize his mission. He headed to the garden.

Marcie ran away before Matt could say anything more... Could this get any worse? lucky she was still sane enough to remember not to go running on the direction where she had seen Nobody. Why was she being so stupid though?

Tao danced with her a little longer and then led her back towards the wall. He was a really good dancer, just not exactly all into dancing. He heard every little detail and emotion in Marcie's voice as she spoke to Matt, but he kept his eyes ahead and stopped back at their original spot. He looked over at Alex and smiled,"You're still in one piece, congratulations.",he said tilting his head.
Dorthy looked over at Rabbit from the corner of her eye and back at her hands. "Excuse me.",she said standing up and walking away quickly. Dorthy wasn't exactly feeling well at the moment.

Nobody walked maria to the ball when he saw the hatter going to the garden " i am sorry mon aomour but i have to attend some business, might we dance later tonight?" he bowed and kissed her hand then retired.
(( okay, Marcie is too busy beating her head on a wall so she will be off for a little bit XD))
