Trinity was about to go straight to her bike not interrupting them, it was obvious she was not interested in her then she paused in thought, Wait... did she just say..."You're like me, aren't you? Well, not exactly like me... your power is different than mine... " her eyes narrowed strange earlier, I thought she was part of the group that were called the Acting Angels... she continues to head toward her bike. She really didn't want to listen to what the girl was implying, or maybe she didn't want to put 2 and 2 together because she knew she still needed him to teach her to user her power. As she picked up her bike and she started to move it, it started to creak. Darn it, it must have been all the weather it endured, it will need some oil...

Lily was startled to see Annie run up ahead of her, then act like she was friends with the man. Maybe it was her way of getting information. Maybe she was just trying to get a confession out of him. She was about to walk up beside Annie when a unknown arm came and grabbed her own. With her nerves already on end, she did what anyone under the sorts of pressure she was under would do. She pulled the small hand gun from her pocket. If there was one good thing about her mother, it was the fact the old bat forced her to get a conceal and carry licence. She was a single pretty girl in a city after all.
Effortlessly she pulled back on the barrel of the raven 25 automatic, causing a bullet to eject from the clip and spring forth into place in the barrel. She had her finger firmly on the trigger, aiming right at the girl with blond hair.
"You really shouldn't just sneak up on people like that." she said in a hushed tone as she came beside the blond. Then she recognized her, she was a reporter! Lilie's eyes widen as she realized this, and the fact she was trying to hear what 'that girl' which she assumed to be Annie was saying. Lily didn't even notice the purple haired girl close by, to be honest she was much more concerned about Annie and the white haired man. Sure, Annie could turn the saliva in his mouth into Acid, but what good would that be if the guy knocked her out first? So, doing the only thing she knew to do, she jerked her arm away from the reporter. Sending a frightening hiss her way.
"You touch me again, you'll never live to see a story hit the air. Now, I suggest you go and find a story else wear and leave my friends alone." she was only being half honest, only one of the current group was her friend and Lily had to protect her from the media right now. It wouldn't be the best of ideas for Annie to be on the first page of the mornings news paper.
Lily walked backwards, her gun still aimed at the reporters frame, she would shoot the woman if it came to it. Due to recent events she didn't know who to really trust anymore. That was Lily's one fault, determination. She already disliked the blond reporter because of her hair color, that and she had sleazily picked up the man. She was nothing more then a concubine to Lily, a mere prostituted out for a thrill, her thrill being a good story to send her name flying the charts. Well, that wasn't happening today.
Finally Lily reached Annie, with her free hand she tapped her shoulder, keeping her face guarded from the man. "I'd watch what you say. A stinking reporter is out for a spin." she said with a nod towards the shadow, where the woman was hiding. She wasn't going to let her win, she wasn't going to let Annie be exposed. Not until Annie was ready for that would she have to put up with it.

Daisy would have liked to claim that it was the first time she had ever had a gun pulled on her, unfortunately that wasn't the case. She had been robbed while in high school, and death threats were nothing new to her. Daisy Sun wasn't about to turn down the chance to find the truth. Many saw her- including no doubt the tall (well compared to most women) brunette- as a prostitute for a story. That was not quite the case: Daisy Sun believed in the truth, and if it wasn't for the world to know at least for her to know.
As she mulled this over she put a hand to her head and sat down on the ground, piercing pain going through her head. It was happening again, her headaches. Taking a deep breath she stood, pulled out one of her expensive migraine pills, and followed them out, "Sorry, for hiding in the shadows. I didn't want to disturb you good people. I'm curious, that is all. Sure I'd love a story- what reporter wouldn't? But as a honest journalist I also know when to keep my mouth shut too."
Holding out a card she added, "If any of you ever want to talk you can call me. I've been looking into the meteor shower for a while now, yes- I do recognize you Miss Soulsmith as one of the injured from the shower. The meteor shower might be old news, and no one would report on it, but the thing struck me odd and I was always a curious sort..." She shrugged. "Anyhow, sorry for interrupting you guys. I should head home, I have an early day tomorrow." The reporter turned, waved and slowly walked away.

"Um... okay," Annie said perplexed staring at the card in her hand. Forcing a smile at Lily she continued, "Thank-you for your concern, but I do think I can take care of myself. I don't need to watch what I say- I'm not afraid of what the reporters report."
Turning she narrowed her eyes, "Anyhow, with madmen running around the city burning buildings down with special powers and kidnapping people, I think that it really won't matter too long on how hard some of us try to hide our powers."
Placing a hand on her hip, she cocked her head at Leviathan and said smiling, all Southern charm, "Sorry, sir... my... um... well Miss Stinson is a friend of a friend. She is mostly harmless, I suppose." Holding out her hand she said smiling, "I'm Annabella Soulsmith, a girl with the acidic will. An' judging by the strange activities around you, you must be a meta-human as well as I am."

Leviathan didn't speak the entire time the fast clashing events happened, a woman pulling a gun on the reporter he took out to lunch, this random woman, thing, asking questions, a coated veil to her words. "Your words hold conviction i reckon." Lev pulled out a cigarette, the same lighting trick from before performed. Lev pulled heavy and deep, making sure to scar his lungs just a bit more. "You smell like trouble." Lev pointed at Annie with an enormous grin, turning his hand into a fist. Lightning lanced over Leviathan's face and muscles, scanning over his form several times in rapid brilliant succession. "I bet you smell it now too, wouldn't ya reckon little lady.." Lev cradled his hands around his cig, letting the ember brighten, the red light revealing his smooth features, his eyes naturally squinted, nose sharp and astute. "Why don't we all get a cup of coffee after i take my friend home." Lev spoke looking absentmindedly away, his hand on Trinity's shoulder now. He squeezed it softly, but let his hand drop back down to his side. "My treat." Lev smirked, pulling on his cigarette once more. The snow began to fall, lazy fluffs of ivory drifting into and out of the shadows.

Gray was looking at Lilith, but was distraced by something in a nearby alley... something promising. He almost reveled at his own luck. The alley was well-lit by an off-ish light and almost flickering with power. You could feel it grow and swell about you. His own problem... would be quenched if dared to show in the midst of anything this strong... and the lack of "pure" dark would reduce it's... his power. He only hoped that the girl he was with wouldn't think he was crazy. Speaking of, he looked back at Lilith. "Hey... I think I see someone I know. Could you, uh, stay close?" What if this power hurts her? That'd arouse a bit of suspicion, riiight? "On second thought..." Gray exclaimed, scratching his head, "I'll bring him to you. Just stay here... or find somewhere free of people... or cars. Something like that." He took off at a brisk pace towards the source of the power, creeping in near the edge, hoping that with the tension arising in the moment that no one would pay him notice. He calmed his racing heart (or tried to) and looked down a ways.
--- On the other sideof the street, a figure in what would be described as a black trench coat glared at the feeble boy making his way towards a stupid choice. He smiled at the thought of him fried, or maybe with a few slugs through his head. A lovely picture... "... but a minor setback." The man finished his own sentence aloud. He cracked his knuckles, a move that would look threatining, if all you could do was punch. The boy was playing the fool with his actions... but managed to keep his punishment away, for a time. Time, biding his time. No matter. Pages from the boy's notes (may they be damned!) flitted in and out of his thoughts. The man shut his eyes and clenched his fists, growling. "You've written nothing they don't know, knave. Everything they don't know. Submit or die, you filthy wretch!" In time... in due time.
--- Just for a proper introduction... meet Gray's inner demon... formerly inner demon. If you've never read the book THR3E by Ted Dekker, you should.

Seeing the reporter leave, Lily quickly ejected the bullet and replaced it back in the clip. She pocketed the gun, taking the clip out of the butt for the time being, she would hate for the small pistol to go off in her pocket or such. I really do need a holster or something. Carrying it around like a gangster isn't going to keep me alive. she thought for a moment. She really never thought she would use the weapon, but something about the blond reporter threw her off, it could of been as simple as the fact she grabbed her unexpectedly. You can't just spring that on a person, especially one scared outta her wits right about now.
"She smells like trouble, yet you look like it." she said dryly to herself as she slumped down a bit, keeping her face obscured from the males sight, luckily for her he hadn't recognized her yet. She then realized it could be she didn't have the enormous black jacket hiding her features like their first encounter. Her face probably looked a bit darker due to her white shirt and light jeans.
At the mention of coffee, she perked up. What had just happend, had the man they had presumed to of been the culprit of the recent building burning just offering to take both her and Annie for coffee? A dumb founded look crossed her face for a moment as she shot a look over to Annie, who was saying something about she being a friend of a friend. I suppose that is correct, I just offered you my clothes, that's all she thought to herself not to mention came with you to find this guy. Yea, friend of a friend alright. No winning with this Brod! she thought to herself for a moment, before returning her attention back to the other two women and man.
"I'm Lily. " she said aggravated, she was perfectly capable of introducing herself, Miss Stinson made her seem like a lonely teacher. She sighed, getting bored already. This wasn't enough excitement for her. At that, her phone vibrated again, she quickly plucked out the small electronic device, groaning at the missed call yet again. "While you discuss our future events, I have a call to take." she said as she quickly stepped back so she could still hear Annie, but her words where mostly mute. "Mom, what is it?"
"Where the hell are you, I've been trying to reach you all day!" came the over arrogant voice.
"Well, mother. I'm with friends. You wanted me to make some, so I did. I also adopted four baby kittens in my waiting. Anything else you want of me, your high-" she cut herself off, knowing that insulting her mother would not put money in her bank account.
"Just answer your bloody phone! Heaven forbid you go sky diving or something crazy!" the old bat spat over the phone, she was actually being nice.. Must be the mention of friends.. Lily thought for a moment before agreeing to be good and hanging up.
then she returned back to the small group. Wishing that there was some way to ease the tension, she sighed. Looking up at the white haired man once again, he still had the back pack she saw on him earlier. Curiosity perked as she examined the small pack, wondering what the small thing could be concealing. That was enough to perk her excitement for the time being. "Coffee is fine with me. I suppose, but that is all up to Annie.." she finally said, not wanting to make her and Annie seems suspicious of anything, hell Lily was beginning to wonder if they where really being suspicious, or if Annie was simply impressed to meet someone else with powers. Totally forgetting that the man has burnt down a building, and almost killed a man. she thought sarcastically to herself.

Gray felt his fingertips begin to gather frost, his power was overflowing... but he couldn't release it. Not now. His efforts were rewarded... he found a tall man with white hair, a blond with a strange... gravity around her, someone who was introduced as Lily, a girl with eyes of green and hair poison purple (a wierd mix), and someone else ( or a few someones) obscured from his view. A large group. He breathed an imvoluntary sigh of relief seeing the gun put away. Thank God. His spear began to form in his hands... how long could he hold his power off?
--- The man laughed at the boy's attempt to control himself, like crossing his legs while he needed to use the restaroom. A juvenile comparison, but still effective. He dared not draw any closer, but instead observed the scene (verging on violence, how pleasant!) from afar. He laughed. Tohave him tangled up with this group... would greatly help the goal.

Annie sighed as she glanced over at Lily, her habits she picked up back in Georgia had stayed with her, calling people she didn't know very well "Miss" and "Mr" "Ma'am" and "sir." She narrowed her eyes at Leviathan, she didn't like him, it was like standing in smog around him, not from his smoking, but from his 'aura' (as Annie liked to call it).
"I can't smell very well," Annie replied coldly, "but I can see and I can feel: I am an artist after all. I may smell like trouble- no doubt with my abilities it isn't surprising- but you ARE trouble. Have you ever stopped to think what showcasing your powers around can do? Not only to others, which no matter how charming you act I doubt you care about, but to yourself too."
Calmly she lifted his large hand from Trinity's shoulder and added, "We can all go together to walk the girl home. Quite frankly I don't trust you. But, no matter what you try, sir, your powers don't scare me. There is no need to show them off, especially to someone who you have no clue what she is capable of. Anyhow, coffee sounds great after we drop off the little miss."

((Did anyone do anything wit Tansy, or is she still at the fire?))
Lilith frowned and paused. "Uh... Sure?' She titled her head to the side somewhat as she watched him from where she stood. She didn't really understand what had happened. Suddenly he seemed well, she didn't know really. She didn't know much about the boy. 'Smooth Lil. Just bring a boy home. Oh, Tansy would be so pissed with you. But what am I supposed to do. I don't have any friends... and well.. I'm lonely' She pouted somewhat as she argued her reasons in her head.

((As far as I can tell she is still at the fire))
Gidget finishes her latest creation and climbs into it. She has to hand it to herself this time, she has made something that will make her more useful in the trials to come. As much as she loves her power it doesn't do much in the way of defending herself, or really do much of anything to help those in need.
She is about to test it when a buzz tips her off. The omni-system has picked up a phone conversation that has a very familiar voice in the background. A woman is talking to her mother, then getting yelled at. This doesn't matter to Gidget much though. She can hear Annie doing what she does best to some man. The conversation is tense, and she doesn't like the feel of what may happen next.
Shane paces nervously as the crews work their way through the door into Valkyrie. He is cursing himself for leaving her alone, knowing full well that she may get a wild hair and decide to start fiddling with something. He thought she could keep herself out of trouble by watching what was going on around her. He was wrong, oh so very wrong.
Just as the torches finish cutting through the door there is a thunderous crash from inside the lab. They burst through to find that there is a large hole in the wall that leads to the facility's helipad lift. Gidget is no where to be found, and there is a prototype recovery suit missing.

*Read my text all the way through next time, as you'll see Lev dropped his hand back to his sides.* Lev listened with calm respect, his eye's half closed from boredom. "Your amusin' to listen to. Like a guinea pig held up by it's feet." Lev turned with Trinity, "Follow if ya like, trust or no trust, I must see this girl home." Lev began down the street, looking back only for Trinity.

Lily kept her hands in her pockets, watching as the white haired man and Annie exchanged conversation. She was curious to see how a coffee break would go with the two, the man being expected of arson and well the other was only on her behalf, and she knew what he had done back at the Pub, the image was still imprinted on her mind. That poor man.. He's going to go through the rest of his life looking like a freak all because this mans ego.. she sighed, wondering why God would allow someone like the man in front of her powers such as he had.
"Guess every man to his own path." she said mainly to herself, cursing herself for thinking aloud. That was one of her most hated features, when lost in thought they came aloud. Good reason to not think she thought to herself again.
Then, as the man announced he was going on ahead, and that if that it didn't really matter if they trusted him or not he had to see the girl home, Lily snapped her head up, looking over at Annie. Was that really it? Where they going to let him get away that easily? What was the point in tracking him down if that was all she was going to do... talk Lily sighed a frustrated sigh, taking a few steps forward toward the leaving couple. With or without Annie's help she was going to get to the bottom of the Dash worth building. This man just couldn't be left to go around burning buildings and people to the ground. It was anarchy! At least in her minds eye.

Trinity was rolls her bike until she was at his side. Then she started to lead the way waiting for Lev to go with her. "Please, I really shouldn't stay out in the dark too long..." there was a worried look on her face. Knowing what had happened earlier today with her own shadow, she felt that she could trip and fall anywhere and she would end up somewhere else.

Crossing her arms, Annie sighed as she followed Leviathan. Her brown eyes narrowed in disgust. She could feel the air heating up around her as she silently fumed, but closing her eyes she regained control of her power. Part of her was itching to punch the man in his smug face at the very least.
Exchanging a glance with Lily, she followed the man only a stride behind him. Did he really think that if he wasn't the only one with powers they would automatically let him do whatever he wanted.
She turned her gaze to Lily and said quietly, "Look I'm sorry about being so catty towards you. I wasn't ready for an 'outsider' to find out about us when I ran into you. Imagine if you had my power, would you really feel comfortable with someone finding out about you when you weren't expecting it."
