Kai relaxed the moment he heard that the new wolf and Garaden and Journey's idea of a longer Christmas than usual. He would have laughed like he usually does at the silliness but his mind was preoccupied with figuring out who the newcomer was. Though, his rare show of bravery was not long lasting as his growl turned into a snort of laughter when he heard Katsuo was hiding from his mate.
"I know all to well the fury of a female. I don't blame ya for wanting to get away." He shook his head and glanced at Journey at her happy greeting and laughed. "I guess I shouldn't have growled... Hi, you're helping us prevent those two that passed by from making Christmas last longer than usually." He joked, relaxing once more into his easy going attitude.
Atreyu listened intently to what Katsuo had to say and stepped forward to stand before him, unsure of what to make of this male wolf. He was very familiar but despite that familiarity, he didn't know if he should trust the wolf or not since he didn't know if Katsuo was in league with them or not.
"I'm sorry to hear about your mate but I'm sure she'll calm down. Girls always do." Female, he thought to himself, he would never understand them. "Yes, we're looking for a wolf that had pink stripes and was purple and a gray wolf. We've been looking for them for a few days now. They've been playing tricks in the house and we've come to put a stop to it.... but, I'm sorry, will you excuse me for a moment..."
Atreyu turned and approached the others and lowered his voice so he could talk to the knights. "What do you all think of what he has told us? Cheshire's scent is running cold and we might need him to help out."

Naito was puzzled what Katsuo was up to. He never knew his personality or what his intentions were so he didn't know what to say.
Balto smiled as he saw that this wolf was friendly. He hoped that was the case since he wondered why Katsuo's mate was angry with him.

Journey shook her head. "If it's really love, she'll gettover it. An' if she doesn't, it could still beh love, but you got some serious butt kissin ta do." She said with a light laugh.
Then she blushed smiled apologeticly. "Soory. It really ain't my place ta be sayin things like tha' ta a stranger, is it." She sat down and decided to let the knights do all the serious talking. She had to get used to not spouting off what she was thinking. A knight needed more control than she had just shown... She raised her paw and gestured to Atreyu and the knights in a 'whatever you guys decide' gesture.
Garaden tilted his head, momentarily distracted by Journey. He shook his head and smirked. "You're one of a kind Journey." He said before turning back forward.
He looked at the new guy, back to Atreyu, and shrugged. "We could at least ask for a little direction. I don't think he's lieing. At least, not a whole lot."
Ivan kept watching Katsuo as he spoke. The white male seemed a little nervous over something. The fight with the mate? Or something else..?
He raised an eye at Atreyu. Ivan was one of those wolves already less inclined to giving his trust to strangers. Now there was this mysterious male, who was still being batted around in his head like a flubber-ball, bouncing non-stop. Who was he?
He shook his head, showing that he didn't like it, but what other choice did they have? "He's our only lead right now.." He muttered unhappily.

Katsuo laughed nervously at Atreyu's comment about Hai calming down. Yeah like she'd calm down. She'd never calm down unless it was to trick him, which she did enjoy doing to him. He sighed heavily as he wondered why he stayed with her at all....... oh yeah cause he loved her and had never met a female who just..... just captured him like she does. He looked over at Journey and nodded. "That's what I'm hoping.... that she'll get over it, not the butt kissing. She'd never let me live that one down." He said shaking his head, "And it's alright. I don't mind you saying things like that. In fact it helps me feel better." He then turned to Kai and nodded. "Well that's okay..... I don't blame you for growling. You never know who's out here in the woods." He said trying not to freak out over some of the comments made. He then looked at Atreyu and nodded. "Sure take your time. I'll be right here." Having a heart attack or a panic attack. Oh god. What if I don't pull this off. She'll kill me...... no she'll give me to Hecate or one of the freaky twins. Or..... HIM. Man am I so screwed! He thought to himself. He began taking some deep breaths trying not to panic. He then noticed Balto smiling at him and tried to smile back. "She's going to kill me when I get back." He whined laying down and covering his head. Why did he listen to her about doing this? Why why why?!

Kai turned to the others and listened to them whispering about something and he shook his head. He heard the end of what Ivan said and understood what they were whispering about. To trust or not to trust the newcomer.
"Eh, I think I'll take the chance." He said to them, hoping they would understand what he meant. He wasn't exactly a wolf that enjoy subtleties or secrets. Kai turned to Journey, laughing again at her words. "Honestly Journey, relax. I don't think there's anything to apologize for. You're right anyway. He does have some serious butt kissing to do if he wants to make it right with his girl. Chocolates man, chocolates work wonders with girls and they usually forget everything when they're devouring it."
Atreyu listened to the others and then nodded his head in agreement.
"Alright then, let's ask for help." He said to the others. Turning away from them, he flashed Katsuo a smile and bowed deeply towards him. Lifting his head to look Katsuo in the eye, he gestured to the woods. "It seems we do need a little assistance in which direction those two males you saw earlier went. Unfortunately, we've followed their trail as much as we can and now we're stuck." He let out a nervous laugh at admitting to having nothing else to do now. "It would be great help if you could help us and, whatever assistance you provide, we'll repay you. As a knight, I give you my word about that."

Balto bowed back in respect. He did wonder what they were searching for pine cones for though.
Naito was still his normal quiet self not quiet sure what to believe.

Journey nodded thanks to Katsou, then glanced over to Kai and smirked. She looked off into the woods. How would they find the tricksters on a steadily chilling trail?
Garaden smiled and walked over to Naito, giving the purple male a playful bat on his shoulder. "So waddya say Naito? Ready to kick some trickster tail?!" He said with a laugh, getting excited about the search.
Ivan stood quietly where he was. There was nothing for him to say or do until they started off, and he was still trying to figure out the gnat on his mind. Who was he...?

Katsuo looked up when Atreyu started talking to him. "You don't have to repay me." He said getting up. No. No repaying me. I hate you knights! Stealing my dad away. And then with what she wants to do. He smiled lightly and shook his head. "No I'm just happy to help." He said with a nod, "Well I suppose I should show you guys where they went." He then turned away from the knights and began walking into the woods. "They headed off this way. If I remember correctly there's a bunch of pine trees somewhere further in here."

(This isn't related to the knights rp)
Meanwhile deep in the forest Moro watched from the top of her rock at the midnight sky. How nice it was since she had gotten rid of Suicune. Now she wouldn't have to deal with him and the wolves she had with him. She was still scared up from that incident and was actually more embarrassed then angry, but she would not show it in front of others.

(( Yeah, we definitely need an "outdoor" rp room xD!! and sorry about the delay guys.... my mind has been a little scattered @___@
I'll wait a bit to post with Tricksters ninja ))
Kai's ears twitched at Katsuo's words and he snickered, shaking his head.
"It's not like we have anything to repay the guy with anyway. We're not exactly rich or anything. Of course, we could sell Ivan's kids to him. You never know how much they'll go for." He joked, looking over at Ivan and noticing his concentrated look and hoped that he hadn't heard him. Sighing, he shook his head. "I don't know why, I feel like I don't want to go into those woods..." He glanced at Journey and the necklace she wore and shuddered.
"As you wish then and thank you again for the help....uh...." Atreyu laughed nervously and twitched his tail, somewhat embarrassed that he had forgotten to introduce himself or ask for their guide's name. "I don't exactly know what to call you. So what's your name stranger?" Atreyu asked, tilting his head at him as he followed behind him.

Naito snapped out of his little pondering moment. "Yeah...I guess." He wondered if he was really that confident, but for some reason he felt a bit nervous almost like something was waiting for them. Nonetheless he shook the thought from his head. "I mean heck yeah!"
Balto looked at Naito and the others then looked at Katsuo. For some reason he was wondering why some random moonlit would want to help out of the blue since it was rare for him to see others helping, but he shrugged the thought off.

Ivan of course did hear Kai. He knew the male was only jesting, but he still growled deeply. "You do anything of the sort and you won't be coming back from this mission. It's easy to get lost in the deep woods you know." His voice betrayed nothing, but there was a glint in his eyes that told that he was less than serious. He shook his head, then shook out his fur, trying to relax a bit for the coming trip into the woods. He needed to be sharp, not distracted by anything. Even the stranger's origin, though he was listening intently when Atreyu asked of his name.
Journey started forward after Katsou, then stopped quickly. Had they really not asked for the stranger's name yet?! Such a basic question! She rolled her eyes slightly. Apparently, everyone was a bit preoccupied to worry about basic conduct.
She looked at Kai right as he looked at the necklace and padded over to him as he shuddered. She nudged him playfully with her paw for the knights and stranger to see and cover what she whispered in concern, keeping it between Kai and herself. "Whatchya feeling Sir Kai? Should we not be going in?"
Garaden frowned at Naito's first attempt, then barked excitedly after the second. "Glad to hear it!" He had hung out with his friend Aria far too much as a pup, and found it easy to trust the stranger after a while. He no longer felt any of the apprehension from before, nor that which some of his fellow knights currently felt.

Katsuo's ear pricked up at the mention of children. He looked at Ivan and tilted his head. "You have kids? That must be nice....." He said trailing off, "I'm sure you have lots of good stories to tell them." He paused for a moment before continuing onward. "So does anyone else here have kids? And are they a handful like I've heard? My mate is starting to consider having some finally." He said stopping at Atreyu's question, "M-my name? I didn't tell you it already? How...... strange of me." He took a deep breath before turning to face the knights. "I'm Katsuo." He said with a serious face. He then turned around and began walking further into the woods. If the others were paying attention they would notice that the birds have stopped singing and the woods were all quiet. They would also notice that some of the trees look dead or had signs of a recent struggle.

Kai lifted his head to look at Ivan and laughed nervously. Sheesh, he was one scary dude sometimes Kai thought to himself.
"Sir Ivan, you know, if you left me out in these woods or killed me you know you'd miss me plus I have children to corrupt, people to see, things to do..."
He muttered something about getting thorns caught in his paw under his breath and jumped when Journey pawed at him. He opened his mouth to tell it wasn't the time for fun in games when, after taking in the change of scenery, he felt even worst. When she whispered to him, however, he frowned and leaned towards her and lowered his voice as well. "I..." He wasn't entirely sure how he was going to say this without it sounding horrible but it was worth a try but he was not, however, going to tell her he had a feeling who the necklace belonged to. "That necklace, whenever I stare at it I feel sort of 'out of it', I guess that's the best way to describe it and I just don't like it."
"It's nice to meet you Katsuo. I'm Atreyu." The purple male said cheerfully. At the question about children and what he said, he laughed. "I also have children but.... I haven't really gotten the chance to be around them as much as I should given the circumstances." He sighed, thinking back to that horrible fight he had had with their mother. Pushing those thoughts aside, he concentrated on being happy again and smiled at Katsuo. "It doesn't seem like having kids is so bad. It looks sort of fun. I'm sure you'd have fun with your own kids if you ever have them."
Lying in the shade of a tree, he looked up at his partner in the crime jumping from tree branch to tree branch looking for what he wanted. Of course, Cheshire had chosen a dead apple tree instead of the tree they needed and he felt like now he was just simply wasting his time. He was agitated, tired, and he missed the only heirloom he had of his mother's. Yes, today was turning out to be swell for him. His ear twitched and he looked off towards the dark woods and frowned. He knew he felt it... the glimmer of his power necklace returning to him. It was close but still quite some distance away that he couldn't tell what direction it was heading.
"Good," He muttered to himself. "A little company to let out some steam. Hey stripes, looks like we might have company soon."
Cheshire looked down at his partner and perked up instantly, a pleased smile appearing on his face.
"It has been such a boring day, I think it's time we went out to play. Are you alright with your necklace?"
"Feh, don't worry about me. It's been hand delivered to us. Come on," He rose to his paws as Cheshire leapt from the tree and landed on his back. For once, he was happy the stupid striped wolf was as small and light as he was to stay perched on his back. "Let's go and surprise our guests."
Cheshire threw back his head and let out a high pitched howl of excitement as the two slipped into the bushes and headed off towards the direction he felt his necklace.
