"Epilepsy?" he then questioned, as he remembered his nightmare "No, I don't think I have that.... I just had a really bad nightmare..." he said not finishing his sentance, because he soon found it too hard to talk, especially about his mother's death. He decided it was better to talk about what the nightmare was about, but he felt they didn't need to know the details of her death. "About... My mother..." he then said, as a single tear fell out of his eye, and went down his cheek.

Kumizu just nodded. He was glad it wasn't anything that serious, but understood the nightmare. At least he knows who his mother is, he thought sarcastically. Still, everyone had skeletons in their closet, and he knew it was best not to pry. "I understand. As long as you're alright..." His voice trailed off.

Danny shifts on the playground, frowning slightly. All of a sudden, she felt rather sad and slightly jealous, or something like it.... or was that just their emotions? She couldn't tell. Danny climbs down from the playground eventually and walks off towards the other buildings, deciding to give them all some space.

"Ya, I'm alright." He said, shaking his head and then closing his eyes for a moment, then opening them again, "So, what to do now?" He then said, changing the subject. "Do we stay here for a bit, or should we go somewheres else?" he then questioned.

Kana's ears twitched as Mead replied, saying he didn't have what Kuzimu had suggested. She breathed out very quietly in relief and inched a little closer, still staying back and out of the way. But as he mentioned he was having a nightmare about his mother, Kana's ears instantly drooped again and she kept silent, biting her lip anxiously, her eyes downcast to the ground. She looked quickly away at his tear, not wanting to start crying herself.
She glanced back at Kumizu as he nodded, tilting her head slightly as he spoke. She mentally thanked Mead for changing the subject and then took a couple deep, calming breaths before jumping to her feet, smiling again. "Alright!" she cried excitedly, hoping she could lighten the mood a little. "I picked the last two places, so it's someone's else's turn now. And... I'm not sure how happy you guys were with my choices," she added, with a nervous laugh as she rubbed the back of her head.

"I'm not choosing where to go." Mead said, before then reassuring Kana "Your choices were fine." he then looked to Kumizu, and said "So, where to next?" he soon after thought 'I just hope it doesn't bring back any bad memories, or bad experiances to any of us."

"Yup. I didn't see anything wrong with your choices." Unfortunately, it was now Kumizu's turn to pick. "Umm... well... I... wait!" He reached into his pockets and pulled out a school map. "They gave this to me when I registered. I sort of... forgot about it." He laughed nervously for a moment, then pushed his nose into the map. "Hey, how about the-" He was about to mention the springs when he remembered Kana didn't like water. "Well, we can go-" The library was rather boring. "How about-" He hadn't set up a dorm room yet; he wanted a private one for himself. "Okay, there's a-" They had already been to the greenhouse.
He sighed. "Well, do you want to get something to eat?"

"Something to eat?" he then repeated, "Sure, lets get something to eat.... Just one thing, Where at?" he then questioned, not sure which way they were going to go to get something to eat. 'What could go wrong if we are just eating? there shouldn't be much to go wrong with that...' "Can you excuse me for a few minutes please? There is something I have to do quickly..." he then remembered, he had been with them for so long, he almost forgot about his serum.

Kana placed a hand over her mouth, trying not to laugh as Kumizu repeatedly almost suggested a place before suddenly stopping again. Her eyes shone with mirth as she watched him, head tilted. As he finally decided, she nodded her head happily. "Ok!" she cried, patting her stomach. "I am a little hungry..."
She lifted her head after Mead asked where to go and inhaled softly, her eyes next settling upon a building. She pointed at it happily, picking up on the scent of food drifting from it. "There's the dining hall," she nodded. "Will that work?"
She blinked at curiously Mead as he excused himself. "Um, ok..." she said questioningly, but didn't actually ask about it aloud. It seemed pretty easy to bring him down and that was the last thing she wanted to do to people.

He looked at the map again. Of course. "Well, on the other side of the campus... anyone mind a little walk?"
He thought for a moment. There were other ways he could get them there, but it, number one, wasn't completely safe, number two, any food they ate they'd throw up later, and number three... he couldn't think of a number three.

"I'll meet you at the Dining Hall." He said, as he looked at the map for a minute, then he specified "I just have to do something quickly at my dorm." he then said, as he waved to both of them, and ran off towards the dorms, so he could get his serum.

Kana shook her head, grinning at Kumizu. "Nope! I don't mind walking." She began shifting in place, ready to get going. Her tail was flicking behind her happily, her ears perked straight and constantly angling themselves to catch any small sounds. She kept glancing at the trees as the wind shifted the leaves.
Her gaze snapped back to Mead as he spoke and she watched him go, head still tilted to the side. After he was out of ear shot, she glanced back at Kumizu. "I wonder what he's doing...?" Then she shrugged and peered over at the map as well, trying to figure out how far the dining hall was from their current position.

Kumizu cocked an eyebrow, but said nothing. "I wasn't really exagerating. It is on the other side of the campus." He sighed again. "Shall we?"

Kana nodded and leaned back again, gazing around. Then she looked back at Kumizu. "Alright!" she grinned, tilting her head as he sighed but not saying anything about it. She hated prying. It always led to negative feelings it seemed, so she simply kept her curiousity to herself; most of the time. She blinked at his cane for a second, wondering if going such a long way would agrivate anything, and then slowly started off towards the dining hall, glancing over her shoulder to make sure he was coming.
[When should we switch to that thread?]

Kumizu folded the map and put it into his pocket. He noticed her looking at him, but before he asked why, she had started off.
Something was wrong. She wasn't bouncy and cheerful, spinning all over the place. She just looked worried; sad, almost. They had just met, so he doubted she would talk about something too personal right now, and he figured that it was. He walked up to meet her, and they headed to the dining hall.
((We can switch now.))
