nahshon Khae Darkmoon nahshon nahshon nahshon nahshon Arriving at a small oasis, Chan started to look for a plant that has a root that when eaten makes the person that ate it gain energy that they might have lost. Finally after some time Chan found the plant he was looking for, and started to dig. Finally getting the root out of the ground, Chan went and dipped it in the water in the middle of the oasis to wash the dirt off of it. Chan then telaported back to where Takara was, Hey Kouchi where is the others? He pointed at the dust trail leading into the wide open desert. "Runa said something about trouble and she and Takara took off that way" Ok well would you like some of this? Holding up the root Chan just cleaned. Kouchi looked at it with a puzzled glance. "What kind of root is that?"

Angel87309 I saw the outline of a person....no....a demon. It was him. I started to cry, "Yes..he is there", I said to Takara and urged the horse faster. I pulled him to a quick stop and jumped off him running to Kang's side. I gasped he was bleeding from his shoulder and seemed to be crying. "Kang...Kang! What happened! What!? WHO!?", I said my body shaking slightly. I stood in front of him afraid to touch him becuass of his injury. Darn it, I can't heal anymore....no.....I looked at him my eyes wide with fear. "Kang...please....I need to get you help....Takara can ride you back to Chan....I will stay here, I beg of you....as your wife...please....go", I said. "Ok Runa, I'll go and get Chan as soon as possible." I said and rode off on the horse. Pushing the horse as fast as it could go, "Come on boy, I know you are tired but we need to get back to Chan." I said and kicked its side.

Continuously crying, I kept my face burried in the sand. My tears quickly being absorbed by the sands, I shook uncontrollably. Though my body injured and my love next to me, I could feel nothing, but the pure hatred I felt onto myself. I hated how Jian said we were related...how I am truly a piece of his soul...It sickened me so... "...Please...kill me...I can't...I can't live like this...I can't go on...being a part of him...kill me...now..." My words flowed morbidly; ruggedly jumping from my voice. I looked at him, horror on my face. "Are you crazy! Kang snap out of it, I don't know what he told you....did to you...but you aren't him, you never will be", I put my hands on his back and bent down on my knees next to. I moved my hand over his back and then around his waist. I then put my other hand onto his. "You can't give up like that....I let go of him and put my hands under his head and lifted it up so I could see his face and so that he could see mine. "Kang....don't leave me like this....when I married you, it was for you....Kang...no one else. You promised....to stay by my side....If I loose you now....I will surely die", I said looking sadly at my love...my life. I didn't even notice Takara ride off.

Khae Darkmoon "Hmm...energy root huh?" he shrugged. "Why not? Who couldn't use a little more energy." Chan cut the root in half and handed it to him, Here you go it has a very bitter taste that turns sweet after a few minutes.

Riding closer to where I thought the guys were, I shouted out to Chan for I thought I saw him there standing by Kouchi, "Chan, chan, Kang needs you!!"

I turned my head aside; tightly grasping onto my shoulder so my arm does not fall off.

Kouchi bit into the root and made a face. It was bitter. It soon became more bearable though as the sweet kicked in. He looked up as Takara arrived.

"You can't.....you can't....", I shook my head and then leaned forward pushing my lips against his. I put one hand on his injured shoulder and applied pressure to help the bleeding stop, and then I put the other behind his head.

He shrugged and offered her some.
"Its a root that Chan gave me. Said its supposed to give energy." He looked at her curiously. "If your friend is in trouble, shouldn't we also be there?"
