Sai regained himself and stood up, leaning next to her. "Are you mocking me?" he teased, splashing some water at her. He turned his head, hearing the shout to. "Don't worry Kaori, someone probably just said something rude to her and she freaked over nothing," he said, trying to convince her. Or someone stole her towel, perhaps, he thought, looking down at the water.

Kaori grinned and shook her head, scruching up her face as the water hit her. She raised a hand, wiping it quickly away. She calmed somewhat as Sai reassured her about the shout and tried to convince herself that was actually what had happened. "Oh, ok..." she murmured softly. That would account for someone shouting 'perv', wouldn't it? Still, she couldn't help making sure her towel was still tucked tightly around herself.

still glaring at him ahe git out of the hotsprings baring her vanges as a worning. she got to the dresswing room and changed into her clothes whe nshe realized she forgot her book. "uh oh". sem ran back t oteh hotsprings and got it, some of the pages were wet. "oh man stressed " she shoo kit out the best she could then left holding the book making sure she didnt mess it up anymore. what a day this turned out to be, being new sucks she tought as she walked out.

Sai put his hands up in defense. "Hey, i'm no perve," he said suddenly, knowing she was adjusting the towel. "And," he added, "if someone comes and tries anything, I'll be sure they never see the light of day again," he nodded. He hoped she didn't have any ideas that he would do anything of the such; but if she did, he wouldn't blame her. Most girls saw guys like that; nothing but perves.

Kaori continued staring at the water for a while, blinking in confusion as Sai suddenly held his hands up. "Ah, I never said I thought you were!" Kaori cried quickly, hoping he hadn't gotten that idea. Her face flushed red at the thought, but she laughed quietly as he threatened anyone else who might think to try. "Well, thank you. You really are a good bodygaurd," she joked, recalling their earlier words.

Sai smiled down at her. "I know, but still; you never know, right? Just thought I had to say it, I guess," he said softly, slightly embarrassed. He laughed, though, hearing her compliment. "Why, thank you very much! And you, Kaori-chan, are a very lovely princess," he winked, laughing some more. He took a step towards her, but suddenly fell backwards, making a splash as his back colided with the water. He sunk under the water, expressionless; he had slipped on the bottom of the spring. How.. clumsy am I? he thought, closing his eyes in semi-frustration.

Kaori grinned, tilting her head. "Why, thank you," she said, offering a small bow. She smiled as he looked like he was moving closer, but she jumped in alarm as he suddenle toppled over backwards. "S-Sai?!" she cried, taking a step forward, but then pausing. She looked around, peering down into the water. She narrowed her eyes, trying to focus and find him. She ended up seeing a shady mass below the surface which she assumed to be him, but the sight made her shiver nervously since it just looked like a wavey dark mass.

He looked over and saw Yume slip inot unconsiousness. It was relativly easy to slip his arm under her and hold her head out of the water. For how long he could hold her was unknown to him at that point in time. He pulled her out of the water, laying Yume on the rock. She would wake up soon.
He stood over her for a second more then looked over at his left deltoid. The gash had healed finally. He moved away a few feet and began to work through the basic forms of taichi that Jangen had taught him as a child. It all came as a rush back to him. He began to work faster, turning the calming movements into a blurring spar with the air.

Sai pushed himself up, breaking the surface of the water. He store blankly for a moment before laughing. "Sorry if I worried you..." he said softly, rubbing the back of his head. "It seems that I slipped on something... guess you should be careful," he sighed. He felt like an idiot for having fallen; how could he fall, anyway? The hand that was still in the water checked the towel, making sure it was still snuggly on; if it came off, there'd be one big problem, wouldn't there?

Yume walked towards Ishimaru, her arm out-stretched. I told you to stay away! Yume flinched, hearing his harsh voice.
Why are you like this? What happened?
She felt the dark aura surrounding him and almost stopped. He was there for me when I was alone, and now I'm going to be there for him. She put her arm down at her side and knelt by Ishimaru.
Ishi...please don't reject me... You know I'm trying to...you know I am. I'll visit you later. Somehow. Just run. Please run. I don't want you to get hurt.
Yume knew he was serious, and she needed to get away. He'd be alright...right? She just got up and started to run. She could hear his footsteps following her, chasing her. She continued to run until she felt him breathe on her neck.
Yume, I'll make you mine.
She was knocked unconscious, and was jolted awake into reality. She started to cry from the reality of the dream, and buried her head in her hands. Those four words rang in her ears.
I'll make you mine.

Kaori stepped back again as Sai emerged, watching his blank stare and trying not to laugh. But when he finally laughed, she couldn't help but join in, quickly stopping herself after. With one hand over her mouth, she smiled at him, nodding. "I'm glad you're ok," she grinned. "Watch your step next time, ok?" As she said this, Kaori suddenly grabbed onto the edge, not wanting to fall herself as soon as she warned him against it.

Sai laughed as she grabbed the edge of the rocks. "You're warning me? Just make sure you don't fall," he teased, "cuz if you fell, I'm not positive that i'll catch you." He was joking, of course; he'd make sure to catch her somehow. Suddenly, he felt a pang in his head, as though he was hit; something was wrong. "Kaori, we should leave," he said suddenly, looking at her.

Kaori grinned, nodding. "I won't," she said with a small laugh. "But what kind of bodygaurd would fail to catch me?" She began playing carelessly with the water, one hand still clutching the edge, and the other trailing its fingertips along the surface. At Sai's sudden words though, she glanced around uncertainly, wondering what had brought that up. "Um, ok...?" she said questioningly, staring around uneasily. She pulled the towel more tightly around herself as if in instinct.

He had zoned out so he didn't realize Yume had awoken from her slumber. He continued to move blurringly, his feet only pivoting, never leaving the small one foot radius circle. His body was tensed and every muscle had tightened. Each vain that was being highlighted made him look even better.
He looked over at Yume and realized she was awake. His hands stopped instantly, small after images of his movement remaining for a few short seconds. He smiled, his muscles still straining as he held still in his state of pause.
You're awake. That was quick. What happened?

[[nani!? hahah. paranoid sharanoid. Do you really want to bargin on Kai and Meggie? xD that'd be an interesting site.. cuz Kaori doesn't know still o.O]]
Sai looked at her, a little worried. If he brought her, there was a chance she could get hurt again; surely by now Mergex must have been sensing something, he must have known by now. He clenched his fists which lay under the water; what could he do now? He'd already outburst what he thought and he couldn't take it back; or could he. He laughed slightly. "My bad, Kaori. I thought I felt something... it must have just been a bug or a headache or soemthing.. sorry for the alarm," he said, hoping it'd work.
