Alcina turned towards Strange's office and gave the woman a small smile. It wasn't much of one though. She didn't seem to be in the emotional state to give a true smile. "It's alright. I am...intimate in the ways of magic." she replied as she sat down on the couch next to the injured woman's head. Carefully, she placed a hand over the woman's forehead to try and get a better idea at what was wrong. The curl around her lips faded back into the depressed line. Well now....this was something unusual. More specifically it was magic. Fairly strong magic...but it was old magic. Given another moment or two to recuperate her own powers, she should be able to break the connection the magic user had over the poor woman. In the mean time, she should be able to offer another sort of help.

A gentle violet glow wrapped around Alcina's hand, and glazed over the Sapphire's form until she seemed to be encased completely in a purple haze. Alcina smiled a bit and stood to be seated back onto the other couch.

A small, sad smile curled around her lips again. "She will be." she said as she curled her legs onto the couch again. She'd messed everything else up in her life...there had to be at least some little things she could do right. Anything she did for others that didn't have some kind of attachment to her seemed to be the only thing that did work.

Alcina's sad smile stayed put, but her gaze seemed to drift. "A really bad day...seems there's been quite a bit of that going around lately."

"Truce..." Alcina replied offhandedly. Then she paused a moment to think. "I suppose getting more help would be for the best"
At least help that was more competent than her currently.


"What exactly happened?" Alex asked, glancing over at the brunet. "Where are we anyway?"

"What happened to Flash?" the other girl asked rather uncomfortably.

Alcina glanced up at the word Flash, then seemed to finally recognize the girl.

// Reaper let her see the note back in Metropolis. She at least thinks that he's missing as well as the others. //

"I'm sure there's one around here." Alcina replied, turning her attention back over towards Rogue. "I haven't really...moved around enough to know where one is at."

Alex huffed a bit and moved to lean against a nearby chair. She still had no idea what was going on. She took a quick look down at Sapphire a moment, then back over at the other woman. "Are you sure she'll be alright?"

"Yes. She'll be fine." Alcina replied. "Her body's mostly healed, but someone has been draining her of her energy. Given her current condition, the draining is making her severely ill. They should be fine though."

Alex huffed and turned to glance back down at Misty, then blinked suddenly and looked back up at Alcina. "They?"

Before Alcina could answer, two things happened to distract Alex enough that she didn't inquire further.

There was a knock at the entrance of the Sanctum. At about the same time, the shadow in the corner of the room Roxanne had used swirled to life again. A moment later, Roxanne appeared with with Warp. She held him up and helped to carry most of his weight as they moved towards an unoccupied chair.

Alex glanced over at them with wide eyes. Mainly because of Warp's current condition. He looked as though he'd been beaten into unconsciousness. For someone who could freeze and manipulate time, how did that happen?

Alcina glanced over at Warp, then back at the door a moment.
Someone was outside. Someone powerful. She didn't sense anything threatening about them, so it was safe to assume that they would be allowed in. Besides...she'd just realized that the other girl was unaware of her friends' 'condition', so now would be as good a time as any to distract herself.

Gently standing from her couch, Alcina carefully walked over towards the door and opened it half way.
