Mathias waited anxiously for Bisenti's response, he was very curious as to what was going on at his position, not that he could do anything about it for the time being.

Bisenti whispered, strain in his voice.
"In all due seriousness Sir there are currently," Bisenti peeked over the undergrowth to the clearing,"Four tanks, a shitload of those little grunt bastards, A ton of those big mothers with the sheilds and cannons, Thousands of those energy sheild guys, and hundreds of those tall split lipped leader guys." Bisenti said with whispered urgency. "The jungle must have ccovered they're advance. Requesting permission to return without immediate disiplinary action." As Bisenti was whispering he removed the personal effects of the four marines to send home, and salvaged any ammo.(there was none)

Hearing this report from Sergeant Bisenti, Lt. Twombley felt a chill go down his spine listening to the numbers of Covenant soldiers. Mathias turned to look over at the others around him.
'Copy that Sergeant...Covenant regiment on route to alpha base? over..'
He prayed in his mind that the Covenant weren't coming up after them, and heading after a different target or more strategic value. They beat back the Covenant once from where they were, he was positive they could do it again.

"Mathias, get two snipers to give him cover. Hell if you don't Ill take one form a lower ranked solider. I also suggest we lay out as many mines as we can. Very quickly as well. Get someone on our six too. It might be a flank." He finished quickly. He thought his suggestions sounded good. "Just a thought Sir"

Mathias looked over, "We're as defended as possible here. But, I want you to personally make sure he makes it back here alive, bring a sniper with you. Hustle Marine." The Lt. ordered with urgency. Dammit where's the major at He said silently.

"Well warn the back side." He looked for a sniper and when he found one said "Marine come with me. Your orders have changed. You give me and Binsenti cover. Take cover where ever, but make sure you have a clear shot" the marine nodded Howie took off down the hill and made a com connection with Binsenti and said "I'm comeing for you. Where are you located?"

Sergent Jenkins picked a silencer off a nearby crate and begunt to screw it on to the barrel of his rifle. "Mathias sir? I think they can use all the help they can get.....permition to help cover them Sir? Jenkins look at the figure of Howie geting smaller in the distance.

After giving Jenkins permission to help Howie, he noticed in the corner of his eye Krisit leaning against a rock, also catching her sigh. Mathias turned fully to face her. "You know, I'm suprised you didn't volunteer for that..Course you probably guessed I wouldn't have let you huh?" Mathias to CPO Kristi with a grin.

"They look like they're massing for an invasion....Wait...whats that?" Matthew Bisenti peered over the bushes at a large and VERY VERY UNFRIENDLY device. "Uhh, sir. You are not going to like what I am about to say. They have these Really, Really, Really Big mechanized bugs? I really don't know sir, but they look like some sort of beetle, Like a scarab or something. There is a glowing green light. Going by gut instinct, I am going to assume its not Lime flavored Jell-O." Sergent Bisenti said, "And Please let me come to you. I don't want the covies to know."

He took cover at a rock. He was well out of covie radar and could see Bisenti. He finally said "Aye sir, but if they fire on him I'm going after him. Alright Bisenti your clear for now. Start moveing back slowly. If they fire at you you throw a granade and run like hell. Understood?"
