While most might be a slight bit suspicious of his hasty request right off the bat, Sibyl didn't hesitate for a moment in responding to him. The beast within her was rather prominent and it was quite often that she off-put other people for they knew she was different from them. She differed from most lycans, having been born with the heart of an animal. She'd never been human and never would be a human. "Ah, you don't like crowds, either. Well, I suppose there's an office that I never use in the back so we can use that. Here, follow me."
She lead the way to the unused office that was merely there for any case where she or someone else might make use of it. Now happened to be such a time and the office light, to her surprise, still functioned and flickered on as if the room weren't abandoned. Her predatorial gait showed that she was a true beast and a deadly one at that as she lead Mikami with apparent confidence, exposing her back to him, a trust exercise to see if he'd try to do something stupid.
Once they made it to the office without issue, Sibyl decided to seat herself rather gracefully and fluently into the rolling chair that was beside an extremely outdated computer. "So," she said from where she had seated herself, "what is it that you're wanting to speak to me in private about, Mikami? I'm Sibyl Black, by the way, beta female of the New York lycan pack."

In any other case, Mikami would leap at the chance to kill prey that so easily dropped its gaurd, but he knew if he dared try anything he would be slaughtered without mercy. As he entered the obviously outdated office he took a second to observe the woman he was speaking to. Though he could feal the beast inside of her, he also found that kind of power attractive. Of course when she said she was the beta female, any thoughts he might of had vanished.
Placeing his bag beside him, he moved the chair next to him aside and got down on one knee infront of her. He kept his face to the floor. "Sibyl........like you, I'am a Lycan. Ive travled many miles to find a group such as yours. Ive come from Thailand to be apart of your pack here in New York. I wish to present myself to you and ask you let me join."

Sibyl's instinct told her the whole ordeal that had to do with Mikami wanting to leap at the opportunity to kill prey that gave their back to him so easily and it didn't cause her to hesitate at all. She was full aware that he knew his place and that if he tried anything that he was smart enough to realize that there would be more than consequences. It wasn't that she was cocky, it was that she was very cautious but she balanced it out with being prepared and allowing others a chance before judging them. So far Mikami seemed like a promising pack member and she assumed that was what he'd brought her here for.
Even though she was the beta, she didn't exactly have a mate. The hierarchy in New York was somewhat odd but she figured she'd take the title anyhow and uphold her posititon of authority despite being fairly young and not having a mate. "From Thailand? Sounds like an extensive journey, if you don't mind, may I ask why you travelled all the way here from Thailand. And yes, you may join the pack so long as you do as you are instructed by your superiors and you work together with your pack and remain loyal to it. Joining a pack is more than just benefitting from other's protection, it's trusting them and in turn, they trust you so don't let us down."

Mikami hated to answer this question. Truth be told, he was hear souly to quench his thurst for battle. But also, he wanted to belong somewere. His last family met there demise by his own hand, not because he wanted to, but because it was his duty in the family to do so.
"I came here for many reasons. I had no love for my home, my family wasnt much better. Especially when I had to kill them to be accepted in my family. It is our family tradition that the first born be taught souly by his parants alone to become a true lycan. When our eighteenth birthday comes around.......we must fight our birth parants to the death to see if we were worth the while. After obviously winning, I had to escape that. I couldnt live the way my family wanted me to. Plus.....there was no way for us to openly quench our thirst for battle over there. I figured I would start over here."

"Hm," Sibyl said to herself as she recollected why she was here in New York without her family, "well I came here to New York not all that long ago. I haven't even been here for a year but I came for a change and to see what other packs were like. My pack differs a lot from yours, we teach our young from childhood the basic lessons of life such as pain, honesty, lies, glee, history and then we eventually train them to become warriors that combat vampires that attack our people. Back home, people knew what we were and what vampires were so we were able to openly attack and transform without anyone panicking but New York's definitely different. As for starting over, I suppose that's a nice thing to hear and what's this about quenching your thirst for battle?

Mikami smirked as he pulled up his hand and flexed it cracking several bones in his hand very loudly. "Ever since my parant, Ive yet to have a good fight. I'am a lycan after all, I do have urges that have to be met. I heard of the recent developemnt here of daywalkers. To tell the truth....I was excited to hear that these vampires have over come that weakness, at least they wont be cowards and hide in the cover of night anymore. Im here to help you and the rest of the pack fight. And who knows.....I might even look for a mate of my own while I'm here. But I assure you.....my strength is yours to command."

|| I'm tired, going to go to bed. See you. ||
"Well we've recently had quite a few more lycan deaths being reported so now is definitely a good time to be having someone that knows what they're doing joining the pack. This way I don't have to train you or explain to you what can kill you. As for daywalkers, I haven't encountered any and I don't believe there are any here any longer. So unfortunately for you, they're still going to hide in the cover of darkness and some of them use the void, which manipulates the shadows. You probably want to watch out for void masters more so than other vampires though you should watch out for the rest of them as well, of course. As for finding a mate, I wish you well on finding one if you decide to occupy your time here with finding one and thanks for joining the pack as well as welcome to the pack."

Mikami got up and gave a sharp look at her with his red eyes. They were almost challanging. "Thank you for the information of those void masters. I will keep a sharp eye out for them. And thank you for allowing me to join. But I must ask......is there any place here I can sleep?" He said stretching himself out a little.

Sibyl's lavender eyes continued to stare at him, almost daring him to challenge her authority. She held herself back yet again, her instinct thrusting forward to try and wipe his challenge off of his face, not to mention to get him to stop staring at her. However, though she did take a step forward, it was a controlled step and beyond that step forward nothing more came of it. "Not a problem. As for a place to stay, you can stay at my place if you want. I have two places and you wouldn't have to pay rent but you'd probably want to get an actual bed."

Mikami smirked at the offer. The chance to be sleeping near the alpha female of the pack was somthing that didnt come around everyday. He saw her step forward trying to knock him off his high horse, but he wasnt about to let that happen. He stood up infront of her keeping his stare on her."Thank you, I will take you up on that offer. I dont take up alot of room and if you have just one extra pillow, that will be enough."

Apparently Mikami had misunderstood since Sibyl had meant that she had two separate apartments. She had one that was just a block down from Club FM and one that was in the Highrise District so Mikami sleeping close to her wasn't exactly going to happen. It was highly unlikely to happen seeing as he was challenging her and if someone was challenging her right off the bat then she wasn't sure if there would be any genuine trust between them. No one slept close to Sibyl, it was just a habit of sorts that she'd naturally deveolped early on in life. She hadn't liked strangers or even her own pack members sleeping too close to her.
"Not a problem. I have a place in the High Rise District that you can have. I'll pay the rent for you so you won't need to worry about that, all you'll really need to worry about is a bed or in your case, a pillow. I'm extremely territorial so I'll ask that when I take you there that you not go into my room there. Even if I'm rarely there, I don't like people in my room. Trust me, I've got nothing to hide but I hate other people's scents mixed with my belongings, it's weird and discomforting. I have a guest room that you can stay in and I stay at my apartment that's just a block down from Club Fm so you'll have the place to yourself."

Mikami nodded and picked up his bag."Well, I make it a habit of only staying were my scent is. Plus....I doubt I would be foolish enough to go into the marked area of another lycan. I would would only do that when I know I could beat them. But of course I can't beat you........yet." He almost whispered the last part as he slung his bag over his shoulder.
"Well, could you show me the place? Id like to get settled in and start marking my room. I'd also like to learn the layout....just in case."

"It's good to know that you're not a fool, the last thing we need are fools these days. We've lost many lycan casualties and a recent one was because of his foolishness and recklessness." Sibyl was referring to Ceon, the entire reason her human emotions had been jump started and kicked in. All they were doing now was giving her a head ache and confusing as well as scaring her so that it was more difficult to focus. However, on the exterior she seemed calm enough and she still reeked of confidence, deadliness and grace and she proved that when she heard his almost whispered comment and turned, instinctively swiping at him and growling at him. She hadn't intended to swipe at him but it'd ended up happening anyhow. "Confidence is good but overconfidence makes you a fool and ultimately gets you killed. You'd do well to learn your place with haste."
"Of course I can show you the place and you can mark your room as much as you want. As for the layout, you can go anywhere you want except my room for reasons that I've already explained to you. I'm assuming that you're wanting to head over there right now?" She was rather tense now, still calm but there was a tenseness in her shoulders and posture that was evident. She wasn't frightened or threatened by Mikami, she wasn't even being angered, it was just her instinct putting her on alert and keeping her on alert.

Mikami smirked at her instinctive swipe and growl. He had expected as much from her after what he said. He was glad to know she was sharpt at the very least. He could tell there was definatly more to her then meets the eye, but he decided not to peer into that yet. Instead, he would make something else known as they began to leave. He walked right beside her, his still un shaken gaze on her. "Your quite instinctive. Good reaction to......"He leaned tward her ear slightly for the next part. "That's somthing I truely find attractive in a mate." He had made it evident that he was and would challange her, but he wanted her to know he was at least attracted to her.

In her current state of mind, her instincts were growing increasingly hard to control since one minute she was listening to Mikami and the next she was thinking about something else that was troubling her that wouldn't normally bother her that much. It was definitely hectic and in her moment of distraction, she'd actually forgotten to hold back her instincts and they'd acted of their own accord, not that her instincts were a bad thing but they certainly didn't assist her to fit in with the general population. However, right now it wasn't critical that she fit in since everyone here knew what she was so it made it all the more difficult to hold back.
His stare was really beginning to call forth her instinctive side and her eyes turned from lavender to amber as she spoke to him. "I was born with my instinct and I was raised to trust it. More often than not, it's right and it's spot on when someone's telling me a lie." As soon as he leaned toward her head, she growled and forced him away by physically shoving him. She shoved him fairly hard, hard enough for him to slam into another lycan and knock them over. "Don't you ever get that close to me. There's a reason I'm beta and it's not because I'm cute and fuzzy." That entire statement was more than a statement, it was a threat that her instinct would follow through with.
She didn't bother to apologize for slamming him into someone else, she didn't even pause to look back to see if he was alright or if he was still following her. Sibyl knew well enough that he'd recover from her forceful shove and that he'd line himself up again, either behind her or beside her. If he walked behind her then she'd accept that but beside her and in front of her were offensive. He was no equal to her, he was not superior to her, he was under her and he'd be best to start acting as such.
