Kana nodded her understanding, smiling broadly still. "Oh, ok!" She laughed as he said it might actually be Chinese, but didn't comment about it otherwise. She just continued trailing by his side, eyes upon the building now as they approached. She blinked at his last comment. "I've met a few people, but I haven't seen any of them in a while," she admited. She glanced around as if hoping to find one, but didn't so she looked forward again towards the mall. Her tail was flicking around happily, ears perked straight.

Koichi nodded his head. "I have met a few, too. All the same, though, we needa drag some people along with us, right?" he laughed, "and they should be pretty good friends, or dragging them won't work!" He didn't mean they'd literally drag them, but if they weren't good friends, they'd probably just shrug off the idea of going and not go at all. They walked into the mall, though, as Koichi just looked around; everything seemed normal. "Now, we just have to find the food court," he nodded, starting foward toward the escalator; perhaps, though, she'd like the stairs better?

Kana paused for a moment. "Well... I know three people well enough that I think they'd come for sure," she nodded and then entered the building. She gazed around, eyes seeming to take in everything at once. Her ear twitched at his words and she grinned, tapping her nose playfully. "I can find it if we get lost!" She didn't think of the idea of using a map, as she never relied on them. She always used her nose to find her way around. She followed him to the escalator, a slight bounce in her step as she moved. She watched the moving stairs drawing closer as they approached, fighting the urge to try running up the down one.

Koichi laughed. "I know a few that might come, although I'm close to only one of them," he sighed. He stepped onto the escolator, turning around and watching Kana. "I doubt we can get lost finding it," he said somewhat ashamed. "It's just... so big you can bearly miss it," he admited, hoping he hadn't shot her down in anyway. He knew from almost fact that most food courts were upstairs and in the middle of the building, or in the middle of a buisy area; they'd just have to follow the smells of food, probably.

Kana blinked, ear twitching as she caught his sigh, but she didn't ask about it. She just stepped onto the stairs after him, hand darting out to cling to the railing. It always caught her a little off guard at first, to find the ground moving beneath her. But now that she was on it especially, the urge to try moving down and against it was even stronger. She still somehow made herself stand still, though her tail was swishing rapidly behind her. "Ah, you're right," she nodded, glancing back to him after a moment. "I just like being able to help, if I can, and finding places is something I'm pretty good at." She smiled rather proudly as she recalled an even from the last time she visited here. "Did you know there's a gun store here?" she asked, head tilting. "I held someone find it by following the scent of gunpowder." She maintained the proud smile, resisting the urge to grab her shoulder, which suddenly let out a painful throb at the memory.

Koichi laughed softly. "You wouldn't expect a school of all places to have a gunstore in the mall nearby... although, I guess it's expected since a lot of people use them as weapons here," he said rather ashamed of his classmates. "Well, then, looks like Kitty is a first rate helper; I'll remember that for one day when I can't find something," he teased, wondering what it'd be that he couldn't find. Probably something in your room, the voice laughed, After all, that's where everything ends up lost for you... Although, I don't think losing stuff counts, it mocked. Koichi reached the second floor and stepped off the escalator, waiting with a broad smile for his little sister.

"Yeah, I don't like guns very much..." Kana murmured with a small shiver, but she quickly shrugged it off. "But yes, you can count on me!" she cried, giving him a thumbs up sign and instantly recovering from her small wave of fear. Her ears had flattened back for that instant, but now perked up as brightly as ever. She saw the end of the stairs arriving and bit her lip, hopping over that last step. Getting on and off these things were the most annoying part for her. She always imagined getting her tail or feet caught inside, since she didn't wear shoes. But she pushed the thoughts away and hurried after him, smiling happily still.

After getting off the stairs, it was lucky for them the food court was right in front of them. "Well, we didn't have to look to far for that, did we?" he chuckled. He started towards the ramp that decreased the elevation of the foodcourt only slightly from the second floor. It was somewhat buisy, and Koichi grabbed Kana's hand so they wouldn't get seperated. "Just... stay close," he said, pardoning them through the crowd; the Japanese place was at the end of a line of food places.

Kana shook her head. "Nope!" Her eyes darted around the people everywhere and her tail curled around her waist almost as if it was instinct. Crowds still made her nervous, especially when she didn't know the people. She blinked, jumping slightly as she felt Koichi grab her hand. But then she nodded, smiling again as she walked close beside him, eyes still darting around warily. She tried to avoid people as best she could, and bowed low with an apology each time she touched someone, no matter how lightly. Her ears flattened against her head slightly as she moved, holding his hand tightly.

Koichi finally made it through the bundles of people on lines and wandering through to that one stand. The area of the Japanese place had a line to the counter, but there wasn't as much of a crowd trying to get through. "Well, just read the menue and tell me what you want when you figure it out," he said simply. He already had scanned the menue- the resturaunt had a branch in tokyo, too- and figured he wanted some teriyaki chicken with the fried rice and a small case of sushi for the two of them; mixed kinds, too, so she could taste them.

Kana blinked, eyes roaming across the menu slowly. None of this was really that familiar too her, so she was at a loss for a few moments. Then she slowly turned to face him, head tilted slightly. "What about... sesame chicken?" she asked uncertainly, tail unwinding from around her face and resuming it's constant flicking behind her. Her ears perked again as well, but her smile didn't return just yet. She'd turned back to scanning the menu again, trying to fingure out if that's what she really wanted. "...and lomain?" she added tentatively.
[I can't spell it. xD;; It's those noodles though, I think. xP]

[...i can't spell it either, so don't worry. looks right, though]
Koichi looked over at her, taking a step foward as they moved one of the customers down the line to wait for his food while they made it. "Yeah, that's fine; i'm getting some sushi, too, so you can taste it," he smirked. They didn't have to many people in front of them, but it was still a slight handful. "Take your time, though; if you have a question you can just ask, know that," he said, looking at the amount of people in front of them.

Kana stepped up after him, glancing at him as he mentioned getting sushi. "Eh?" she blinked, pausing for a moment. Then she slowly smiled again. "Well, thank you very much," she nodded, bowing slightly out of habit. She knew that if it was raw fish, there wasn't much of a chance she wouldn't like it, though she wasn't really fond of the idea he was buying all of this with his own money. She slipped a hand absently into her own pocket, biting her lip as she felt how much she had. It really wasn't a lot, so she shouldn't be arguging. It just felt odd suddenly being so spoiled. At his last comment though, she pulled her hand from her pocket and smiled thankfully up at him again, nodding her head once more.

After what seemd like a good ten minutes, there was only two more people ahead of them. "Well, I hope that was your final answer, because it looks like we're going to be up soon," he chuckled. He was bouncing on the balls of his feet, going up and down, back and forth, waiting for the line to gone in front of them. "What do you want to drink, anyway?" he asked, realizing he never had asked; he was fine with iced tea, but he didn't know what Kana liked just yet, only having been with her for less than a day.

"It was," Kana nodded. She paused for a moment, deciding what she wanted to drink and hesitated for a second before speaking. Then she broke down and said the same thing she always did. "Do they have Sunkist here?" she asked, shifting slightly in place, almost restlessly. It was her favorite drink, and everytime she was asked, that's what she replied with. It was probably amazing her teeth weren't died permanently orange or something. She grinned slightly as she saw him bouncing in place, somewhat relieved she wasn't the only one who couldn't stand still. Though, she was like that all the time and she'd only seen him do it now.
