"Flames, yeah. Like I said, I was caught off guard," she said throwing a quick warning glance to the others. Merlin kept examining her confused. There was no sign of burns or any other type of fire damage.

"Are you sure it was flames, Anna?" he asked raising an eyebrow at her. She returned the gaze with her own unsure one. She didn't want to lie anymore, but she had no idea if it was the wisest thing to reveal the truth.

"I'm not exactly sure what it was," she finally said. "We should ask Hotaru when he finally comes back."

((I'm ready at anytime to give a high five.))

Leon sighed and looked at Axel/Italia. "Axel huh.....I remember him being a nobody....how'd you end up in her body?" He glanced over at Merlin.

Hotaru laughed lightly. "I could really get used to this.....let's see how everyone reacts...." He smirked, and started moving at a more human pace than before, randomly throwing waves of energy around, making sure to keep them aimed higher than the roofs. "So much power.....and all I have to do is talk to them for more.....tempting..." His smirk became a wicked grin.

((*Hotaru looks at King* ......*smack* I don't have anything to say to that.....*smacks king again* Hey, Ichy! High five time! *raises hand for a high five*))

((*hotaru shrugs* Meh, I'm sure Anna wouldn't mind me high fiving someone else.))

Leon sighed. "As far as I know, and I say know, because I've already said I know the kid is hiding something, fire is all he can do, well, that and sword play...."He gave a shrug, and looked out the window. "Though the fact that those are getting closer kinda bothers me.....Yeah...I'm going to make sure whatever is doing that, doesn't get in here....if I can.....As he finished that, he pushed himself off the wall, and started towards the door.

Hotaru merely kept swinging his blade at the same leisurely pace. "I sure don't remember Merlin living this far.....ah.....there it is....." Merlin's house had finally come into view. I wonder if anyone will come to say hello......He gave a wicked laugh, loud enough to be heard by the occupants of the house, as he loosed another arc of energy, cutting into the ground in front of all the houses, tracing passed Merlin's.

((Meh, as long as she doesn't start lecturing you, or smack you, like so *smacks king* you really don't have to worry))
Leon just gave a shrug. "Ah, well....I don't think you'll have to wait too long....." He turned as he watched the wave of energy rush past. "Yeah....whoever is doing that is really close......" He gave Merlin a worried look before walking over to Anna, and helping her outside.

"AH, Leon! Just the man I was hoping would show up to say hello...." Hotaru stopped moving, and gave Anna a strange look. "Though I don't think you should be moving around in your condition...." He shook his head. "Doesn't matter....as long as you don't get in the way, you wont be hurt." He gave a light shrug, as he eyed Leon. "So, I have a feeling you'd remember this power......Squal." He smirked at Leon's sudden surprise.

Leon's face twisted to show the surprise, and readied his weapon. "Hotaru, if you're at all in there....you better snap out of it...."

((*king rubs his head* I just want to know why I'm being used as an example here....though I would LOVE to see a certain hot head lecture someone.....))

((*hotaru laughed* I suppose I can come across as an idiot sometimes.....but meh, doesn't really bother me.))

Hotaru nodded. "It is me Anna, the me you've seen is me keeping this power hidden. But seeing as how I'll be leaving to save the worlds.....I might as well tap into it, and make sure they know I'll make sure they stay safe this time...." He looked at Leon. "And unlike that moron Sora, this time, will be the last time they are ever threatened." He smirked.

Leon looked at Hotaru, then turned to Anna. "Go inside, let everyone know to stay there till I come back in. I've dealt......this power isn't something you should deal with..." He turned back to Hotaru. "If you know my name, then you know that I can't let that power slide, or exist..... He called out to the Merlin. "Keep everyone in there safe.....it's Hotaru....

Hotaru just laughed again. "You can't let this power exist....you amuse me Leon.....your darkest secret....let's see how helpless you'll be this time around..." He tilted his head, and lifted his keyblade. "Just because you're my teacher, I'll only use a fraction for this first blow. If you want to continue, you'll face my full power." With that, he dashed to Leon's side with inhuman speed, and slashed. The resulting wave of energy paled in comparison to the ones he was throwing around minutes earlier, but stronger than the ones that slammed into Anna.

((Ouch.....everyone's picking on me.....*kicks the ground* Though ex's are fun to pick on.))

Hotaru shook his head. "Pathetic Leon....though I'm surprised you're still breathing....." He turned to Anna, and shook his head. "Stay inside, Merlin should be able to shield you from the energy." He picked her up easily, and took her inside, glancing at Merlin. "Shield this house, as soon as I leave. I promise not to step foot in here until I've finished with Leon." He set Anna down, turned around, and walked outside. "Impressive..."

Leon had barely stood up from the last blow. " So...you aren't the one who did that....but..." He was cut off by Hotaru grabbing his throat.

"Leon.....I told you if you wanted to continue after the first blow, I wasn't going to hold back." Hotaru tossed him into the air. "Don't die from this one. I'd hate to be welcomed back..." He muttered the last bit, as he loosed another wave of energy directed at Leon. "That was half my full power Leon. Try to survive. Your death here would just be boring." He gave a sigh as he watched the wave travel towards Leon.
