Sapphire paused for a moment, then looked up at him. "No...but I could probably make something similar." she replied.
A few long, solid blue strands solidified in the air between them. The two wrapped around each other until they formed something akin to a pin. At the same time, she kept trying to keep the woman wrapped up in her webbing, and keep her from setting anything else on fire. Namely them.

C.J. smiled as he got the "pin" from midair. "Thanks, sugar. Now let's getcha out. Just mind the kids." he said as he fumbled with the pin, then went for the lock on one of the shackles, whistling "The Promised Land" by Chuck Berry . . . but more Johnnie Allan's version.
"You're on youtube again, ain'tcha?"
Yup.
"Mind looking up 'how to pick a lock with a hairpin' for me real fast?"
What for?
"I dunno how!!"

Misty nodded, but kept most of her attention on keeping Mary occupied as much as possible. "The sooner we get out of here, the better they'll be." she replied quietly.
As Mary tried to slash and burn the webbing away, the door to the room began shaking as someone tried to break into it. More guards likely.
...big ones.
...with....something flashing behind the door.
====================
Kingpin sighed before looking to Yuriko. "It seems Sapphire's friend is more of a problem than I would have liked."

C.J. looked up at the causing ruckus. "Hope the writers manage to pull a hail mary . . . got it!" he growled as he worked with the hairpin, managing to pop the cuffs loose one at a time. To say he was struggling was an understatement. Eventually, he was on the last one and the noise got to him so bad, he pulled out a megaphone from nowhere and looked over at the oncoming guards and Typhoid Mary. "SHUT UP!!!!" he hollered through the megaphone at the bunch.

Typhoid winced as she sliced through another bulk of webbing, grimmacing and turning her attention towards CJ.
There was a long pause behind the door after CJ's outburst. Then, the door was blasted from its hinges with a large bolt of blue lightning. On the other side of the door stood a bald, skinny man with streams of lightning dancing around his figure. As he stepped inside, another man sparking yellow lightning followed in after him. He was dressed in a green and yellow costume with large lightning bolts covering his mask.

That split second was all C.J. needed to finish picking the last lock on Misty's shackles. He looked up at the three newcomers and over at Typhoid Mary. Sighing heavily he growled, putting the megaphone down.
"Now who are YOU guys?!" he asked as he leaned on one of the machines, pausing to adjust his cowboy hat. Well, for a lack of a better word, this SUCKS. he thought.
Well, look at it this way. At least it could be a lot worse.
"How? Fat Boy getting off his lard a** and coming down here to sit on me?!"
No . . . I was gonna say you could be killed before the mission's over, but you know? That works, too.

And he's still got Hydro Man, Sandman, the Enforcers, and a few others that could have come with the Electro duo.
"We're just here to clean things up." the bald one replied with a smug little smirk. "Things are taking too long down here, so we're just going to burn you to a crisp and get it over with."

"Oy VEY . . ."
C.J. leaned up against the machine, eyebrow raised. "Look, pal. I got protection by the writers. I theoretically can't die 'til you ask him permission. So make a road, Baldy, we're outta here!" he growled. Then looked back at Misty. "You cool with that idea?" he asked her.

Misty looked back at CJ, her expression rather tired. "Please...before their boss actually does come down here." she replied. Or...before any of them realize that it'll only take one punch to KO her.
Electro, both of them, just exchanged glanced before looking back at the other man. The smug grins still in place. Without another word, they became engulfed in electricity, and sent several bolts towards the man and woman.

"In that case, try to go up. I'll cover you." he growled, then kissed her cheek seconds before he got hit by a lightning bolt. Grunting when he got hit, he got in the way of BOTH shots, to protect Misty from getting hurt.
"I don't know WHY you were complaining about not getting the credit. This 'taking the blows for a loved one' ploy HURTS!!!"
Hey, this is only the Fourth or fifth time you almost died for her.
"ONLY?!"
I could be off. Let's see. There's when you rescued Misty from crazy witchy woman, Gossa-something at that Halloween Party. Eluding the Police shootout and chase, Nearly hit by a TRAIN, Almost got permanently stuck in a ventilation duct, almost chopped to Bits and now electrocuted. Most of those in the main forum.
"Oh, GOD. I've become Kenny from South Park!!!"
Meanwhile, "Kenny" was remarkably holding up from BOTH bolts, using his belt buckle as a lightning rod, getting the brunt of the blow still took its toll.

Misty's eyes widened as the both bolts struck CJ. She expected him to be....not so alive as the lightning enveloped him. As well as the two men who had tossed the bolts at him.
But the man was still very much alive.
With the hero's break in consentration, Mary was finally able to break free of the webbing. She turned and sprang towards the two with her swords drawn.
Misty looked back at her and glared. Several strands found themselves around Mary and flung her backwards into the two villains by the door.

C.J., dazed, and sparking, shook off the damage. "Boy am I gonna feel THAT later!" he said, coughing up a little smoke cloud. He then looked over at the three foes by the door.
"Now y'all gonna let us out? Or do we gotta get TOUGH?!" he asked.
Uhh, C.J.?
"Yes, Writer?"
Those bolts charred you to a damn CRISP!! You are one deep-fried dude. How the HELL do expect to get TOUGH on them?!
"Take it easy, man. We got this . . . unless you're magically gonna kill me off. I really hope you don't do that. Please?"

The two Electros glared at the man and shoved Typhoid off of them. Both instantly got to their feet and sent another round of lightning at him. They were going to fry this man no matter how many times it took.
Misty quickly but carefully slid herself into a crouched position on the bed and lept for the broken ceiling. Wincing as she caught it and crawled her way inside. A chunk of the ceiling exploded not far from her as a bolt blasted through and into the room above them.

C.J. smiled as Misty made it to Safety as he dealt with another powerful blow.
"That all you two got?!" he growled, fighting through the pain to get past them and out. He knew as long as they were going after HIM, that was one less villain going after Misty.
"If I manage to survive, the next mission oughta be a BREEZE!"
He managed to get close enough to the two Electros and smiled, some weird, insane logic went through his head. Perhaps he could try to short THEM out using HIMSELF to complete the circut! Wait, Benoit, that won't work. Use something that isn't YOU!
"Whaddaya mean?!?"
Helloooo?! Typhoid Mary?!
"OOooooh."

Well, his plan partially worked. The two Electros were utterly focused on frying him. Typhoid, on the other hand, wasn't being paid to let the girl escape. She headed towards the broken ceiling, and mentally began tearing the ceiling apart to try and get to her.
