Mark nodded as he listened. "Yes I know, but I only came to this realm to find a female vampire and bring her back to my father's kingdom to take over his land." Mark said feeling a little different from Kurenai.

Alyx held up her hands, asking to hear no more, for a moment, "I understand you helped Kurenai, and you've been teaching her... But Kurenai... Do you really want to become his mate? If you don't I can make a few phone calls and find someone else to teach you. Someone who won't insist that you mate them..."

Mark looked at Alyx. "I haven't taught her everything I know yet, but if my brother finds his mate before me. He becomes the king before me." Mark said wanting to not waste his time.

Alyx shot him a glare that could have killed small animals, "I don't care about you and you're brother, the two of you won't change my family's job, since it was given to us before even your father was born..." She paused looking a little unsure for a moment, "Probably. What I care about is Kurenai's happiness, and freedom of choice. Even a Vampire has a right to choice."

Mark nodded but disagreed. "I have to leave soon to return to my father. I'll be back in a few days." He said as he got up and looked at the moon.

Mark looked at her. "I can't stay in this realm forever. I have to go back or my father will be upset with me. He is very old and needs my brother or me to take over the kingdom." Mark said as he stared into her eyes.

Alyx stood, smiling, "Kurenai... If you want to go with him... How can he stop you?" She grinned putting her sword back in her belt, "After all, life and death, is about the discussions you make for yourself, not the ones others make for you."

Mark nodded in agreement. "If she does want to come, what about you Alyx? Would you be interested in meeting my parents?" He asked her.
