Ciara sighed. Aleski didn't understand the problems of being a witch. "They would try to kill me, more than likely," she said quietly.

"Oh." Aleksi said looking down. "I'm sorry, I didn't know that they hated you like that." He forced a smile, "Well maybe everyone wont recognize you." He said.

"We'll see." Aleksi said smiling back. His smile was interrupted by another jolt of pain. He sighed deeply. "It might take a while to get there if this persists." He said.

Ciara was worried for a moment. "Do you think it's anything serious?" she asked.

"I'll have a scar." Aleksi said holding his head in his hand. "But the pain will fade with time."

"No no. I understand." Aleksi said waving his hands in dismissal. He managed to stand shakily. "Neither of us are healers. I must heal the old fashion way."

Ciara moved to help support Aleski if he needed it. "We should get going as soon as you are able," she said.

"I have to get out of the sun." Aleksi said. "this metal skin is really heating up." he hoped he wasn't hot enough to burn Ciara when she grasped him.

Ciara nodded and found a dune close by in the shade. She led Aleski to it.

"Right..." Aleksi said quietly. He slipped out of Ciara's grip and sat down in the sand, grunting as he went down. He placed his head in his hands. "I finally did it..." he mumbled.
