Tokeru smiled. "I told you, if you didn't understand, just hit it. It's magical."
Tokeru watched Edith's reaction as she studied the bustier, he tried to memorize her smile, the glitter in her eyes as she looked at him, her magical laugh. It made him happy just to be around her.

"Okay okay," she said with a smile, "keep your pants on I'll hit it in a second! Geez!" She then hit it and as she had assumed, it somehow deflected her blow and actually hurt her hand a little. "That," she said staring at the bustier in wonder, "is so ******** awesome! Stylish armour has finally been invented! You are a genius! My hero!"

Tokeru smiled as Edith looked in wonder at the bustier. He snuck up behind her and wrapped his arms around her stomach. "Told ya."
He gave her a quick kiss on an unburned area of her neck. "it'll even deflect bullets, and it's fireproof. Theres also a pair of boots to go along with them, but I think i forgot them in the workshop, along with Simon's sword. Now my little temptress, what do you think of your gifts?" he asked, still holding on to her, whispering in her ear, pulling her towards him and pressing himself against her back.
He placed his mouth beside her ear, resting his chin on her shoulder. "Will you wear them all the time?" he whispered sensually.

Edith smiled as Tokeru hugged her from behind and sneakily pressed his body closer and closer to her own. It was giving her chills thinking that he did not have a shirt on, making her regret putting hers on. "Really? This thing is like the ultimate armour. How much did it cost and where the hell did you get it? What's it made out of?"
Yeah her questions were rude but Edith was not the most polite person on the face of the earth, never had been, never would. As Tokeru asked her his question she smiled mischeviously, bringing her hand behind her to gently stroke his cheek. "Of course I will. So long as they aren't bloodied. It'll be like you're there protecting me. Like a guardian angel... Wait, I like that name much better than Tokes... Guardian Angel, yeah." She smiled softly at her name for him, it suited him well.

Bridget stopped at Sanchez's room and knocked on his door. "Come on in
Bridget." said Sanchez. She opened the door and entered; the light's were low and looking around around the room she was taken aback by how well
she could see in low-lite, but she had a good idea where this gift came from.
"You up for something down and dirty?" she asked. "I'm getting a little tired
of just sitting around and we are Hunters you know....so let's hunt." So Bridget went back to her room and got dressed for evening wear as Sanchez did too. They each came out with thier personal weapons and then went to the Armory to get some MK8 body armor and donned them.
They covered the armor with oversized 'Dusters' to conceal the armor and weapons. With the gear they had they went up thru the elevator and out the Chapter House's door to thier waiting car. As usual Sanchez was the driver and Bridget rode shot-gun; and they headed off to central park.

Tokeru smiled as his little temptres called him "Guardian Angel".
"Well then, if i'm your guardian angel, then this is one messed up guardianship."
He turned Edith around to face him and grinned."After all, when's the last time you heard of a guardian angel doing this."
He placed his hands on Edith's back, and kissed her deeply. After a few seconds he stopped kissing her and looked in her eyes, smiling again. "Guess we should do something about those lights huh?"
"As for the material, it's anti-shock material. Don't have a name for it yet, but it's washer safe, and it takes roughly 1 year to get enough of that material for a piece that size"

Who said that guardian angels could not do what he did? She had never seen a carved out set of stone rules, that was only the ten commandments. Sure she'd never heard of a guardian angel doing that before but there was a first time for everything and she liked defying rules and testing the limits of things. "I haven't," she admitted with a chortle, "but if you can make that suit I think you can surely do that as my Guardian Angel, babe."
"Yeah," she said, suddenly turning to look at the door where the lights had been cast on her, "I think you should give me the damn code before I go out there and burn myself again. You know most vampires get used to the rule of sunlight but I keep on forgetting. It really friggin' hurts!"
She was amazed at what he had said. "What?!" she exclaimed, her exaggerated mouth movement causing her lips to bleed again. "Why the hell did you do that then?! Are you insane!? Jesus Tokes." She then found herself embracing him, her way of silently thanking him for his thoughful yet expensive gift.

Tokeru smiled as she hugged him. "It's nothing. I did it because you seem to be having really bad luck with injuring yourself lately. Atleast this way your torso will be protected, among other areas."
Tokeru grinned devilishly. "I'm gonna go tell them to take off the lights, then i'll change the code to let you use it. It might take awhile so...."
That was Tokeru's invitation to get herself cleaned up, healed and wear her gift.
He picked up his communicator. (Somehow it had gotten stuck in his pants, when it was usually in his jackets) and dialed the extension for the security room.

Once again, had her cheeks not been burned to the point that they were almost black then her blush may have been visable, however it was not. "I guess," she said with an aloof shrug, but slapped him on the shoulder afterwards though not too hard, "I am too wreckless. William always complained about that. He was always the big brother who had to protect me and bail me out."
She would have gone off to take a shower but she honestly did not know where she was supposed to go in order to do so. "Uh," she said, looking down the long corridors of the Chapter House, "where the hell are the showers? Am I supposed to just walk into a room or something?"

Tokeru smiled and placed a hand over the speaker of the communicator.
"Well, i guess you can use the private elevator that leads to my room. Just go into the shower there, i'll be talking with these people for awhile, gotta get some stuff sorted out. Oh and tell Hope that i'll be there soon. And thank her for taking care of savage for me please."
He strode forwards and gently kissed her. Then he gave her the written code for the elevator and pointed it out to her. Then he returned to the communicator, telling the damn security people to change the code.

Edith was not sure if she wanted to have a shower or did not want to have a shower. She wanted to have one because they were relaxing and she was a complete mess. And she did not want to have one because of her burns and her punctured lips since hot water against cuts always stung like hell. She was a baby about stuff like that. She could handle the actual wound but not adding medical add-ons to it or cleaning it.
"OKay," she said, swiping the written code from him without hesitation. "Thanks a bunch, I owe you. And I will do to give your sister your thanks." She was not sure if it would be awkward talking to Hope or not as she was with her brother but this had only been over the course of a few days. Another thing she was not sure about was if it would be awkward in Tokeru's shower.
She made her way to the elevator, hips highlighted by the skirt that hugged her curves so well as she swaggered to the elevator. Edith then entered the code into the elevator Tokeru had pointed to and she proceeded inside of it, waiting for it to take her to his room. Once it stopped, she stepped out and went to his room.
As she entered she smiled and waved to Hope. "Heya Hope," she said pleasantly despite her aching shoulder, her headache, her burns, and her punctured lips, "Tokeru told me to tell you that he wants to thank you for taking care of Savage. That was a mouthful... Anywhoo, I'm here to use the shower so don't mind me." Edith was kind of bummed that Hope was there because she liked singing in the shower. That was the one thing she valued about living alone, being able to do stupid things that you enjoyed.

Edith had no trouble at all finding Tokeru's shower since she had seen him go into it before. That had been when she was suffering from her burn wounds prior to this time. She was suddenly reminded that she had left her friggin' bullets unattended and her skin had now healed over. "Damn." she swore softly to herself since Hope was in the other room. She still had to get all five bullets out of her legs and one more out of her left arm.
She would do it in the shower and hope that the drain took care of all her blood. So she walked into the shower, stripped down and turned on the water, allowing it to cascade down her vulnerable body. God warm water felt so good even if it felt like her face was melting off right now. She'd make this quick, cut out her bullets ASAP before something happened.
The vampiress took out her jagged knife and began hacking at her skin, first her left arm which did not take much time at all. She then proceeded to hack at her right leg which had two bullets in it, then her left which had three. She watched as her blood was swept away by the shower's constant cataract of water and then proceeded to actually cleanse herself.
She shampooed her hair twice over, scrubbing her scalp until it turned red from how much she had been rubbing it. She ended up condidtioning only once but she had used an overdose of it since her hair was so damn tangled. And as for soap, her entire body was soaped, scrubbed, then rinsed.
Finally, after almost an hour, she had finished bathing and cleansing herself. As she stepped out of the shower the colder air stung her burns and punctures. She hastily grabbed a towel, wrapping it around exposed body so it was no longer exposed. Then she took out her gift, putting it on, noting that it was a little tight in her bust section and put on the skirt and jacket part of her uniform. There, she was done.
She wrapped the towel around her head for a brief two seconds then decided it looked incredibly stupid and just hung it up. Now she was ready to go see if anything had happened in the almost hour she had taken to shower and clean herself up.

In the time that Edith had taken her shower, Tokeru was arguing with the security gaurds. It had taken him the better part of an hour just to get them convinced that it was him, then the rest of it to change the code so Edith would be allowed to use it to shut off the lights. When he was done, he was throughouly frustrated and wished that Edith came back soon. He swore that he was surrounded by incompetents, but then they fought, and he retracted that opinion, for awhile again anyway..

Edith smiled, creeping up behind Tokeru. Sure her wounds had not been healed but she did not want to ask Hope to heal her again after she had just healed her a few days ago. She then gave him a huge bear hug around his waist, but quickly brought herself closer to his topless body. Her hands were hugging his abs, pulling him closer to her. She felt a scar but she could care less, she had them too and she had given up on hiding them long ago.
"Heya Angel," she said, leaving the guardian out since it sounded dumb calling him by the full thing except for certain things, "how's things?" Her head was resting on his shoulder, her body quite warm from her very warm shower.

Tokeru immediatly perked up when he felt Edith grab him around the waist. He quickly turned, making sure not to hit her in the face with his wings, and kissed her full on the lips, holding it for a few moments, before he answered. "I swear, half the people here don't even know who I am, and the other half are idiots. Although I finally got it so you can shut off the outside lights. From what I told them, all ya need to do is use the communicator or talk to the security room, and the tell them "Darkness Rising" then they'll shut off the lights untill you call em again and tell them the same code, then they put the lights back on. And if you don't call em and tell em to put them back on, they stick em back on after 30 mins."
Tokeru kissed his little temptress again, noting that she was wearing his gift, and also noting that she seemed very happy with everything she was wearing, he smiled at himself, happy that he had made her happy. And also smiling at how sexy she looked in the uniform.
