Hearing the ninja speak, however, Sephiroth couldn't help but be confused. She wanted vengeance, for his sake? Even though he had tormented her and her friends for months, leading them on a wild-goose chase, slain one of her allies, and even tried to destroy the entire planet? Taking only a moment to think this over before deciding to ignore it for the time being, he seemed to blur. Becoming solid again, he was facing toward both Hojo and Yuffie. Behind him, a large, gaping hole in the wall had suddenly appeared, a clean, circular cut around the edges as the slab of metal fell away, dropping toward the city below. The loud rushing of air filled the room, and he had to shout to be heard over it. "If you wish to live, come to me." He then fixed his gaze on Hojo. "As for you. Every last shred of work that you have done is stored in these chambers. The mako chamber below, as the girl witnessed, is going critical. It has roughly five seconds until it explodes, destroying not only the floor it is on, but two floors in either direction, vaporizing everything in them. Take that time to make peace with whatever demons you serve, for you are about to meet them."

Sephiroth glared at Hojo one last time, who had apparently begun calculating data in his head, the result of which caused him to cower in a ball on the floor, crying something about "..precious specimens.."

Quickly snatching Yuffie's hand as a loud whine filled the air, Sephiroth yanked her to him, quickly catching her before leaping backward out through the hole he had cut. Having clipped masamune to his side, he had no reason to wait any longer before departing. They had hardly fallen four floors before the lab erupted into a bright, brilliant shade of blue, before it was engulfed in flames, and a gaping hole was blown outward from the tower. The debris fell, seeming to chase the two as they plummeted downward.

Turning his glowing eyes toward the plate that was rushing up to meet them, he smirked. "I have no intention of being splattered over the ground. But we must evade the flaming rubble above us, in order to safely land." So saying, he locked his legs together, and had both arms holding her against him so as to reduce any drag she was causing. Hardly a second later, the passed right through the plate, making use of the small hole in front of the ShinRa building. The debris from the building, however, was not small enough to fit through the gap. As they continued to drop, Sephiroth closed his eyes. A mixture of a bright glow and an intense darkness formed against his back, shaping into what appeared to be wings. These flapped powerfully, dramatically slowing their fall. Flapping once more when they were just above ground, the "wings" vanished, and Sephiroth landed in a solid crouch on the ground before releasing Yuffie, setting her on the cold dirt. Rising to his feet quickly, he stepped away, in case she got any bright ideas.

His entire body tensed as she hugged him, his face covered by a look of pure bewilderment. Quickly attempting to push her away, he shook his head, growling, trying to regain control of the situation. "I simply had matters to attend to. That you had a similar goal was purely chance."

Narrowing his eyes, he quickly turned away. "What would you know of what was done? In a way, I owe Hojo a twisted sense of gratitude, as it was he that brought me into this world. However, as I cannot abide such a pitiful being, I had to eliminate him. You need not read into it any further than that." Taking a few steps away, he sighed, then shook his head. "However, as all records of the Jenova project are now gone, I will need to find the other locations on my own.."

Turning around, he snarled, glaring at her angrily. "Can you not leave off? This is something that I must do, and I must do it alone. And if you need some insipid reason as to why, just write it off as being a matter of duty. And if that is still not enough, think of it as being a family matter." Storming away, he grumbled under his breath, staring down anyone in the Wall Market region that dared look at him.

Shaking his head, he stopped. "Leave well enough alone." Lowering himself into a low crouch, as if he were about to dash forward, his body suddenly became mostly transparent, before vanishing altogether. He had much more important things to do than listen to her inane banter.

Yuffie walked toward one of the INNs, just in the Wallmarket, Before thinking. It would be pointless to rent a room, shower up and put the same dirty blood stained cloths on again, wouldn't it? She had to find something new to wear.

"If you people dont stop stareing at me, Theres going to be trouble!" Yuffie was getting rather annoyed by now. It wasn't like she did anything! But yet they jumped to conclusions. Waveing a hand,she walked on.

"Maybe they'll have something in that one clothes shop..Soo hope its open." She peeked into the store,before walking in.

"Hi! Umm...It doesnt look like you have anything I'd like..Gawd."

The women inside the store glanced at the girl,before running behind the desk suddenly with wide eyes.She tryed to remain calm, as the women picked up a phone.

"Exuse me a moment,Miss." Then she walked outside and dialed to the ShinRa authorities. Luckyly someone had picked up,as she begain speaking in a hushed tone. "Yes, I need to report something..Theres a girl here, coverd in blood..With a really huge weapon! i dont like the looks, so please come by to the Wall Market dress shop, as soon as possible."

Yuffie had no idea what the lady was doing, but she didn't really care at the moment. She was to busy looking at the cloths.

Meanwhile, on the phone, the man on the other end spoke. "Does she appear to be a ninja? Black hair,leather jacket and white shorts? If this is correct, stall her. We will have somebody there immeditly."

"Yes, that is it!"She responded. Did she really want o go back in there? What were they asking her to do!

The women enterd the store once more, putting on a fake smile."May I help you with something, dear?"

"Yeah, Well.. I cant find anything I like but do you have any shorts,and maybe a tank top and leather jacket like what I have on now?" That was a dumb question, really.

"I will look! We may just have that." She responded once more.

Yuffie waited,standing against the wall. If she found something like hers, she would be rather impressed.

Then, came the sudden footsteps of what sounded like a large group of people running, heavy boots thudding against the ground,but they seemed to be getting closer to her, Closer...and closer..until!

"Hold it right there!" Came a voice from behind her, and a sudden click as cold steel was suddenly pressed against the back of her neck. If she did turn around,she would see a barrel pointed at her.
