Marie smiled as Arkell spoke about her flyer but then blushing when her brain calculated what she was asking. “Well, different countries have much different systems of learning. I’ve probably taken more classes in six years than most university graduates. I figure if I have the knowledge, I should try and share the wealth. Sometimes, in order to learn something, all you need is a new perspective and teachers can only give you theirs.”
“Plus, it’s a great way to make friends too. I’m not asking for money. Merely a cookie. See?” Marie pointed to the line indicating cookies and sweets as accepted currency.
“How was your first day?”

Not so much startled by this man's appearance rather than his actual introduction, Lite returned a simple "Buona sera, good sir. My name is Lite, but perhaps you know me as the "Giant Afro Man" that people circulated through the school today." It wasn't the best introduction, but it was true never the less and Lite didn't particularly care if he came off as strange. This guy changed his body appearance for crying out loud. He was sure that the guy had heard much stranger. "What's your name?" Lite didn't want to address his skin changing, it was obvious that he knew that it happened, possibly not that it was occurring at the time, but bringing up the obvious was pointless. Lite put some posture in his sit while lighting another cigarette. He stopped himself from rambling, and took a deep inhale of smoke.

"My name is Indigo." He said returning to default with black clothes. "More colluquially known as Huilliame De Corbeau. This lady with me would be Aki Sasari. We make up the less visual members of team Unknown. He turned to Aki and smiled. "As always a case of my powers testing themselves. Guess thats all the neons added as well. You able to skate?" He asked, figuring skating would give them more leeway to talk.

"Oooo! I want cookies!" she exclaimed with a little clap, her stomach grumbling for a little snack. She giggled and looked up at Marie with a big grin when she asked how her first day was. "It was okay by first day standards. Still boring as ever!" She said with another giggle, "The only class I really like is my Chorus one and my German class. All that guttural noise making is so much fun. You can sound as angry as you want, and still end up saying I love you or something, it's awesome!!!!" she exclaimed her hair flaring up with her excitement. "How was your day??"
Sergey could hear the girls talking and stopped typing when he heard that Marie was merely asking for cookies. He still had some of his 'mothers' cookies up in his room that he hadn't even broken out yet. Maybe that would e a good way to apologize...but why was he the one going to apologize? He had had every right to be angry with her, and he really hasn't been that rough, just taken her hands away from the keys so she couldn't play that song anymore...He groaned and shook his head going back to typing up his short homework.

“My day? CRAZY,” Marie joked a bit. Had its ups and downs. Even though Sergey had managed to avoid Marie successfully and she had the chance to vent what happened to Arkell, Marie decided against it. She had been wrong in her own way and would apologize at a later date. “All my classes are either interesting or filled with interesting people, so I shouldn’t suffer from boredom too much.”
“The librarian told me there was going to be some mass student announcement after classes. Do you have any idea what its about?”

"Sorta... Or used to be able to. Haven't tried since I was little." Aki shrugged, remembering why she'd stopped. Her parents had taken the skates when she tried to mimic one of the pros, jumping around and doing tricks. Needless to say, she'd wound up with her arm and wrists broken in several places. The same thing happened with the skateboard. She looked to Lite, realizing she couldn't smell the smoke. "Wind?" she asked, realizing it made no sense afterwards. "You're power I mean. Manipulate it?" she clarified, now watching how the smoke spiraled up to where no one else would have to deal with it.

First a guy who changes skin color, and now a woman who seemed ordinary enough had appeared in front of him. Huilliame, it had a nice ring to it, Lite had thought. "No, I myself have never skated either on stakes or on a board. I prefer surfing myself, water's a lot easier to fall on than concrete or the like." He turned to answer the girl's question, but couldn't think how to word it. Instead he insisted "It's something like that, but a little more than just wind. It's easier to show." He extended his arm away from the two of them, to the Lite's right side. Not having to focus too much, his entire arm and a six inch diameter around it had become enshrouded in smoke. "It only works to a certain degree, but it has its advantages."

"Ah, a camoflage power, no? I tried surfing once. Got a broken arm. In any case I got a few sets of skates and boards in my room I can lend you both. This place is pretty much heaven. Back home I just broke into places like construction sites and road works." He said, shifting his plain black canvas bag about. It had his surname etched out in military font, a gift from his cousin. "So I know, you are friends with my room mate Matt right?" He said, using his power to give the illusion of being made up of rolling waves of water.

Pushing his hair from his face, Lite wasn't sure of what he saw. He didn't make a big deal of the watery skin Huilliame bore. "I would like that, learning to skate. As for Matt, we met last year in some classes we shared. Cool kid, he is. He's in a class of mine this year as well. There something you'd like to know about him? Cause I have a really poor memory and some issues with retaining skills." He put out his current cigarette, but did not pull out another. Instead he reached into his pocket and pulled out a scrunchy he'd been offered with a phone number retained earlier. He used it to tie back his hair, he didn't want to deal with the constant brushing the hair out of his eyes.

"Ah. Teaching people to skate is no problem. Really." He said, pulling out a bottle of cold water, drinking a little before offering some to his companions. He was doing his best to be friendly and he now kind of regretted making jokes about Lite earlier. He also appreciated being able to avoid talking directly to Aki right now.

Arkell couldn't help but giggle at the emphasis on crazy that Marie put in. "Aah, oh!! I've got PE with Tess! aaand...thats about it" she pouted. Tess was an interesting person, but that was one person out of a bunch of classes. She blinked and looked up at Marie when she asked about an after school announcement. She shook her head to show she didn't. "Huh, I wonder what it's about?" She furrowed her eyebrows, "well, I hope it's something fun!"

When offered with some water, Lite put out his hand, palm facing him and he swayed it left and right as if to say no thanks. Having surfed a portion of the day, he had had enough water until the next. Bear had started climbing down Lite's side, so Lite picked him up and placed him on the spare bench to his left. "I'd really love to learn to skate, having fun is way better than doing school related crap. Learning is okay and all, it's just not as important as having a good time. That's my philosophy at least. And you're right, from what I know about skating, this place looks to have it made." It really had been on Lite's agenda for learning new things for enjoyment, but skating never really hit it off where he lived in the Mediterranean. "Hey, what about you? Surely you want to learn to skate too, eh?" Lite addressed the girl as he would any other stranger, abruptly and bluntly.

"Well, I was actually going to be teaching her anyway. She's the only member of the team I've really talked to. Only person in this place come to think of it." He said, pointing the bottle at Aki. He smiled as he saw the lizard sat on the bench. "Guess that explains about some of the critters. I guess I should be happy I didnt let my cousins send Remy over. He's my Husky." He smiled and shifted his bag again. His colours went into a regular, white and red striped kabuki pattern.

The color schemes this man emitted from his skin intrigued Lite, who started to wonder just how complex and obscure the patters could become. "I've met my teammates, they're as strange as the rest of us I guess, as strange as all of these queer creatures on the island. I'm sure your husky would have loads of fun chasing these little geckos around and around, they're quite a handful. This specific one here I call Bear, he's my pet. Since my roommate's stuff disappeared, I kind of made a small home for him." He looked around at the amount of people outside and started simulating how he could best keep his learning to skate as minimally embarassing as could be. "So, when would this learning to skate happen, huh?"

The sound of a microphone being turned on soon echoed throughout the campus, and students calmed and looked towards the source of the sound. "Afternoon, Students!" The headmistress's voice rang in a cheerful tone, causing the populous to calm even further. "I'm sure you've been wondering what I have to announce, now that the first day of classes are done. By the way, how did they go?" she chuckled softly, and then went back to point. "I have a few announcements, one that applies today. At five O clock, a bell will be ringing. When it does, I would like for you to all meet me at the field outside the training facility. We will be discussing the best way for you all to work with your powers. When you get there, I'd like for you to get into your teams, so we know who's who, in case you haven't met all of your team members yet."
All of a sudden, a small cheer was played, and the headmistress giggled before turning off the sound file on her computer. "This Friday night, we'll be holding a get-together dance! We did one last year, and it seemed to be a big hit, so we're doing one again this year. You don't have to dress up, or anything. Just come, hang out, eat snacks, and dance! We'll be putting up fliers with the time and such, and since weekends are our days off, we'll even let you stay up late." She smiled, and it could almost be hard over the microphone, as she was obviously excited for the students. "I'll see you at the training meeting... Headmistress, out." The microphone was turned off, and everything was silent for a moment, before the chatter started once more.
