((Limbo Round 2))
‘Well that wasn’t too bad.’ RoChan considered for a moment as she watched Zave’s second attempt to the bar. She continued to wait her turn down the limbo line watching a few of the other contests, some she had never seen before. Several of the people had already begun talking to each other while yet another contestant lost her chance to continue. The a red head seemed rather interesting if not radiating a sort of charm. Still there was a pair that had almost visible sparks flying between them and the dragon suppressed a chuckle. An interesting pair none the less and one she wanted to ease drop on a bit.
Well that is once she finished this limbo round!

((Limbo Round 2 REDO!))
RoChan saw the world slide quickly past her as she slipped and fell to the ground with a resounding 'thud.' A blush of embarrassment colored her cheeks as she quickly stood back up and brushed the sand of her shorts. Which was a lot easier said than done considering the material. Giving a little laughter and two thumbs up she started her descent again.
This time, for good measure, she really got low almost to the point of showing off. Once she made it past the bars she laughed and held her hands up in victory.

((Limbo – Round 4))
She drew in a breath when she’d felt him draw closer to her, idly playing with her hair and whispering quietly. Her nose twitched slightly as she moistened her dry lips. He was trying to best her again, she could see this now. It wasn’t that they were merely flirting; they were playing an epic game of chess as well. Every time she moved forward and created a strong defense, David somehow managed the impossible and slipped a pawn through her ranks. It was irritating, but also invigorating.
“And you sir have a wicked tongue.” she hissed as she moved forward to take her turn at the pole again. “But far be it from me to not give thanks for your compliments. No matter how indecent or not.” With that she flipped her hair out towards him and took her turn.

[[...::Beach Bar::...]]
When two sudden hands folded over his grey eyes, obscuring his vision, Isi could only jump in surprise and squirm underneath the grip, throwing up his hands to try and pry off the hands that had caught him. At first, he was going to shout 'Eirdirsceol!' at the top of his lungs but he noticed almost immediately that the hands weren't deathly cold or nimble shaped like his frei's. This wasn't a playful trick from Eiry, Isi could deduce that. They were someone else's hands. And not his brother's either! Aphismet's hands were larger, much larger, and they were slightly callused around the place where the chef would grip pans and other such kitchen like tools.
Then someone spoke. It was a female voice, but Isi couldn't place it to a name. He only really knew Chloe's voice, Ebony's, Alex's, and...ugh...Lil's voice. This voice sounded familiar...He just couldn't place a name to it.
Wiggling underneath her grip and trying to lean forward so that he could break out from it, Isi scowled plaintively, "No, no, I don't know who it is. It isn't Eiry, it isn't Aphi, and it most certainly isn't Chloe. Who is this?" He prodded the hands still covering his face.

David listened as Ebony took inhaled sharply, finding her behaviour quite entertaining. And there went her wiggling nose again, wrinkling as cutely as ever. Unable to resist himself, he emitted a soft, lighthearted chuckle, finally proceeding to slow the pace of his flirtations. It was fairly late in the afternoon but the sun continued to shine mercilessly on the festival go-ers, David's dislike for the beach inching its way back into his mind. He was still covered in rose colored splotches so the sweat and unknown fluids covering his body was not suiting the man's tastes. Watching Ebony take yet another dip under the bar, David let out a weary sigh. He'd have to go wash off or at least find a decent towel. That's when he caught the sight of his favorite female companion bumping against the bar. Ouch. Looked like it was game over...
But the devil in him was not done yet! Before taking his leave, he rushed up to the woman before she even had a chance to sulk about her misfortune, and -recklessly- David planted a soft flower of a kiss on Ebony's cheek, his muscular arms locked solidly around her.
"Yeah, I am pretty indecent aren't I?" he laughed before instinctively releasing her from his tight embrace. He..was a dead man. Immediately after David waved her goodbye and darted for the beach, hoping she would follow. Smirking as he ran, he turned to call back to her teasingly, "Catch me if you can Ebony. C'mon! Put those sexy legs of yours to the test."
David shot her one last wink before continuing his jog to the water. He was seriously dead. Dead dead dead dead dead. - - - - - - Namini struggled to keep the rambunctious teen blinded, giggling the whole way though her hands were beginning to tremble at the fight Isi was giving her. For some reason though, he seemed more shaken than Namini would have liked, silently going through a list of possible suspects and frustrated perhaps that he could not pinpoint the stranger. Letting out one last chuckle, the curly-haired brunette removed her hands from his eyes and leaned over his shoulder and met his eyes dead on. Attempting to wear a serious pout, Namini finally just broke out into another one of her pure hearted smiles and sang, "It's Namini of course!"
Taking the bar stool beside him, spinning once out of childishness, she wiggled her feet as she continued her little game, "How have you been Isi? Again, I really haven't seen you in such a long time!"

Watching the others file through the line, Melisande clapped her hands with joy. Everyone was doing so well! When her next turn came, she shook her hair back...loose petals settling to the sand.
Low, low! She thought, and squeezed her eyes shut as she gave it a go. In truth, what she really wanted was a longer nap, but Pasha was easily caught up in the excitement of the event.
"Did I do it?!"

"Yeah, it really is. I was pretty surprised, on my first time seeing the raevans. And my friend over there," Zayne jerked his thumb towards where the Limbo participants were gathered and chuckled as he thought of Altair's first reaction to the half-bodied creatures, "is still near-deathly afraid of them."
Turning to the bartender, he ordered a fruity-yet-alcoholic drink, just to last for the rest of the event. "And also- what do you mean by 'they have a wide range?' " He inquired, resting his chin on his hands and watching the Limbo participants take their turns.

Damien followed Melisande, hoping that he'd be noticed after her and his turn. Otherwise... he probably seemed like a creepy stalker standing wherever she was for the past ten or so minutes.
Bending low for his turn, he inched his way through the Limbo bar.

{{Limbo R4- reroll from 1-100 this time :,D}}
Damien noticed something odd as he tried to go under the limbo stick; the stick was way to far away to be going under already!
His rosy cheeks glew bright, and he felt as if he had made a fool of himself. Hurrying up to the actual limbo pole, he bent far back again before trying to get through again.
Straightening up on the other side, he exhaled in relief and waited again alongside Melisande, slightly turned for her, just in case she responded. To her question of whether she had gotten through the round, he smiled and responded, "you did very well, by the way."

[[ Limbo// Beach bar]] Zave looked a little pleased at being able to accomplish getting under the bar. Especially after just learning this time. "I had a good teacher show me how to limbo." Zave said, using a compliment he had heard on TV before. "It looks like we both made it onto our next rounds! Congratulations!" Zave cheered Lucia on as well. Somehow the excitement of the event was starting to build up in him, especially when before he had been rather checked out from everything. ========== ========== Tsu looked puzzled at the question from the other man. Then he realized he must have sounded odd musing aloud before. "Oh, I'm sorry. I just meant that there are all different types of personalities here. Especially in the people... like you mentioned your friend being deathly afraid of our raevans." Tsu offered to the man, clinking his glass against the other's. "It must sound a little odd to muse about humans having all types, when I'm human myself. I'm sorry, by the way. I didn't happen to catch your name...?"

Zayne was about to open his mouth to explain his question, then quickly stopped as the other figured out what he meant, he lifted his eyebrows in comprehension of the explanation of what the man had formerly said. "Ah, yes, there are many types of people here. Naw, its not odd at all-- I guess its somewhat like musing about life, too? Everyone has a life, but we all muse about it; philosophy somewhat serves that purpose." Zayne smiled at him, clinking his drink against the offered glass. "My name is Zayne, and yours?"

He was an utter distraction and she shouldn’t have spoken to him right before her turn. But the man had such a way of inflating her ego that it was slightly addictive. As she began to slowly dip her body under the much lower bar, Ebony chanced a glance towards David. Big mistake. He was giving her a smoldering sort of look then. ‘Damn him…’ she thought silently once more. The pole bumped against her flat stomach and fell unceremoniously to the sand.
Anger could not begin to explain her feelings then as she quietly placed the bar back in its proper place. She could have punched the next person she saw in the face, which of course would have been David. But the man always seemed to trace the rim of her fury before jumping out of danger. A sneak attack on his part as he placed a strategic kiss to her cheek while wrapping his arms about her waist. This left Ebony flushing with both embarrassed surprise and anger. “Indecent indeed…” she remarked, lightly touching her cheek. Oh yes, he was dead. “H-hey!” The lilac haired woman stuttered loudly as she grabbed her sandals and chased after the man.

"Thanks! Yeah, if I don't win, I hope you do," she told Zave. She smiled at him before realizing that she should probably go under again.
Getting in line, she squared her shoulders and leaned back. She floated further back this time in an attempt to go under an even lower bar. She kept her eyes on Zave until the last second when she winked, lined her head up, and went under smoothly.

.ll Limbo ll.
Josh noticed as his turned drew deathly near. How would he spare this round? Even though his joint groaned in protest, he had to endure on. His good-natured sportsmanship wouldn’t permit him to back out of this game. The boy squared himself off at the pole and made his way under. Each inch he surpassed, he hoped for the best. Would he be able to make it all the way?

[[ Limbo R 3// Beach Bar]] Zave noticed that the line was becoming shorter and shorter, which meant the break he got between attempts was also being cut down at the same rate. With a drawn breath he imagined himself flat, and low to the ground. That seemed to be the key, as Lucia had pointed out. Watching her clear the bar for a fourth time, he knew that was probably a good strategy. Even if he didn't win, he wanted to at least see how long he could last. Stepping up the bar he muttered, "Here goes nothing..."((r1: 100 + r2: 71 + r3: 15 = 186)) ========== ========== "Zayne, eh? My name is Tsu. It's a pleasure to meet you." Tsu said raising his own Long Island Iced Tea to Zayne's glass in a toast. "In seriousness, it's not so much philosophy of people I'm interested in. It's a small part of psychology, but mostly biology. After all... we could muse until we were blue in the face, and still have no idea why things happen." Not to mention, he couldn't study body parts if he focused on philosophy. It seemed so stuffy too. Not like psychology was any better.

((Sand n Stuff))
Reaching the glistening waters, David wiped some droplets of sweat from his forehead. It felt like the paintball event all over again, this mixture of the intense summer heat and running. Taking a breather, the tall man glanced over his shoulder to see if the violet-haired woman was following him. Indeed, she was. But what made David laugh was not the irony that now she was chasing him, it was the embarrassed blush running across her cute little features. It was as if the vicious tigress had retracted her claws and was magically transformed into a sickeningly adorable kitten. Refusing to take any chances, though, he quickly looked around for another escape, wondering how long he could string her along. Finally, strategical eyes fell upon a feline's greatest fear: water balloons. Reaching into a nearby bucket filled to the brim with latex mandarins and squishy emeralds, he grabbed a hefty little thing and juggled it in one hand as he watched the woman approach him.
"Wanna try your luck now?" he teased.
