Applying at a grocery store annnnd at a coffee place. I'd dearly like to work in a book store, even if the work would be stressful. I'm better in retail that I think I'll be in anything involving food. But I'll be applying at two other restaurants. sweatdrop But! Some friends of the family need help painting and such in their house and are willing to pay me. <3

Don't overstress Miss Reko, just look for something that'll pay well. After all, its not like you'll be working there long...just 'till college.

Yeah... I'm not over-stressing. My stepmom seems to think I should be more stressed about it. But I think when you start getting heartburn when you're healthy (for the most part), you need to relax a little. 4laugh
I need to get a date for summer orientation, though... and try to work my friend into a similar schedule with her college so we can take the same flights. sweatdrop She has no where to stay there, and my sister is the only one I know.
Don't mind me, if I type these things out, I tend to remember a little better.

You'll be just fine, Miss Reko. You're tough.
How far outside of Chicago is your school? I'm there a few times a year to visit my Great Aunt or with my school's art department(who seem to think its a brilliant idea to set us loose in Chicago for a day all "well, okay, we'll see you in seven hours at the other museum...don't die!"). I could take you out to lunch or sommat. wink

How long will you be in Illinois for orientation? We could arrange a time and place to meet if you'll be there for a few days or so.

Well, I need to schedule my orientation. Hopefully make it around... September 2nd so my sister can take both me and my friend down to Illinois for orientation with our colleges. xp I won't be leaving for the midwest until after the 19th, though. I have ortho/dentist things to deal wiiith. YAY YAY YAY! I'MMA GET MY BRACES OOOOOOOFF!
So I'm not exactly sure. sweatdrop
Uhm, not far at all, according to my admissions counselor and this mapquest thing. We have a train station on campus and it takes maybe 20 or somesuch minutes to ride into Chicago (though I don't know where in Chicago), if I remember correctly.

*shrugs* Well, keep me posted. I know of some tasty places to catch lunch in Chicago(do you like creole food, by any chance?), not too far from Union Station...and there's always Mitsuwas. blaugh
