"A jewel? Piece of cake" She was sure getting a simple jewel from the queen would be simple. Especially since no one would notice a small group missing from the large party "It'd be easy to get away since everyone in wonderland will be there"

"Everyone she hasn't killed, you mean," Nana said, trying to pull her face out of the Caterpillar's grasp. "We'll certainly be there, Mr. Caterpillar, but what do you expect us to wear? We haven't got anything left! And when exactly is this masquerade anyway?"

"Why the masqurade will be as soon as Puppet Master and Executioner report back to her of your deaths, right Mimicry?" Mimicry grinned at his que and kissed Indya, seperating into two Mimicry's and then turning one into Puppet Master and the other into Executioner. "I guess I'll be back the, love." The two said to Indya simultaneously.
"As for wardrobe...my beetlewomen can handle that. They'll just need your...measurements. Or would you prefer I take those? I only need yours and Indyas. Since I have Tick-Tocks...I made that body of hers, ya know?"
Tick-Tock made a disgusted face and looked like she was about to vomit.
"Hatter..." she whined.

Indya glared over at the caterpillar as he mentioned measurements. She hated to think of the caterpillar knowing something like that. "Good luck Mimicry" then she stared back at the caterpillar and sighed "alright.. what do I have to do to get my measurements without you knowing

"Don't worry." Came a voice from above. A petite woman with the torso of a black widow came down from the sky, her web a silky shimmer. "I wouldn't tell that old pervert something as personal as your measurements. He's been dying to know mine for years." she chuckled as the Caterpillar glared up at her. "I'll have something thrown together soon enough." ((You guys can come up with whatever outfit you'd like. I have an idea for Tick's dress and I figured this could be a fun time to get creative with the clothes. If you can draw something fo ahead and do it))

((oh yay! unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea.... but I shall think of something!))
The Hatter put his arm around Tick-Tock's shoulders and held her close. "Just ignore him," he said quietly into her ear. "Don't let him get to you."
Nana finally got her chin out of the Caterpillar's hand and smiled up at the spider woman. "Thank you, miss," she said with a curtsy. "It's quite a relief to meet you. My name is Shayalind Firestorm, but everyone just calls me Nana. May I have your name?"

((I got my dress idea for Tick-Tock and the idea for the ball from watching Phantom of the Opera. XD))
Tick nodded and wrapped her arms around the Hatter's neck.
The spider woman smiled, folding her arms politely infront of her. "Ah, a Guardian, it is an honor. Please, call me Miss Nera. ((Near-a)) Would you like Mr. Firestorm to fancy himself in a suit?"

Nana almost laughed at the mention of 'Mr. Firestorm.' Apparently, she really was the man of the house. "Yes, I do think he might need a new one," she said, grinning broadly. "And it's quite a pleasure to meet you, Miss Nera."
((edit: OMG 3000 posts! a lot of which are ours!! blaugh yay for us!!!
I'll try to figure out a costume for Nana. I'll probably resort to tektek but maybe I'll draw something.))

 (Here's indya's dress) "Miss Nera, it's a pleasure " She was glad the caterpillar wouldn't hear a word of that sort of stuff. She didn't trust him very much, but still she had to admit he was useful. she wondered if she could convince mimicry into wearing a suit

((can't decide on a costume! I sent 3 to mello.... who is not on.... and who also writes for most of the characters.... so this is difficult....))
Nana moved a little closer to the spider woman so she could speak more quietly and somewhat more privately. "Miss Nera," she said, "do you think perhaps that after the masquerade ball, if it's not too much trouble, you could make me a Guardian wedding dress? I know they're much more difficult to make than regular ones, but I do have faith in someone who can still live in honor and with dignity around one such as the Caterpillar." She gave a smile that only Miss Nera could see. "Please, Miss, would it be possible?"

"A masquerade, my dear, how exciting!" said the Hatter to Tick-Tock with a giggle. ((yes, the hatter giggles.)) "I shall make it a goal to have your hat finished by that time so you can wear it and dazzle everyone there. Although I suppose the idea wasn't to dazzle anybody, but to be secretive... but we shall dazzle them anyway."

Nera chuckled and nodded. "Why yes, I'd be honored to make anything you'd ask. A wedding dress for a guardian...why yes, I can manage that." Gripping her web, she nodded politely to them before climbing up and disappearing.

Tick-Tock smiled. "With a mask I won't be very difficult to notice, especially since she doesn't know I'm human. So, dazzle away, my love."

Mimicry, taking the forms of Puppet Master and Executioner, entered Rosalie's throne room and bowed. Tossing before her the 'heads' of the rebels. "We killed each and every one, your majesty." they said in unison.
Rosalie clapped approvingly and stood. "Why, we must celebrate the occasion. I recommend a masquerade! yes, a masquerade! It's brilliant!"
Picking up the head of the robotic Tick-Tock, she smiled. "Won't have to worry about you anymore, now will we?" "Make an announcement to everyone. Within a week, we'll have a ball!"

When the Puppet Master form of Mimicry had time, he vanished quickly to reappear before the others. "A week until the masquerade. She thinks we're all dead. Which should make entering the ball alot easier."
Tick-Tock nodded and looked at Nana. "This would be the best time for you and Jasper to leave for your visit to your father."

Jasper nodded in agreement and took Nana's hand in his. "Yes, I agree. I think a week is enough time for us to reach the Guardian's and speak to your father. Do you want to leave now? Or later?"

Nana looked down at their clasped hands and smiled. She looked up at Jasper and she was still smiling, but tears were starting to form in her eyes. "It's going to have to wait," she said. "The wedding, I mean. We'll visit my father, but I don't think we can get married until everything settles down. And I don't know how long that will take.... I can wait that long, but can you?" She paused, and then shook her head. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that at all. It's just.... I know you're looking forward to this so much, and-- well, it may take a while before Wonderland can become as eager as we are."

"A wedding?" the Hatter said, thoughtfully running his fingers along the brim of his hat. "Congratulations! It sounds delightful, but I do agree with Nana in the respect of waiting until at least after the masquerade." He nudged Tick-Tock and made an exaggerated nervous-face. "Oh, my dear, I do hope we're being invited!!!"

The Caterpillar tsked, raising his hand as a puff of smoke surround it. Then, before their eyes were a handful of tickets, just enough for everyone. "She already planned on inviting me, whether she wants to or not is completely different." He got a goofy grin on his face as he looked at the women. "I can't wait to see what all of you look like in those lovely dresses."

His face grew serious. "Shayalind..." he whispered. "Not even my death could keep me from waiting for that glorious day when I see you come down that aisle." With that he dropped to his knees, taking her hand. "If I have to wait an eternity, then so be it. I want it to be perfect and perfect just doesn't seem so perfect with Rosalie around."
