Blinking a bit, Blade shook his head before moving towards the window. He thought the idea would be to descend a little before diving down at the guards. But whatever works he supposed.
"Or I could try taking them out from up here... but I'm not sure if I can get them each with one shot... I could at least back you up from here if you really want to go through with the dive bomb tactic though."

"Don't worry, Riyo," Neko tried to reassure her when she obviously protested his current actions. Though to be truthful he wasn't too sure about this himself but at the same time it was worth a try. They needed to get out of here fast and get back to the Inn. It was already pretty dark so no doubt the others were questioning their were abouts.
"If you could cover me from above encase I fail that would be great. Just try not to hit me or anything. My face is how I make my money," Neko tried to smile as he joked a little standing uneasily in the window sill. "Well, here goes nothing." Taking hold of the make-shift rope Neko began to ease his way down the wall. His plan was to at least drop half way down before he tried to jump.
(since I have no idea how this is going to work out I'm going to leave it up to fate 8D; Even number it works, Odd number something goes wrong
edit: looks like neko lucked out)
His descent was rather slow, he didn't want to make too much noise and alert the guards below. When he was just above the first story window Neko took that moment to judge when would be the best time to act. A few seconds later and the opportunity presented itself as the guards stopped next to each other to chat for a second.
'Now's as good a time as any,' Neko told himself mentally.
Without too much more thought put into Neko leaped from his current position and nimbly landed on the shoulders of one guard sending him face first into the ground. He was barely about to get out an audible sound of discomfort before he was out cold leaving his friend to stare in shock at what had just transpired.
Wasting little time Neko stood and placed a well aimed kick in the stunned guard's face sending him back into the bushes. He still seemed to be partially conscious though as he gave a muffled groan reaching up to tenderly touch his now swollen nose.

As Neko descended, Riyo bit her thumb nail and watched him from the window. A quiet 'nyuuu' escaped her lips as he fell on the guard, her eyes wide at the perfect landing. She wouldn't tell, but she'd expected something to go wrong. "Yaaaay~" She called happily at the success of the plan.

Blade watched intently as Neko descended before taking action. He was ready to provide some back up if it was needed, but sure enough the demon had taken care of everything. Grinning slightly, he was glad that they weren't completely ridden with bad luck.
"Nice one Neko.." he murmured before watching the ground where Neko was for a bit. From there, he stepped back to let Riyo go. The rope seemed to hold up pretty good even though its former user didn't really climb down all the way.
"Alright Riyo.. you go ahead and go next."

Riyo looked at Blade, then the rope. "Nyuu..." This wasn't going to be fun. With a soft sigh, she followed Neko's actions to a T, climbing on the window sill and grabbing the rope to help her climb down. To say it was difficult would be an understatement. The fact that she was hanging from nothing but a torn up piece of cloth made her more than nervous. Not to mention that, she was a bit tired... Okay, more than a bit tired.
[Lessee if the rope holds out. c:
Edit: D: Uh ohs.]
Then, there was something that made her stop. A loud 'rip' sound from just above her. Oh crap. This rope wasn't too happy with her weight. Which reminded her. She should probably hurry. Didn't work too well. She was a little below Neko's jumping point when the rope snapped on her. "Eeeeee!" She screeched as she fell.

As the sound of ripping fabric echoed through the air Neko put himself at the ready. As the rope gave way Neko nearly dove forward at catch Riyo on her way down holding out his arms for her. Luckily she wasn't too high up so she didn't fall on him with too much force but still enough to send him stepping back a few feet to catch his balance.
"There now, that wasn't so bad was it," Neko tried to smile as if to lighten the mood.
Placing Riyo down Neko looked back up toward the window where Blade still stood. There wasn't enough rope for him to make it far enough down without hurting himself. Looking from side to side Neko tried to think of a plan.
"Hang on, man!" Looking to Riyo Neko put on a serious face. "Riyo, stay here and watch for trouble and make sure Blade doesn't hurt himself okay?"
With that Neko disappeared around the building as if looking for something to help Blade get down. However, his time away was rather prolonged and soon there was footsteps heading toward the room where Blade was currently located. Without much hesitation the door was knocked in and six gaurds came rushing in armed and ready.
"The black-haired man was right, the thief was here!" One guard yelled out the door.
"Capture him! Don't let him escape!"
As the guards rushed forward in a attempt to capture Blade, Neko rushed back around the building seemingly stuffing something in his pockets. "Come on Riyo, let's get out of here!"

Blade tensed up and cursed lowly as the rope didn't hold up. At least Neko had caught Riyo though. As he stared at what was left of their makeshift rope, he let out a sigh as there really wasn't any way he could climb down with just that much there.
Frowning, he shook his head as luck had turned on him once again. And to make matters worse, while he waited for the ones down below to find a way to get him down, guards appeared. And to make matters even more worse (as if it were possible), he spotted Neko now high tailing. It didn't take much for him to assume one thing or another.
... b*****d.
With six well armed guards here, he knew he couldn't take on them all.
"I'd love to play with ya all... but I really gotta run," he said as his right hand produced a fireball. He quickly threw it at the closest guards' face, hoping to at least slow him down. Once that was done, he actually dove out the window.
If I can roll on my landing.. this might not hurt too bad!!
((I need a 4 to not break anything. XD; Edit - ... Ow this is going to hurt.))
As he hit the ground, Blade did manage to roll somewhat, but his right shoulder slammed into the dirt floor. A loud pop could be heard along with the general thud he made.
"AAAHG!" he cried out as his shoulder exploded with pain. Clutching it, he had a feeling that he either broke his collar bone or dislocated his shoulder... maybe both.
In any case with the pain, he couldn't quite get up and keep running just yet.

Riyo gave a gasp as she fell into Neko's arms, looking around with big eyes, almost ready to panic. When she caught a glympse of his smile, she realized that she definitely wasn't dead. Neko had saved her yet again. She smiled back softly and stood on her feet as he put her down.
Riyo gave a nod to Neko as he left and looked up at Blade with big eyes. She had to look back down before she got a case of vertigo. What was he gonna do? What could he do?
When Neko came running back, she thought he'd found a solution... But her mind quickly rejected that when he told her to hustle. "But what about Blade, Nyu?" She yelled as she ran after Neko. That question was quickly answered when she heard the loud pop along with the agonizing cries of Blade behind her. She stopped and looked back, then forward at Neko. "NEKO, NYUU." She shouted. They couldn't just leave him there!

"He'll be fine." Neko insisted as he tried to reach out to pull Riyo along. "We need to get back. Hitsu, Mitsu, and Poke are waiting." Hopefully if she heard their names it would spark an interest in getting back. She hadn't seen them all day after all and they all usually stayed pretty close together.
Turning his gaze to Blade shortly he eyed him on the ground for a moment as he lay there in pain. Back in the day he wouldn't have cared about such a thing, but over the years he had changed a little. Hitsu was either to thank or blame for that. As the guilt weighed heavily in his chest he turned toward Riyo with a questioning gaze on what she wanted him to do. That was when he made the decision.
He needed to do the right thing. And the right thing in his mind was covering their own asses. So stepping forward he reached out to grab hold of Riyo and sling her over his shoulder. If he was able to secure her he would make a mad dash like hell back to the Inn. Despite being hurt he was sure Blade could handle it on his own.

Huffing out heavily as if to try and quell the pain some. Adrenaline wasn't rushing through him a whole lot so that didn't help him. Blade heard both Riyo and Neko exchange a few words with one another before seemingly trying to run off.
Heh... no one waiting for me...
Groaning, he kept clutching at his shoulder while hearing a few shouts of some guards nearby. Even if he didn't have any friends of loved ones waiting for him anywhere, he still didn't want to get thrown into a prison for who knows how long. Though, suprisingly, he wasn't really panicking or anything like that right now.
Ah damn this hurts like hell...
Slowly, he managed to get up onto his feet, glad that he didn't end up breaking a leg. Or his back. Either which would leave him in a hopeless situation. Hunched over and still grabbing at his shoulder which still screamed with pain, he grunted and attempted to start back, staggaring somewhat along the way. Despite Neko and Riyo being right there, he really didn't expect either to help him out now. After all, they already abandoned him.

Sure, Riyo wasn't going to deny that she wanted to see her friends desperately, but she didn't want to just leave Blade there to rot. She saw the guilt in his eyes when he looked at her. Neko would do the right thing! He was a good person! He would-
Spoke too soon. Riyo had been expecting the exact opposite from him, instead she was slung over his shoulder before she realized what happened. Her eyes were full of sad, and heart full of unwavering guilt. She'd only met him, but he hadn't done anything to make her think he was bad. "Nekooo..." She called in a disappointed voice, but said nothing more.

Her disappointment didn't phase him much. He was used to that sort of thing no need to change the pace of his life now. Only offering a short look back Neko saw that Blade had got to his feet. Her knew better than to think he was some sort of weak individual and maybe perhaps he would have to watch his back for a little while. But at the moment he made haste in his retreat taking Riyo and himself back to the Inn.
Once there he set Riyo back down on her feet and bent over breathing hard trying to catch his breath. They were just outside the door looking in on the dinners of the small restaurant that resided there. "We're back." Apparently the guilt he had felt before had fleeted away as if it was never there. He didn't feel the least bit sorry, not now. He had to worry about Riyo and himself.

Blade watched as Neko zipped off with Riyo, much to his expectations. Making a mental note to repay the guy later on if he managed to get out of this mess, he moved on as well. Of course, he couldn't run as fast as he could with his right shoulder as it as right now. And with guards on his tail again, he wasn't really sure if he could get away too easily.
Still, he did what he could and ran, bearing the pain as much as he could. For awhile, he needed to duck and hide in an alley here or there to recuperate. Fleeing when his body hurt so much just seemed so much more taxing on his stamina. With any luck, he may be able to keep this up until he reached the inn without being found.
((Evens = lucked out. Odds... not so much.
Edit - phew))
It took him awhile, but eventually, he made it back to the inn. He huffed and groaned while doubling over by the door. At least he had made it this far without getting caught, and once he was one he'd be a lot more safe. Though he wondered if he should try and hunt down a doctor somewhere that wouldn't give him away.

Riyo sighed softly as Neko sat her back down. She folded her arms and stared down at him. Her eyes held the same tone of her voice. Disappointed. "That wasn't nice, Neko nyu..." She sighed out. "Why did Neko do that to Blade?" It was an honest question. She wasn't dumb as bricks like the guards said. The fact that the guards chasing after Blade and Neko running away were timed a little too perfectly with eachother. She didn't think she was just imagining it.

Apparently Riyo was a little more perceptive than he gave her credit for. He would have to make a mental note of that. "First off," finally catching his breath Neko stood fully looking down at Riyo. She was tall but he was still a bit taller. "We don't even really know him. It's not like he's our friend. We need to look out for us. Second, I'm sure he can handle himself well enough. Now come on let's get inside."
He tried to not leave much room for argument as he stepped toward and pushed the door to the Inn open and made his way inside holding the door for Riyo to follow. It has been a tiring experience and Neko was glad it was over, or at least he hoped it was over. It was then as he stared at Riyo waiting for her to follow him he saw movement behind her.
Blade had emerged from the darkness looking a little worse for wear. Not sure what to say Neko held up a hand as if offering a friendly greeting. "Hey, guy..... Good to see you made it." Neko tried not to sound too disappointed by that fact and offered a smile.
