Rag tagged along, closly behind emery, also following the sent. She noticed that her great sence of vampiric smell had improved even further, now that she was half werewolf.
The sent led them to the tavern, where John's smell mingled with all the other smells of the tavern. Rag had a hard time figuring out which smell was his, even with her advanced smell.

Inside John was drinking, then suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder,"John, your thinking is over your coming with me" he said pulling him from his seat and pulling him outside.

John looked up from his galss, Bleary eyed, though strangly he seemed to be aware of his suroundings. He stood up, and shook his head, "i already told them I'm not coming." He started to walk away. Then suddenly turned around, wide eyed, finnally recognising Emery, "Why are you here? Did they send you too?"
(Note he only said they...))

Emery said nothing,"your coming with me, we have to keep you safe" he said grabbing his arm and pulling him.

John pulled away, "I already told them I don't want to join them!" He said loudly, getting the attention of everyone in the bar. Rag ran behind John, picked him up, and sped out of there, to avoid an ambarasing situation. "We won't take you to them, you mean the sun children right?"

John looked quickly between rag and emery's faces when rag had put him down. He was going to say something abou tman handling, "The sun children? Who? I'm talking about the guild of clerics." His eyes opened wide, "Don't tell me." Rag shifted her weight, and looked over her shoulder, Emery, we should get going.

Emery nodded, quickly slinging John on his back and taking of at unnatural speed.

John started to sturggle, "Put me down I will not go with you!" He shouted. Suddenly the golden figure appeared in front of them. He was not as bright as he had been, because the sun was not behind him, but he still gave off a sunlit glow. "I thank you for your servesise," He said, bowing to Emery.

It felt as though all of the air had been sucked from Emery as he dropped to his knees, any light..no matter how small hurt him.
"I will not let you take him" Emery said in a hurt tone.

He grinned, "Oh i don't think you really ean that my friend." He reached down and easlily plucked John out of his hands. "Come on, we best be leaving these two creatures of the night on their won. You never know when a beast will turn sour." And he turned around and dissapeared into the rising dawn. Rag nelt down nest to emery. "Come on, We best find shleter before the sun rises." She said calmly, still looking at the place where he had disspaeared. "Don't worry John, We'll save you." She promised to the air.
