Ayla got up relatively early, even by her standards. Walking the grounds, she felt at ease, something that she hadn't felt for some time. Knowing Kieran wouldn't have got up yet, she headed towards the gym. Noticing the basketballs, she pulled one from the racks and started bouncing it. After shooting a few hoops, and getting the majority in, she kind of hoped someone would walk in. When no-one did, Ayla sighed, putting the ball back. Heading back to her room to get changed ready for classes, she bumped into someone she didn't recognise. "Sorry!" she blurted out, only to see a gentleman turn towards her.

Jake awoke in the Infirmary. Looking up at the ceiling he narrowed his eyes slightly. The light was blinding. It gave him a massive headache. Sitting up he groaned and realised how hungover he was. The room around him was spinning so fast he felt drunk, except with a splitting headache. Laying back down in bed he groaned even louder trying to remember why he was in here in the first place. Hearing the almost silent tapping of key's on a keyboard he looked towards the sound and saw that on his left was a red haired boy sitting up, in a bed next to his, and tapping away at his laptop. Feeling somewhat energetic again Jake pushed himself to sit up and called to his room mate. "Hey! Hey buddy!"
Rio didn't even phase as he typed out one of those "about me" reports . He didn't know if his classes did such a thing but throughout high school it was a common use as an icebreaker.
Jake made a face and looked around for something to throw at him. Finding a small ball in the drawer of his nightstand he aimed carefully before throwing it.
The student caught the ball in mid-air and put it on his night stand in the middle of a pencil triangle. "What'dyou want?" He continued to type.
Jake blinked several times before his mind caught up to the fact that the ball was caught instead of hitting its mark. "Uhh..well...you looked pretty banged up. And I was wondering who put you in here."
Rio stopped typing. He couldn't believe it. Was this guy really that stupid? Looking up from his laptop and closely examining the man who had almost killed him just the previous day he frowned. He did look stupid. Going back to his laptop he continued to type. "Wouldn't you like to know."
"Aww..come on man. What'd I ever do to you?" Jake made a huge smile but the room just filled with silence and the light tapping of the keyboard. Frowning once more he looked around and got an idea for a bribe. "Hey...ya know...I am a teacher. I can get back at the guy that did that to you."
Once again Rio stopped typing and looked up. Teacher? Yeah right. He thought to himself. Staring at the smiling Jake he narrowed his eyes a bit and glanced at his night stand. Fine...let's play his game. "Well then Teach. Go look into a mirror."
Jake's smile dropped and wondered what the kid was getting at. Looking around for something that would reveal his reflection, he remembered about the night stand and reached into the drawer. Pulling out a hand-held mirror he looked into it. "Okay...now what?"
Rio muttered something about teaching new dogs old tricks before continuing. "You see that guy in the mirror? The one with the crappiest haircut I've ever seen. And this really annoying facial expression that make him look like nothing more than a kiss-a**?"
Jake started to laugh at Rio's description till he realised Rio was talking about him. "Hey!" He snapped, then looked back in the mirror. "I like my kiss-a** expression."
"You see him, right?"
"Yeah, yeah..I see me...what about me?"
The tapping of the keyboard could be heard again. "That's who put me in here."
Jake blinked several times as his mind took a while to process it. Then he looked from the mirror back at Rio then back to the mirror. "Nah!...There's no way I would have done something like tha-" He looked to Rio who was glaring at him intensly. "Oh." There was a brief silence between the two as Jake struggeled to find the right words to say. "Sorry?"
Rio just shook his head and went back to typing out his report.

Onyx yawned as he walked into the school. He wasn't exactly a morning person, he still wasn't even one hundred percent concious either. He wandered around slightly dazed as he did so.

Akira could hear the sound of voiced in the room that she was in. She yawned and stretched then leaned up. "Wha-?" She said as she looked around. "Where the ******** am I?!" Akira looked around at the curtain that was blocking her from the rest of the infirmary. She tugged her hand through her hair then pulled the curtain back. Her eyes widened as she saw Jake in the bed right next to her. Her mouth dropped and she felt her cheeks get hot. Akira quickly pulled the curtain back so she didn't have to see him. Oh great the LAST person I need to see and OF COURSE he's in the bed right next to me....Just my luck. Akira though to herself. She sighed and pulled the curtain back again. She pretended like she didn't see Jake and swung her legs over the edge of the bed. She stood up and walked to the bathroom. Once in there she walked over to the sink and almost screamed at her own reflection. "Why am I so pale...?" She mused. Then it all came rushing back. The ring of fire and the fainting. Akira didn't think about the memories she saw while she was lost in the dark abyss of her mind. They were all to painful. Including the incident that had happened the previous day. "Ughhhh!" Akira groaned and let her head fall into her hands. She felt hot tears start to pour out of her eyes. She looked up at her reflection again and saw the red streaks the hot tears left on her cheeks. "Pathetic...." She said as she looked in the mirror. Anger poured through her. She wiped the tear away and then splashed her face with cold water. "Get it together Akira...Don't let him see your weakness...." She said trying to convince her self. She sighed and then walked out of the bathroom and back to her bed. Akira pulled out her ipod and blasted music looking every where BUT beside her.

Rayvan wrapped her arm in the towel, knowing later she could heal this wound, but for now she felt she deserved to bleed. Sitting down, she held her still bleeding arm. "First off, you might as well stop calling my Amaya, my real name is Rayvan....Rayvan of the Shadows. I know, you know that I was an assassin...but, you didn't know that I was born into the elite group known as the Black Guard," she said looking down at the hardwood desk, not lifting her gaze from it, for she needed to concentrate on the order of events. There as fifteen of us in all, I was given the title Aunbro, which where I came from meant assassin without rival. I was put in charge of the group at a young age. " Reaching down into her pocket, she pulled out the first picture of her and the others. It was the one with her back bare to the camera showing off the burn mark that was still fresh. She tossed it between the tea cups for him to see. "That mark, took three days of constant burning to create...It was a sign of my office and title. The others were to get smaller markings, that showed they were my team...my family. I did not scream or cry then, for I did not want them to see weakness....This was when I was six."

The Headmaster listened carefully to Rayvan, not reacting to what she said. He was surprised at the name of the group, for he had heard of it and knew more about it than he would divulge. After she threw the picture in between the teacups, he picked it up carefully without bumping the tea receptacles. Only revealing a minuscule percentage of the shock he actually felt, he stared at the picture. More of the surprised slipped out as she revealed the age of the Rayvan in the photo.
"You had great stamina and endurance at such a young age," was all he could say. His eyes could not depart the picture, even if he willed them. Finally, he set the picture down. "You tell me this as a confession and for my own knowledge," he said. It wasn't a question. He knew it was neither threat nor warning. When he hired someone, he trusted them to the utmost. If his trust in her was misplaced, he would pay the price without any resistance.
"Thank you for telling me this, Rayvan," he added. He was grateful she trusted him enough to give him this information about herself.

((Delta: I apologize for controlling your character. From what I comprehend, you understand why I resorted to such measure, but be assured that I will not do it again)) Nicolas was grinning, it was his same ole’ grin that made Liriale have butterflies in her stomach. Then he said something…but wasn’t reaching her ears….Dammit! What did he say?! Nicolas’s face slowly turned into a sad expression that tore at Liriale’s heart. Nicolas raised up his right hand, and placed his palm on her forehead, covering her eyes. “WAIT!” she screamed. Liriale awoke, panting, as she sat up in her modest sized bed. She brushed her chestnut bangs off her sweaty forehead as she realized it was just a dream, again. She surveyed her room. I was a fairly large room sectioned into two parts. The first half in front of the entrance door led to the living room slash office space down in a soft oceanic theme in color mainly shades of blue. Off to the side hung a sea green gossamer curtain led into the bedroom and small bathroom. Sighing, she fell back down on her bed and laid there until a knock come on an inner door near bed. There were two doors, one led to the bathroom, but the one knocked on led to Leah’s residence. “Come in.” Liriale groaned in a sleepy voice then turned to see Leah already dressed and holding up two cups of coffee. Leah was wearing black slacks and a light blue long sleeve blouse with a black belt. “You had that dream again, right,” Leah did not need Liriale to answer; she knew and let out a sigh. “Well get dress, drink some coffee, and lets go get something to eat for breakfast.” She said while setting the second pink cup of coffee down on Liriale’s chestnut colored draw, next to a mounted nautilus shell and a stack of medical journals. Leah reached to open the windows, letting the morning sun shine and illuminate the room. Then sipping her own cup she waited for Liriale to wash up and change into brown slacks and a tan blouse. Liriale reached out for the pink mug and said, “Thanks Leah,” before taking a grateful sip. The two quietly sipped in comforting silence until they were finished. “Leave the mugs on my coffee table, I’ll clean them later, but before we go to eat let me stop by the medical office to check on Madame Bone and the patients.” Liriale said and Leah nodded. The two young women were heading down the hall when they bumped into, “Emma!” Liriale cheered then cocked her head to one side as she and Leah looked at the graceful white gown that adorned her. “Oh wow! It’s very beautiful” Liriale commented with a smile. Leah nodded, then added, “Emma, we were just heading to go pick up some breakfast. Would you like to come along?”

Tsuki awoke at the buzzing of her alarm clock. Though she detested the sound and wished to return to dreamland, she was grateful it had worked today. Its functionality was a fickle beast. After she took the book off her chest and placed it on the convenient side-table, she sat up, stretched, and made her way over to the bathroom.
After half an hour of activities that should go unnamed, she was ready. Her outfit consisted of red plaid bottoms that just went past her knee and a black tank top that was decorated with various chains and zippers. Her shoes were black whose edges were torn in various places.
"That's good," she said after looking once in the mirror. She had felt like dressing up today, and she wasn't regretting the decision. After looking at her alarm clock and noticing it was only 8:00, she decided to go to the library to return and get some more books.
Having arrived at the library with her backpack, she returned the books she had finished, all but one, and went to the section she had been to before to scavenge for more novels about great water elemental heroes. She found one, a true story, and decided to check it out. Once she did so, she found a table and began to read.

“Beep Beep BEEEP!!” SWAT!! Silence ensued until groan came from under the white downy covers of a large four-poster bed. “I hate mornings…” said a groggy voice. Nicolas peeked out from the covers, searching for the alarm clock that had rudely woken him, though he didn’t find it until he looked on the floor where it laid upside down. Grumbling, he got up and stretched. Scratching his head of light brown hair, he made his way to the bathroom. Various plants were everywhere. Hanging, potted, on the ground, and on the windowsill, they decorated his entire living quarters.
The Dean slipped into a loose black buttoned up shirt with a dark green undershirt showing and faded denim jeans. He yawned and rubbed his eyes. Nicolas was a night owl for life and did not like to wake up early. Yet, work needed to be done and he still needed to meet with the Headmaster. Looking out the window, he smiled at the memories the floated through his mind and reached for a watering can. He began his morning regime of watering and talking to his plants. He could feel their happiness at his return, the caretaker in his absence was no fun at all, they told him. Well, that is Kamen for you, and until he was done watering his plants door he make his way to the headmaster’s door.
Hands in his pocket, Kamen looked at the door that led to the Headmaster’s office. He didn’t enter, he knew someone was in there and strode over to his own door. Grinning, as he looked over the word ‘DEAN’ in gold lettering and opened his door. Everything was exactly how he had left it. A large organized desk was placed in the furthest part of the long room, in front of a large bay window. The floor was white marble, yet along the sides of both walls were long stretches of planters. These planters had jasmine vines, which creep upwards covering the ivory walls will green leaves and white fragrant flowers.
Taking in a deep breath of the sweet air, Nicolas made his way towards his desk and passed to comfy chairs that were situated in front of it for guests. Walking around his office, he opened the green gossamer curtains to let the sunlight filter in, bouncing off the marble floor and illuminating the office with light. Sighing with a smile he plopped down onto his chair and began to open letters from a pile on his desk. Crumbling the junk mail and tossing it into a wastebasket, which was accompanied by the sound, ‘Score!’

Kyu's eyes cracked open as her ears were filled with the famous Moonlight Sonata. She blindly reached her hand and switched her alarm clock off. The teacher rubbed her eyes softly and then ran her fingers through her messy black hair. Kyu lazily stood an made her way to the bathroom. She took a quick shower and then dressed in a pair of black tight jeans that ran skinny all the way down to her ankels. She threw on a flattering black tank top that stopped at the lip of her jeans. Her black studded belt was buckled in the back as always and a line of studds showed bright against the dark jeans. She smiled as she admired her self on the mirror. She brushed her hair and then left her room. She walked through the halls feeling very chipper. After a few short minutes Kyu arrived to the door to her class room. She smiled and walked in and made her way over to her grand piano. She began to let her fingers wander the keys as she created a new melody.

Amir was already awake at 7:00 am, sharp. Tossing the light blue blanket aside, he got up and stretched gingerly before heading off to the bathroom to wash up. Amir’s room was in the same half-sectioned style as Liriale’s and Nicolas’s, only Amir’s was done in a beach like theme. Portraits of gigantic blue rip-curls and sun setting beachfront adorned his walls. Once finished, he stopped in front of a brown tack board covered in post it notes and letters, but he was reading one in particular.
‘To Do List’ 1) Laundry -soon- 2) Talk to Nicolas –sooner- 3) Return books to library –right away-
“Alright! First stop, the library,” Amir thought and dressed into jean, t-shirt, and shrugged on a hoodie. Picking up his books and bag that were prepared on the coffee table he made his way to the Library. Opening the double doors, he noticed that Leah wasn’t there at the center counter yet, so left the books on the counter with a note explaining that they needed to be checked in. Perusing around he noticed Tsuki was reading at a table and, smiling, went over to see how she was doing.
He placed his dark blue messenger bag on the chair opposite her then sat down with a sigh. He began saying cheerily, “Good morning Tsuki! I hope you don’t mind that I sit here? How are you today? How did you like dinner? Did you see the Dean at all afterward?” While he was talking, he had been rummaging through his bag looking for a sheet of paper that he wanted to show her. It was a draft of a notice seeking for students interested in shadowing the council members, but he couldn’t locate it… dang it, I typed it up yesterday and stuck it in here… Through out this time he didn’t realize that Tsuki was so absorbed in her book and had not noticed his presence.

Tsuki was so engulfed in the story about the true story of Prince Gerard Jonathan, the Beacon of Aurefal, whose water bending saved a whole city, that she hadn't even noticed Amir sit across from her and speak to her. She could hear someone talking, but years of spending time in the library had taught her to automatically tune out voices, even if they seemed to be talking to her. After all, no one wanted to talk to her, the outcast girl who sat in the corner. The girl who only had books as friends. The girl that lied to her teachers about the bruises covering her body. The girl who could never go out because "her father did not permit it."
As she blinked while turning a page, she caused herself to distance herself from reality just enough to notice the man sitting across from her.
"Ah!" she interjected, wondering how long he had been there. He was rifling through his stuff, seeming to be searching for something.
"C-could you repeat that?" Tsuki asked nervously, in case he had said anything important.

“Ah-ha!’ Amir cheered triumphantly as he found the letter tucked in his ‘Mythological Creatures’ text. Turning around his eyes fixed onto Tsuki’s fearful expression and he heard her ask him to “Repeat?” He said aloud, cocking his head to one side in confusion. He saw the book clutched in her hands and remembered that she was very silent as he chattered. Putting the two together, he guessed what happed. Smiling apologetically, he spoke softly, “Sorry Tsuki, it was my fault for interrupting your reading and not checking to see if I had your attention. Never fear, I just went over morning formalities, such as, ‘Good Morning’ and ‘How are you’ and such; so we can begin from there.” He smiled.
“But afterwards, I do have something important to discuss with you, that is if you can bear a moment of my chattering during your adamant reading time,” he teased hoping to relax Tsuki from her anxious state.

Tsuki blushed as he figured out what happened, having taken the blame himself. Her nervous expression changed to a delighted one when he joked about "taking it from there." His important topic intrigued her and stirred up her curiosity, so she placed a paper bookmark, decorated with water droplets, in her page and closed the book before putting it away.
"What is it that you want to show me?" she asked, wanting him to relieve her curiosity. She cared nothing for morning formalities.

“Okay,” Amir began as he tried, as best as he could, to flatten out the flier. “Well, yesterday during the council meeting, we were talking about making an announcement about ‘Student Council Shadowers, SCS’s’ I guess would be the cute nickname, but it is for students interested in joining the Student Council one day. The interested student would contact a representative of the student council, one of the four of us, and apply to shadow one of the council members to see what we do and if they wish to pursue that path. It would be like an introductory into the different roles and the student can pick whom to shadow. It will be on a first come first serve basis since there are only four of us and we are students as well. So, what do you think about the idea, and would you like to join? You seem interested yesterday during the last half you sat in for so I thought you might apply.” Amir smiled and handed her his slightly bent blue and black inked paper with the University’s emblem on top. It read:
….:::::STUDENT COUNCIL SHADOWERS / SCSs::::…..
Students interested in running and holding a position in the Student Government should give this opportunity serious consideration! Being a SCS, you can pick which position to look into and be a sidekick to the current member holding that position. This opportunity will give you insight into how the council works and an extra boost to hold that office when you run in elections!!
Join now because openings are limited to four: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer ~
Contact a council member to join today!!
“Well, you don’t need to give me an answer now of course, no pressure too, but personally I think you would make a great leader. Just mull it over and give me or one of the other members an answer.” He quickly added hoping that the proposal didn’t intimidate her.
