Otaki yawned, and put his blanket around Elli. He quickly dropped asleep, making Elli fall down with him.

Otaki turned over in his sleep, and put his arms around her. He wanted her to be safe, and to be close to him always.

(( guys im writing a story for Language arts in school and I want your opinion on it. this is what i have so far:

“Your eyes, as we said our goodbyes. Can’t get them out of my mind, and I find that I can’t hide from your eyes…” I have never heard such woe in a voice, let alone felt a stranger’s warm tears dripping on my face like rain slowly, and sadly falling. “The ones that took me by surprise, the night you came into my life. Where there’s moonlight, I see your eyes.” The unknown voice, and the unknown song seemed to bring life to my helpless and numb body though I do not know why. At the moment, there are many things I do not know. I do not know who I am, where I am, and what I am. I am lost, lost inside a deep sleep but not yet dead. It is as if I was trapped between worlds, between the living and the dead. But this is not a fantasy story filled with happy and magical things. Unfortunately, this is real life.

It is good that you can still wake from such deep sleeps, as hard as it was for me. Three months in an injury induced coma, according to my doctor leaves you in worse shape than eating twenty hamburgers a day. This was a relatively short period of time, because most comas can last 6-10 months depending on the patient and the cause. My injury was apparently caused by lack of proper equipment and training. I thought it was just a lack of common sense. But in our modern times, everything has to have a proper scientific name. What happened to me? It’s hard for me to remember anything anymore, but everyday my friends come and tell me everything from my name to what happened. I have a severe case of Anterograde amnesia, and I will have it for another twenty-three years. If you do not know what that is, it’s a recurrent amnesia that wipes my short term memory every three days. Yes, I have seen “50 First Dates” and the main character Lucy has the same illness as me except her memory goes every time she goes to sleep. Plus I am a male, and I don’t think anybody will be trying to make me fall in love with them over and over again. But I reckon my love isn’t taking this too well.

My beautiful Delilah, has been with me since the beginning. She was my childhood crush, and my teenage mate, and soon to be my wife. I had proposed to her five months before the accident, and we were supposed to be married just a week after the accident. It was really hard for her, because our wedding was postponed and I was at the brink of death. But my Delilah was not only beautiful, she was strong. Each and every day I was at the hospital, she would be right beside me making sure I don’t let go. She taught me to hold on, and she taught me to value life. She would sing for me, just so I know she was still there. When I finally woke up, I told her I could feel the warmth from her hand, guiding me. Her words and her songs still ring through my ears, as a reminder of her love for me.

its a sad, love story smile it almost made my friend cry))

((awh, sweet... I didn't cry though... I rarely cry anymore. only book I've ever read that made me NEAR cry was Bridge to Terabithia... I was so sad when Leslie died...))

Elli was still in Otaki's arms, sound asleep.

Elli stirred a bit, opening her eyes. "Hm?" She blinked, blushing a bit at the position she was in.
