Alexis landed silently on a quiet beach, her thrusters softening the sound of her landing. The chamber opened with a hiss. The view took her breath away. Soft waves lapped lazyily on the beach's edge as seagulls sang their peiceful song... The sun's setting rays danced as Alexis rose from her position. Looking peacefully into the horizen, she ignored the annoyed cries of her partner. This was like heaven. As time passed his cries grew louder, then suddenly. SCHICK! Alexis whirled around to see Andre rolling the kinks out of his shoulders.

"God, it's cramped in there..." he mumbled to himself. Andre had cut himself out of the compartment. Alexis looked in horror at the thick slabs of ripped up metal lay strewn across the ground. He'd destroyed a part of her gundum.

"YOU b*****d!" she roared, charging at him, barefisted. He easily slipped past her punch and continued stretching.

"Not my fault," he stated indifferently. "You wouldn't let me out." Alexis whipped around, a snarl embedded on her face. She knew he was right, but still. Finally, she let out a deep, calming breath and analyzed the damage. It would be a day's worth. Andre waltzed up behind her, trying to take a peek at what she was looking at. "You know..." he drawled. "You don't really need that compartment. It's like extra baggage. Slows you down a whole lot."

"I know, You Idiot," she hissed through gritted teeth. "But, you do need it." He only smiled and inched up next to her.

"Then I guess we'll have to sit in the same c**k-" BAM! The back of her hand slammed mercilessly into his face before he could even think to finish his sentence.

"I'll fix it after the mission," she said angrily. "Now go get us something to eat."

[[Are you guys eventually coming to Africa? It affects my plot, if you don't.]]

((LOL Saki. I was wondering if you could perhaps do some major damge in Africa, going through several missions to take down EAF facilities there, and even take over the Victoria base.))



For a brief moment, Ray's mouth was left open, and he was almost in denial of it. The Shift had changed. Its overall red outlook took the form of dark purple, with yellow stripes over its blackened legs and enlarged shoulders. He didn't recognize those spikes to be that large before, and he knew it wasn't just because he was now looking at its uper body more closely. The GUNDAM's face was clearer than ever, and for the first time, he felt some kind of connection to it. Its expression, was almost understandable to him. "He looks strong... and glad," he did not quite understand it himself, but he smiled passionately at the mobile suit, his shaking maroon eyes meeting its crystal green.

Ms. Tsugumi glanced over to him and smiled at his overwhelmed face, proceeding onwards to speak, gazing over the suit, "HD-0051-ZX Shift GUNDAM of the UED, correct?"

Ray noded.

"Wrong," she shook her head, her wavy hair floating about, "It no longer has the serial number that bound it with the UED. It's now the Shift GUNDAM of the EAF, a light of hope that could shift this worsening tide of war."

Ray felt languid as he floated and frowned, lightly placing his hands unto the thick windows. That just reminded him of his situation, of what he got involved with. He remembered leaving Regiem 23, his home, where all his family and friends were, never to be able to come back again under the circumstances. And Regiem 07. He saw with his very eyes as its once peaceful environment collapsed. Buildings fell over each other and broke down, about to be pulverized by the main pillar's fall. The sky and earth were literally torn apart, and sucked into the dark void of space, while being engulfed by growing flames. Houses, schools, all the trees and the very essence of normal life destroyed. His teary eyes winced in pain as to imagine his colony turn out like that. He gritted his teath and held his fists as he kept himself from crying.

Doctor Geas let go of Ray's shoulder, giving him a moment, yet not understanding what between Tsugumi's lines made him sulk. Tsugumi realized that she wasn't to mention war to him, a civilian. She felt pained and immediately reached out to him.

Two gentle arms wrapped themselves around Ray, and Tsugumi pulled him towards her in a motherly embrace. Ray's head rested upon her bossom, and his shaking hands held her shoulders desperately. "IIt's okay to cry. It's always okay... to let it all out..." She said softly, in a sweet tone. She looked upon the GUNDAM, eyes filled with hope, Ray looked up, and looked onwards to the Shift as well. "Strength," she began, "With this strength I entrust upon you, please Ray, promise me. Use it not for the sake of the EAF, but for good will. It may look just as distinctive as any other GUNDAM, but I see... something different about it. I believe that with this light of strength, you shall save countless lives and put an end to this gruesome war. Please, don't let what happened in Regiem 07 happen to any other colony."

Her voice came to break down. Ray looked up on her at what she spoke of, unable to comprehend on what she just said, and found her crying as well. He fell silent as he came to realize that she lost some friends there, probably working on other military stations, not able to escape thei explosion. 'As you wish, Mrs. Donton...' Ray's eyes turned crimson in a brief moment as he lowered his head, immediately bewildered at the thought. The name once again entered into his mind. He felt it to be someone he knew well and loved and respected so much, but she was just all to hazy in his memories. "Yes, Ms. tsugumi," he said firmly, looking up to her with strong willfull eyes, "I'll fulfil your wish."

Reo walks from his GUNDAM and notices Ray and another group of people, but he decides to walk towards the group of people prepareing to launch from the Kurogane to the colony.They soon launch with a total of six people.Reo places a gun and knife on his person just incase someone might be hostil on the colony.They soon land and start to spread in single groups.Reo soon walks over by the storage houses and finds open boxes with food and water bottles scavedged all over he soon pulls out his gun and begins walking straight into the open building.He finds someone laying by the wall and it was a young girl about 6 years old and she began to talk."Daddy why did you leave me?"Said the girl looking directly at Reo.
"Your dad?Hey girl how did you survive?Said Reo.You told me how to survive and how could you forget my name... you cant remember your only daughters name...It's Stella remember now.......Daddy I feel sleepy I'm going to take a nap*sigh*goodnight daddy.Said Stella.Wait girl crap gotta take her to the docter she might be sick from all this food...Said Reo as he picks up Stella the young girl and rushes her back to the ship to meet up with everybody who soon rushes onboard the small craft and they arrive to the Kurogane to meet a group of docters who told Reo to folow them to the infermary.They soon arrive to the large examaning room to study the young girl."She has a stomach virus and is very fituiged from being alone for such a long time.I'm very surprised at how....being interupted by Stella.He taught me daddy told me how to survive...Said Stella.But im not her dad?Said Reo.Well you must resemble him... and she seems real attatched to you.... hrm.... she'll be your responsability.Said lead doctor.What?Wait?Why should i take care of her?Well she thinks shes your daughter and I think you could use a little company after what happend...Said lead docter.Ok, I'll take care of her sir.Said Reo.Ok, just sit here and watch her for a while till I return, well give her an IQ test and to test her physicle and mental health before we can let her roam.Said lead doctor.Yes, i understand.Said Reo.Now listen Reo you will make her disicions because you are her guardian now.You make every medical desision she must recive.Said lead doctor.I understand.Said Reo.

Reo's world has been totaly upsidedowned by this event he now has a daughter to take care of now.

An hour or so after the search in the abandond colony they brought back a young girl named Stella and several crates of food and water.

**Infermary,Kurogane***
"Now Stella were giving you this paper it will test how smart you are with machines, science, math and language now take your time no rushing ok?Said doctor.Ok, I'll be sure to do my best!Said Stella.Now Stella do you remember what happend before you were alone?Said Reo.Reo wait let her finishe her test...Said doctor.Ok ill wait.Said Reo

Soon Reo and Stella go to the messhall to get some lunch.

"Afermative," Eita said, "You have clearance to land..."

Elzam was scouring the ship, and ran into a small girl... "Oof... Ah, Rin! I'm sorry." Rin looked at him, and replied monotonely, "Current status normal, all systems at 100%" Elzam nodded, and thought for a moment, "Rin, do you know what a personality is?" He asked her, to which she replied, "Negative, Captain Elzam." "Great... Well..." Elzam started, and scratched his head, "This is hard to explain... well, A personality is... something that makes a person unique... and... well, when you were created, you lost that... Would you like me to try and find it for you...?" Rin nodded, and said, "Affermative, Captain Elzam." Elzam smiled, "Great!" He said, "Now... who would have it... and where..." He then blinked, and said, "I know." He turned to Rin, and asked, "Do you know where Tsugumi Takakura is, Rin?" "Affermative. Ms Tsugumi Takakura is currently at the hangar..." "Right. Let's go!" Elzam took Rin's hand, and took her to the hangar... Once they got there, Elzam said, "Now, just go up and ask Tsugumi for your personality data... okay?" "Affermative" She replied, and entered the hangar.

Elzam smiled, and headed to the mess hall, and saw... Reo, and a little girl. "Ah, Hello, Reo! Who is this?" He asked him, with a smile.

"Ah, Hello, Stella... I'm Elzam, the captain of this ship..." Elzam said, and got on the ground, so that they were at the same level, "Where did you come form?"
