Seto caught the shorter boy by the shirt, keeping him from making it any farther than the door. He lifted him up to eye level. "What. Happened. Here?" His voice was a frightening calm.

Ryou blushed darking and grabbed the back of Seto's shirt. "Seto! Please! Let him go!" He pleaded, tears falling more rapidly.

Ryou's eyes widened and he shook his head, gripping Seto's shirt. "N-No! I mean! He's my friend, Seto!"

Seto brushed away a few tears of his own. "I think, I need to think about things for a while. Yes, that's exactly what I need." Still mumbling to himself, he walked away, leaving Ryou and Jou behind.

"Damn it Kaiba! You stay right here! I was going to run, but I've got something to say now!" Jou shouted at Kaiba's back. He knew it probably wouldn't work, but it was all he could do to help. Ryou was still his friend. If Ryou and Kaiba broke up, Jou didn't want it to be because of him.
