*Mastema nodded* Precisely. Most of the time, I do not even need my allies to do much work. So he will be under your "command" most of the time. *He gave the girl a light smirk*
Proto: *The eye blinks once when the hand appears in front of him. Proto then seems to come back completely and turns his head to face Nana. After a moment of a blank, almost haunting stare, Proto slowly nods his head, followed by a hesitant salute*

*Trilla's recall didn't seem to be half bad, this was probably a trait picked up from Nana, like Micha's ability to stay awake for umpteen days on end. So, "most of the time" Zeph was hers, and hers alone? Then "most of the time" she would play and perhaps finally make Zeph her friend. Again, Mastema had made the child happy*
Trilla: 4laugh Thank you papa! heart
*Nana could tell something was wrong, it was so obvious. Something was bothering Proto, but what? It was often like a game of cirades when talking with Proto, so could Nana figure out what Proto would try to tell her, if Proto told her anything at all*
o.o
Something is wrong... Proto... what is it?

*He chuckled* You are welcome, Trilla. Just be sure not to order your "servant" to do too many duties it does not wish to do... otherwise he could become ill willed towards you.
Proto: *Oh if there was one person that Proto would tell more gladly than anyone else, it was Nana. However, what was the use? Nana would not understand his language. How could possibly express what was bothering him with some light hearted charades. Proto gives her the only gesture he could right now. He waves his hand from side to side and shook his head, indicating to Nana that there was nothing to say*....... *Unfortunately, Nana would need someone to translate for her if she wanted Proto to talk. So far, Zio and Zeno were two under Mastema's command. Neither of them were really "close" to Proto. The only other who for sure understood Proto, was the absent Thanatos*

*Only half understanding in all truth, Trilla nods. As long as she and Zeph could see eachother "most of the time" then Trilla was happy*
Trilla: o.o Ok.
*Nana was concerned for Proto, what was wrong? How could Proto tell her? There was always the option of writing it down, or perhaps typing it out, or drawing? It was possible, but would it help any? If anything at least the answers would be understandable, right?*
o.o;
...but--

*Mastema reached one of his hands over and lightly patted his palm on the child's head* It is quite unusual for a child your age to have a servant, you know? I do hope you will be careful with this new responsibility.
Proto: *He knew Nana was concerned for him, but there was no point in dwelling on something he would never be able to explain. Seeing that Nana would still not leave him as he was, Proto decided to "act like himself." Proto stops his gestures, stands up straight moves to the door, and opens it for Nana. With as much fake enthusiasm as the bot could muster, he saluted Nana again with his free hand*

*Zeph could do many things Trilla found fantastic, and there were many things he couldn't do that were just the same. Eating for instance, Trilla needed to eat, but Zeph didn't. Actually Trilla still hadn't eaten for quite some time. Her own energy reserve seemed high enough to keep her going for a while yet, but she needed food soon, perhaps before bed*
Trilla: o.o Trilla will!
*Nana nodded lighly to Proto. There was no way to convey what needed to be said, so Proto was pushing Nana away, at least for now*
--_--
I understand... all right, I'll go.
*With a slightly slowed pace, Nana slowly makes her way from the building past Proto and out to the rest of the citadel. Nana did not yet know of Orias, but Mastema could always tell her later. Hopefully before running into him however. Just one more unknown element to be introduced into the citadel environment. Just one more unknown element that would be around her children*

*Mastema nodded and pulled his hand back* Very well. I have trust in your ability. *That was, though Trilla may not understand it as such, a very high praise coming from a dark figure like Mastema*
Proto: *Proto stood still for quite some time, looking out the door until Nana dissappeared from normal view. It did not help him any that she was worrying over something she would not be able to help. She had children and a family to watch over..... what could she possibly do to help his brothers. It was a miracle she'd even brought Proto into existence. The citadel had hundreds if not thousands of droids in its defense, yet one loss had driven an arrow through Proto's "psyche." Proto seemed to go blank again for a time, when suddenly, without his even meaning to, he slammed the door shut, shattered the glass in its frame. He could hear Zio's alarms going off in his head about a break in. Proto shut them up before they got anywhere, and quickly had Zio replace the glass and get rid of the broken pieces. Proto walked back to his normal spot, and turned with a curious gaze to the shield that leaned agains the wall*....... *If his brother had had that shield..... would he have been spared destruction?*

*Trilla smiles broadly, then sits with her back to one of the arms of Mastema's thrown as best she can. Perhaps that was something Nana could incorperate into their next lesson, "how to move your wings". Already they could move naturally, but without control, and that control was exactly what Nana would teach them*
Trilla: ^__^
*Nana would wander slightly on her way to the library taking her time, and would do something she hadn't done in a while, pray. For what though? Proto, Mastema, Trilla, Micha, Eecheb, Thanatos, the entire citadel? That was only for Nana to know*

*Mastema sat back, relaxing. He didn't mind Trilla's attendance, for it was not as if she could even understand what the screens were telling him. It had been long enough. Telepathically, Mastema gave the green light for the next wave of the invasion to launch. The next unit would be lead by the enigmatic, monstrous Omega Zenogais*

*Orias catches a glimpse of someone in the corner of his eye* Hmm? *Teleports behind Nana, thinking he could have some fun and sticks his arm out, sending large ice pillars up all around Nana*

*Nana jumps, out of shock when the pillars of ice, shoot up from the ground. Backing up, Nana bumps into another, she was surrounded by ice on all sides. Nana pulls her wings in tightly to her back, there was a darker aura nearby. Not angelic, but perhaps demonic? Obviously this was something not expected, as Mastema had yet to tell Nana of the new guest, which she was just now discovering*
o.o !!
A demon, here?!

*Nana is taken a back, how did such a creature get inside of the citadel. It was her children's safety that bothered her more than her own*
o.o !!
T--That's none of your concern!
*Nana wasn't about to answer any questions presented to her by a demon, and in her own home. She would fight if she had too, and she could more than handle defending herself against such a creature. If he tried anything, then he would receive an unpleasant surprise*

*Nana had to be brave, if not for herself then for those she wanted to protect. If this thing was left to roam free inside of the barrier, then her children.....*
=_=
I won't tell you!
*Nana could get out of the trap, but not until after taking care of the demon*
