Just get me anything, please...Bartender *Slides a coin across the counter top* The bar's finest, and only.

I is really happy cause I found a copy of Parasite Eve for 5 bucks at a flea market...And it works ha ha. Slowly whittling down the list of games that I really want to get.
Wesker Wine it is.*pours contents into a wine glass, and then gives it to him.*

Hell no I don't want RE to happen! Lol, we'd all be dead. Except maybe Elliot... I think he's the only one who actually has ready access to firearms.

Welcome to the Guild, by the way smile .

Thankee Bartender.

@Mjolnir: Ha ha, I got LoD from my friend for my birthday (Got it back, that is, ha ha). One of my favorite RPGs EVERZ!!!

Shoo, I got access to a machete, chainsaw, and magnum, all in the vicinity of my bed. I'm definitely ready for a Zapocolypse.

Good News, everybody! You're going on a mission of certain death! Get ready!

of course we'd all die. X3 i dislike ppl who say that "oh, i won't die i know how to kill zombies blah blah" it makes them sound stupid to me. mainly because if a zombie outbreak were to happen, the first thing he/she would do is panic and probably get eaten or bit in the process. but yeah...we'd die...unless....we had....cake biggrin

Wow! This weekend has been absolutely crazy! Tons of stuff happened, but I got Mirror's Edge and beat it last night. I have to say... That was such a twist on the tradition action genre. It was really refreshing, and tons of fun. Nothing like sliding down the side of a slanted roof and leaping over a large gap to another building, all the while looking down oh say... 50 stories. It's such an adrenaline-induced game. I highly, highly recommend it. The only problem is that it's pretty short. Every minute of it though is great, and there are time trials and such where you can race other peoples' ghosts for the best time. Lots of replay value, too. There are also bags to collect in each level to unlock artwork, videos, and music. So good...

Don't listen to him, kids. If you want a game where you can jump roof to roof, run up walls, and fly a LOT higher than 50 little stories, check out Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. Now THERE'S an adrenalin rush. And it's not in first person, so you get to see your awesome character on screen.

Bio, some of us enjoy first-person perspective. >_> It is a very fun game. Just because you have a fit when a game is first-person doesn't mean others won't enjoy it. And I can assure you that swinging webs through a city beating up the bad guy isn't as much of an adrenaline rush as seven guys and a helicopter gunning for you full-strength, guns blazing as you frantically search for where to go next and pray that the jump you just made won't be your last.

I'd say Mirror's Edge was so-so. It was a nice till I started dieing so many times because the game only points to the checkpoint instead of giving you hints on where to go when you've died in the same spot ten times do to trial and error.almost made me throw my controller across the room.but it does get fun after you finally figure out how to get through the level without dieing.I'd recommend it a rental at best.

But the point of the game is to find out where to go next. It tells you where B is from A, and it's your job to platform your way there. And when you've got a bunch of guys breathing down your neck, it adds some challenge. And if you're unsure of a jump, there's always Reaction Time to vastly increase your chances.

Have you played Web of Shadows? Doesn't sound like you have.

I played the demo of Mirror's Edge, and it wasn't nearly as intense as the first 5 minutes of Web of Shadow's gameplay was. Not only are you soaring above high rise buildings of Manhattan, but you're doing it an an incredible speed. It's the true feeling of freedom.

Oh, and I'll have you know, I'm almost half way through Resistance, which is a first person shooter. And I'm enjoying it a whole bunch.

Dunno what the demo is like of Mirror's Edge, but the game is about two things: frenetic chases/running away and puzzles/platforming. The only Spider-Man I've played is 2 and I really liked it, but Mirror's Edge is just so new (the concept and all) that I was hooked.

As for enjoying Resistance, good! biggrin You should like BioShock then.
