Frikken awesome Overseer >w<
and I know I look at things with a lower perspective, But it leaves one far less vulnerable to deception. I have to ask what gaslighting would happen to be though 8<

I don't know what gaslighting is either......but I'm pretty sure it's not good. I'll google it @Storm: Sorry I couldn't offer any words of advice, but I'm horrible at consoling people EDIT: Oh wow, apparently gaslighting is...someone doing things to you so that you think you're crazy. Seems kinda cruel, but it might be fun if not done maliciously (or if you tell them that you've been screwing with 'em)....kinda like a prank?

Gaslighting takes its name from the 1930's-ish movie Gaslight, which features a husband plotting against his wife for her money. He engineers the gas lights in the house to flicker at intervals and implies to her that she's the only one who can see them flickering, to convince her she's losing her mind. Gaslighting is therefore tricking somebody to the extent that they begin to doubt their own perception and sanity. I read a feminist blogger recently describe the kind of psychological games where you get upset at somebody for, say, making you wait for them for three hours after they said they'd be there, and they tell you "Calm down, you're so sensitive!", i.e basically pushing the blame onto you for something you didn't do, forcing you to question your own mental stability i.e "Am I really just over-sensitive?"
So yes, it's a form of psychological abuse that covers a wide range of controlling techniques. I dont think Hana meant it badly though!
