Chervil sat at a table in a cafe eying at all the people that walked by suspiciously, in her hand was a doll that was meant to be an interpretation of the ghostly woman the people here worshiped. "....It's kinda creepy how they give you these as you enter the village..." She said making the doll dance around.

Chloe looks around the cafe as well, she was used to seeing these kinds of things especially at this particular day. It was ironically November 2nd...Day of the Dead..it was Halloween for them and she sees little girls dressed up in traditional dresses with half of their faces painted in skull like make up as they rehearsed for their dancing recital.
Also the boys were just playing around, their faces also half painted with skill paint, hell mostly everyone in the town had the same painting. She looks at the doll in her hand and sighs.
"I find it flipping hilarious how they worshiped the same person they fear...but then again..what better way to get someone to respect you." She commented, as she left her doll sitting in front of her in the cafe.
She looks at her team again, noticing their expressions, Esme didn't really seem to mind, Chloe thought that she wouldn't been a little spooked, but she was tough.
"So....at night...we're heading for the ruins then? Careful though..in this particular night..we might get some gutsy or drunk people trying to also get a sneak peak at The Santa Muerte." She explained to them.

Chervil nodded, while still playing with the doll. "If we find someone suspicious enough...maybe we can find the...the...Santa Muerte thing...." She said.
Having enough of the creepy doll, she threw it into the street. "Stupid thing was gving me the heebie jeebies" She shivered. Nodding in agreement with Shadow, she smiled, "Mexico does seem like an interesting place though...

Chloe gives a small laugh, looking at them still, then at the streets, watching the people walk by and preparing their festivities for the night.
"Only in the daylight...does it seem pretty...s**t gets pretty ugly at night. So...here's my friend advice from a native....DON'T go out alone...you're just asking for trouble....and keep an eye out for anything that moves." She warns them, her voice serious as she kept staring out in the streets, as if she was trying to memorize all of the details.
From her experience, it was better to get a good background knowledge of the terrain, so you won't get stuck or have it used against you.
"Soo...what's our plan..are we all going to head there first..or are we going to scout out and have a back up team?" She suggests, looking at her team again with a smile on her face.
Although, she can tell that people were looking at the group suspiciously, they already knew they were outsiders, the uniforms gave it away.
Now come in the rats...... She said mentally, keeping a close lookout from the corners of her eyes on the people in the cafe, most of them seem to be shady characters all right.
((DAMN...I'm on a roll. xd ))

Shadow tightened the back of his headband so the bangs where out of his eyes he observed the area obviously having the feeling he was being watched and put one hadon his bow but didnt pullit out as he observed the faces of the people "You know the terrian and pwoplw here betterthen us you decide" he said

Chloe looks a bit surprised at what Shadow said, she tilts her head a bit,Oh...is that you saying I'm head of this operation?" She responded, smiling at him to show that she was joking, and also playfully sticking out her tongue at him.
She leans back on her chair, looking at the crowd, and then an uneasy tension filled the air, almost too quiet, you could hear a pin drop.
Damn...shits gonna hit the fan soon...... She said mentally, then almost immediately, a gang of people walked up and to the group, they looked like gangsters, since their had their tattoos showing proudly, and their smug expressions on their faces.
Esme also looked at the group with a harden glare, as if she was expecting them to make the first move. Chloe on the other hand, looks at them somewhat leisurely...as if she seen this a million times...and she has actually.
((Anyone up for a cafe fight?? xd ))
