Tessen {Small war fan}
The tessen is used normally as a signal device more than a weapon and is often carried by kunoichis, the tessen can be made of wood and paper as well as iron and paper. Normally the tessen is combined with basic taijutsu and used as a parrying tool or as an implement to direct strength in a more concentrated form.
Damage: 2 - 5 + str. mod.
Range: Melee.
Special: Can be used as signal device to make innuendos along ninjas. +4 to blocking checks. +4 to Seduction or Sleight of Hand for female characters when concealing. You can also Perform to crowds with tessen tricks!
Dual Wield: Yes, -4 to attack roll.

Ninja Weapons (Melee): This skill measures your skill with a certain melee weapon type thus allowing you to deal more damage to your opponents based on the skill lvl. You must select a weapon type when picking this skill and must pick multiple depending on the number of melee weapons you use. eg. Ninja Weapons (Katana), Ninja Weapons (Naginata)
Bonus: Every 4 skill points will grant you + 1 – 2 damage. Also every 10 skill points will grant you a +2 to your attack roll.

For you it would just be 2-5 Since her strength mod is +0.

You forgot weapon skill.

Meaning she gets nothing on her attack rolls.

Cleric you can't add Tessen to your attack roll.

Read this again carefully...

As far as I've always known having 2 attack turns starts at level 6. So 6/1, 11/6/1 etc. I read the Abilities thread again and it isn't actually clear... sorry! I'll change it.

Sakurayuki's taijutsu damage is actually 2 - 8. Base damage of taijutsu = 1 - 6, plus str mod = still 1 - 6, and then plus Taijutsu skill bonus (+1-2 per 4 points) = 2 - 8.

So basically your rolls:

Attack = 5(1D20) + 5(Attack Melee) + 4(Taijutsu) = 14
Attack = 15(1D20) + 0(Attack Melee) + 4(Taijutsu) = 19

Only the first one would count and it would be d20 [5] + Attack Melee [5] + Taijutsu bonus [0] = 10. (Which is a miss)

Sorry for the confusion u_u But next time you're not sure, just do it like you did just now :3 And then we can fix it (and you can help fix the system too u_u XD)

Break out the tessen I say! Or keep your distance and used ranged attack... idk... whatever you think is best 3nodding

Cleric it is best to stick to one skill, and work it up, and work up supporting skills as well.

Main stats should work out to what you need to most as well...

Like, maybe change it to str or dex mod + 3 for 10 in taijutsu/weapon skill? Just seems OP if it's the full skill, means the dice is barely needed by the looks of that...

Also Octopus is OP, it will kill us all... It doesn't need to roll to get past dodge bonus... of any of us... also we can barely get over it's dodge... 20 critical should be applied to the genins, or the octopus will win...

Actual blocking I don't think is OP as it takes two dice rolls. So basically you are sacrificing two attacks in order to block that one. The octopus one, yea, maybe just a bit >.>

I think the octopus' dodge is reachable (It's 12.) It's just the blocking that's a bit of a pain >.>

Hey, octopus just wanted to have a nice nap, until some kids started making trouble on its lawn... sad

Whats grapple DC for Mizuiro and Sakurayuk?

EDIT: Also, I want to know the DC to lift the octopus from the water and throw it. If over 42 lbs... meh.

Lift 10 pounds: 12 + 2 per 5 pounds.
Push/Pull 10 pounds: 12 + 2 per 5 pounds.

Wait... wouldn't carrying people then be impossible unless you were like... a Jounin?

EDIT 2: Looked it up, this is the info on the Giant Pacific Octopus

Size:
9.75 to 16 ft (3 to 5 m)
Weight:
22 to 110 lbs (10 to 50 kg)

So if it's bigger then that... @_@


Oh and is it level that really determines attack turns?

What if your Attack Melee or Range is 6+? Then you would have 6 / 1 on one of those right? Mizuiro has 8 Attack Melee and 8 Attack Ranged. So it's 8 / 3 right?

But I was thinking how, a mod added to a skill that is 0 still increases it by how much the mod is... And than skill because +3 or what ever.

So you would think attack range/melee would work the same way.

if i understand what you're saying you mean like how say you have str of 14 thats +2 mod Basically that gets added to your 5 base attack making it a 7 instead of just 5.

Edit: It doesn't add to your base attack sorry it adds to your melee which is your base attack PLUS your mod. same principle for ranged but with dex instead of str
