As soon as they were all situated in the car, Koji instinctively pulled out his mini-sketchbook from his pocket and started doodling. "Hmm... I dunno, a burger 'n fries are always good for me. Er.. unless you guys wanted something like a restaurant setting. Then I'm down with whatever."
He looked up as the were pulling out just in time to see the other car pull in. Koji hadn't been paying too much attention to what had been going on around the house since the funeral, so he didn't think much of who was in the car. "I'm glad to see Luciano's out and about. Wonder if he's feeling any better?" He thought.

Luciano was going to run out and scream at Waffle, but he had to tend to Sabe. What Waffle did was NOT called for, and if Luciano wasn't so buzzed he would teach her a lesson. . But what was the point? Luciano wasn't sure what he was supposed to do now. He had his own s**t to deal with. . But for now, he had to put all of that aside and take care of Sabe. The nerve of that evil b***h Waffle. . Johnny sat on the roof of HQ eating a Turkey club sandwhich and washing it down with a bottle of diet soda. Angels don't really need to eat, Johnny just wanted something to do while people in the household were out for a while. But as he was eating he heard the sound of wings flap and then a small 'Thump' in the spot to him, ". . Aurielle. Nice to see you." "Jon," Johnny looked up at the woman in a similar uniform to his, and invited her to sit with him. She did, and crossed her legs, and she said "How is Gaia treating you so far?" Johnny wiped the corner of his lips with a napkin and then smiled at her, "Pretty well. The locals seem nice. The food isn't so bad, either." Putting the stuff aside, Johnny turned so that he was facing Aurielle now. He asked, "So. . What brings you here?" Aurielle cleared her throat and then she said "I've been assigned to Gaia- along with a few hundred others."
"That's great!"
"Not really, Jon. Because, you see,. . Our Squad is needed only when a big threat from the other side is at large. ."
Johnny let out a 'Hmm' and then he replied, "Yes, I remember. . Who assigned you and your Squad?"
"Duriel did. And he said that the order came from his superior. ."
"Duriel? But. . He's not even high enough in our ranks to be giving us orders. ." "That's what I thought. . Unless he was just recently promoted, and I didn't know?"
"Oh, No, we would most definitely know. Ryiel would tell everyone in the garrison as if it were His promotion."
"I forgot about him for a moment. ."
"So does everyone else."
Aurielle smiled and they fell silent for a moment. . But that silence was broken by Aurielle, ". . I heard you told the humanoid about our secrets. . Had anyone been listening, you would've been in so much trouble, Jon."
"Yes, About that. . WHY was nobody listening? Someone is always listening to us. What's going on?"
"To be honest, I don't have the slightest clue. Lately everyone has been quiet. A little too quiet. . Things haven't been this quiet since the Fall of Azrael. . I don't like it."
Johnny sat back so that his hands were keeping him supported. He remembered the last time he and his brothers and sisters fought amongst themselves. All of the places, and people, that needed protecting were left wide open for the other side to make a great assault. Johnny vowed to never let that happen again.
Johnny then said to Aurielle, "Well. . . Give them something to talk about." He smiled at her, Aurielle smiled back and she said, "What will you have me say?" Johnny, keeping his smile, he shrugged and said "Tell them where I landed, and what I landed on, of course. Everyone loves hearing an embarrassing story- When it's about someone else. . Tell them about mine. Get them talking. Tell them 'Damage control' is direly needed. ." Aurielle laughed and nodded, "Alright," She got to her feet, straightened herself up, and then she said "I'll get them talking about you. . Just prepare yourself, because they're not going to let you live it down."
"I know. . I'm actually counting on it."
They gave each other more smiles, and then Johnny turned so to the position he was originally facing. He heard Aurielle fly off- Probably back to The Heavens- and he said under his breath, "I hope everyone is ok. ."

Sabe wound up lying on the bed. Luciano hadn't changed the sheets before he was set down on the bed, but Sabe didn't care about the sheets. He curled up and stayed there, hoping that he wouldn't cause more problems just by being there; he felt it was bad enough to ask someone who needed help for theirs.
He started crying when he got comfortable, but then quickly silenced to it a whimper. No more crying, you p***y. Get over it.

Once Rosemary had finished her drink she folded away the newspaper and pulled out her cellphone. Se dialed her contact's number, hoping the hot-headed human wasn't in prison. To her relief Kevin, her contact answered after the second ring.
"Kevin," he said in his gruffly voice. Rosemary answered promptly, "Hello darling. How are you today?" "We open at 9." he disconnected the line and Rose smiled.
"Now lets find someone to tag along. she stood up and went in search of anyone that was still in HQ.

Skotti came up from the practice range, holding his rifles. "Ah, perfect calibration , a clean rifle is a happy, or should I say, deadly rifle, heh" skotti said to himself.
As he made his way back to the weapons cache in his office, he came across a violet colored elf on her phone. "Hello miss rosemary, how are you today?" he asked.

Rosemary heard someone say her name and turned around to see Skotti. "Oh! Hello Skotti. You are just the elf I'm looking for! Would you be interested in coming along on a small vampire hunt? It was Louie's bounty but he's going to be out of commission for a little while and theres a deadline on the target."

Skotti smiled at the prospect "I have not hunted a bounty in the longest time! I have been wanting to test my new magnums" Skotti said as he thought about it. He finally smiled and nodded "Ok, I'm in, just tell me what I need to do!" he sai, excited.

Rosemary grinned, "Great! For the moment just get ready. We're going to be meeting one of Louie's contacts in about an hour. I'm hoping the contact is going to have information on where the vampire has disappeared too." Rose tucked her phone away in her pocket and pulled out a piece of paper with a mugshot on it of a crazed man with very short hair large red eyes. She handed it to Skotti. "The target is a new born vampire named Henry Sharp. He's wanted for the murder of his wife and children. As an added bonus this man used to be one of the many lawyers for the Kuros'. They want him finished off as well...The Don isn't happy, its bad for business to have a blood sucker on the legal team. If we're lucky we can get to him before sunset if the contact decides to corporate."

Luciano let Sabe nap on his bed, Luciano was going to go lay down on his couch when he heard a tap on his balcony door. He turned around to see Johnny smirk and wave. Luciano let out a heavy sigh and he said, "Wonderful." He walked over and opened the door, "Yes?" He said "What d'you need?" Johnny gently pulled Luciano out onto the balcony with him and closed the door, "Checking on one of my favourite charges, of course- And I've a job for you to do." Luciano sighed and he said, "I'm listening Not like I have a choice anyway." "Nope! You don't have a choice! This is an assignment for just you, though. You are going to do it, and you are going to like it!"
Luciano brushed his dirty hair back with his hand and he said "So what do I need to do?" Johnny smiled and sat on the railing, He said ". . Remember that Church you used to go to? Before you went all Emo after you lost the love of your life?"
"Get to the point. Tell me what I have to do. ."
"Fine. You are to help repair it; Your cousin Crucificcio is already on the job, but you need to lend a hand. Before you ask why, I'll just tell you that: Most of the details I can't let you in on, but what I can tell you is that: A few hundred of my friends are here now. . Churches are a symbol of our territory, and it's to provide protection for you lovely little people. . Help your cousin fix the Church, starting tomorrow."
"Wait. . . Territory? Protection?"
"(Sigh) Fine. I'll tell you- Not that it's any of your business- I'm starting to believe that The Other Side of our spectrum is planning a large assault on my friends and I. If we fix up a Church, it will put up a protective barrier within the area that it was built in. Think of it as those things that ward off Mosquitoes, only these Mosquitoes will unwillingly take control of your body and force you to do bad things- Even make you buy lottery tickets and pitch a fit when you lose!" Luciano couldn't believe what he was hearing.
Luciano replied, ". . . If I do this, will you-" "-No. I won't. First of all, she was killed for a reason. Second of all, I'm here helping your stupid a** fix what you ******** up. The fact that I'm here now, giving you jobs to do for my friends and I- To protect you Gaians- you should be telling your superior 'Oh Skotti! Can we keep him, please??' And third, It's not in my power to do such a thing anyway, and even if I could you know I wouldn't. . Now just do as I say. No questions, or negotiations. Just do as you're told." Luciano was ready to cry. He missed Michelle so much. But he softly nodded at Johnny and replied "Fine. . I will help."
Johnny folded his wings, clasped his hands together, and leaned forward a bit towards Luciano, he looked into his eyes and he said "Listen. . Frankly, I don't like watching you suffer- None of us do. . We look in on you and every time we see you- Or anyone else- this way it tears us up inside. It hurts us- It hurts me. . . Yes, we know you lost someone you loved. We know how it feels. . But you need to realize that it's not the end of the world. There's plenty more where she came from. . Trust me. . Believe me when I tell you that you'll find someone else- You humanoids always do. Fall off the horse today, or something like that, and you'll just get back on it again tomorrow. . You know?" Luciano shook his head, turned away from Johnny, ". . . Whatever." He opened the door and walked back into his bedroom, and after shutting the door behind him Luciano went straight for the whiskey.

(Let's speed this up a teeny bit~)
"A burger is nice...But a sirloin steak is better! Let's go to a restaurant since it's my treat, and I feel like splurging a smidge," Nari told Koji.
They rode around for about twenty minutes until Nari suddenly announced that they finally arrived. The restaurant Nari chose was located in the middle of a populous outlet mall. It looked like any other restaurant, except for the neon sign that said "Orangebee's*". Five minutes after they entered the busy restaurant, they were immediately seated at a table for four near the left back corner as a personal request. "Now we can order whatever we'd like. This place has a little bit of everything!" Nari said as she grabbed the nearest menu.

"Huh.. guess we're just in time for the dinner rush." Koji said as he dodged past a rushing waiter before sitting down. "Thanks again, Nari." He said, as he pulled up his menu. It wasn't very often he ate out, other than having fast food from time to time on the way to his shop. Having the HQ stocked with food all the time was sort of a saving grace seeing as he didn't generally make enough from his art to do much more than keep his shop open. Immediately, he was overwhelmed by the choices, and his current state of hunger wasn't making the decision making process any easier.
"Hm.. do I want steak? Or shrimp?... Oh wait! Here's one that has both!"

"Great minds think alike. I was just eyeing that. But getting both steak and shrimp means I won't have room for dessert...Oh, well!" she said and shrugged her shoulders. A young light elf with shaggy black hair and green eyes wearing an orange polo and black pants walked over to introduce himself. "Good evening. My name's Tony, and I'll be your waiter. What can I get you to drink?" He pulled out a small tablet and pen from his back pant pocket and waited for the gang's orders.

"Umm.." Koji said, stalling as he checked the drink list. It took a little while to separrate the alcoholic drinks from the non-alcoholic ones, but he found their fountain drink selections. "I'll have a cherry cola, thank you."

The young waiter took everyone's drink orders, disappeared for five minutes, and returned with their drinks. Tony didn't waste any time writing down food orders. After taking up the menus, he hurriedly went to the kitchen and disappeared out of sight.
"So tell me about your little shop, Koji. What's it like being an artist? Is it fun? Do you ever forget where you are, get carried away with your wok, and accidentally turn a portrait into a steamy scene?" Nari asked mischievously as she leaned forward.
