"Hm..."

She smirked.

"You know, I saved Anthony's life," she stated simply, following the SUV's while making sure to be a few cars behind. It was New York, so the SAAB had no problem blending in with all of the Mercedes, Lamborghinis, and Ferraris. This place was a car-owner Heaven.

Rose narrowed her eyes, "Give me a better answer...why?"

Tony looked at Sami. "Ah, I get it" he said, "hey! Keep your eyes on the road".



"You'll have to take that up with the FBI" the man said.

"Oh hush," Sami replied. "We're at a stoplight. The SUV's turned right."

And when the light was green, so did she. It was easy to see the monstrous black SUVs in the sea of expensive cars and city buses.

"Of course, he won't be able to plant it himself," she stated simply. "What I'm thinking is to get someone in there undercover. As another police officer. I can do that. No one knows I'm part of the Mafia yet, and Anthony's heart has been softened by his girlfriend. I can easily fool him into believing that 'I want to make my life better by helping others'!" He voice got high-pitched as she said the last line, and she laughed, reverting back to her normal voice. "Ha! Idiots are such saps. He'll buy it. Especially if I told him that I would be willing to protect him and his girlfriend - be one of the people guarding his house. All we need to do is make something happen that will gain me 'undeniable trust' with the police chief." Looking over at Tony, she smirked maliciously, raising an eyebrow. "I'm sure we can put something together."

Bubba woke up from about six hours' worth of sleeping. Now, he was doing great and wouldn't need more sleep for another day or two. Though, after that, he might need to crash for a little while longer... the body can only be strained for so long before it needs serious down-time, regardless of nano machines.

Bubba had been placed in a nondescript bed, in a nondescript room. His eye was plugged into an electric outlet on the wall, and was presumably updating itself with wireless features. After all, the messages from Kanu got into there somehow.

There was also, on a nearby desk, an array of new and refreshed equipment. Bubba examined these items and concluded that he wanted a grenade launcher. But... that might be better to wait on acquiring until after he found Cheiko. Wouldn't want any 'accidents.'

Bubba moved onto the closet, full of generic clothing, next. Although, knowing Kanu, they were probably enhanced with some type of bullet-resistant, flame-retardant, water-proof, acid-resistant material. Or any combination thereof. After Bubba had dressed, installing a bulletproof best underneath the clothing, along with a pair of sunglasses and a helmet, although Bubba had chosen to discard the helmet as encumbering and unnecessary.

Once all this was done, Bubba left the room in search of a bathroom. He would also need to eat before he set out on his next mission... one that did not require killing people, unfortunately.

((Hey I have to control someone who isn't the wiser when one chick is trying to kill the boss......which is as bad as not being able to post...
Oh and if Rose 'is' framed for killing Arther, wanna know what she'll do?))

Sami hummed in thought.

"Now what could we do that will get me close to the chief...?" She murmured to herself. "Saving his life would surely be one, but it would be odd if I was there TWICE to save two different people. Maybe I can give them false information about a Mafia attack, pay thugs to do it, and then kill the thugs off before they're captured. Hm... so many choices..."
