Raziel smiled back. Theybhad adjusted rather well together since their first meeting, and there were very few times you'd see one without the other. Unless of course, Razielw as requested to run some sort of errand, or if him and Fianna were together. Seriously, not even shoulder angels should whitness such special things, They were only special after all, because they were alone.
His eyes grew bright when they walked in and he saw Piper in a dress, and as she was spun towards them by Malik, he waved joyfully. "Piper!" She was his savior, after all. He jumped to her shoulder and hugged her neck.

Kieran didn't miss a beat, catching her by the hand and twirling her once more before chuckling and bringing her hand up, kissing the back of it. "Well well, formal I see, and you still remember your steps. Nice to see you again Pip."
Yes, flustered indeed. He was early...leave it to Kieran to be overly punctual. Not to mention she had been caught being pretty and fancy. In face, she blushed laughing in that 'oh I've been caught' way. "Well...I wouldn't want to appaul you or mother." And then she hugged him, and then laughed lightly as Raziel more or less jumped her with a hug. He got a pet to his wings with a chuckle. "Indeed, good to see you both again." And self conciously she reached up and fixed her circlet then smoothe a few wrinkles in her dress that weren't there. And a look back to Malik. "You're bad."
Kieran gave her a once over before he looked to Malik, doing the same and raising an eyebow. "Did I miss something important, I think I do feel underdressed."

Onyx had let go and looked flustered when Zahara and barged in, like a kid caught raiding the cookiejar...before raising a brow at her sudden enterance and departure...a sniff to the air...really now. then back to Whirlwind.
"It's my pleasure, to be here when and however you need me."
Of course he wanted to say 'place', but that might have been crossing into that freak her out zone. So he pulled out a chair for her, and swept it off with his tail.
"Shall we sit and read and talk and do all those studious things that people do when thier being studious?"
"Her fault. I suffered a bit of an injury thanks to Ramoth, so I decided to take it easy today. she for some reason or another picked today to get fancy, and insisted that I follow suit. so we're both fancy today, and as you might have noticed did some redecorating as well."
A small grin and walking over, offering his hand.
"It's good to see you again, Kieran. though we've had some bad news of late. the Oracle is missing again. and Dimitri apparently survived the destruction of a physical body. And to top it all off...the only beings that might know where he is, are Laudi and Raziel's 'sister'. Laudi is braindead, and the fairy isn't talking to anyone at all. we were hoping you and Raziel might help..as well as just visiting."
A shake of his head lightly.
"Forgive the buisness end. I'm supposed to not be doing buisness today. Oh..and by the way...there's an interesting story I woudl like to hear. somethign about Piper getting a wild ferret in her clothes?"

Aella blinked at the drow woman...whom she didn't think she had met...but then maybe she had breifly. Either way, she didn't 'know' who it was, and that kind of disturbed her. But, she left quickly and left them alone again.
She smield a bit at Onyx, although she felt a bit waited on.
And she sat in the offered chair with a soft chuckled. "I suppose we should, if we want to stay studiou." She opened the book to a page she didn't remeber reading and starting in.
"You know yesterday I told you aobut the savage, Catawa?"
Raziel snuggled right up to Piper, his little head just below her ear. He had an affectionate nature, when Malik wasn't shooting things at him. "Piper! You're pretty as always, more so after a month apart. I've been all over your homeland now! Kieran likes to tell stories about you."
He blinked though, and took a step behind Piper's neck. He didn't want to see Toharu again. But the Oracle? He hadn't even had a chance to visit her yet! He remeber telling Kieran that they should visit her just to say hi, as she was peobably sick of no one ever going over just to see her...and now she was kidneapped?!

Oh her knew why she was being fancy...or maybe not. Who knew. It was guilt that drove her to taking her mind off of it by doing something that wasn't normal for her. Though she was starting to like this fancy aspect and Malik himself had always been fancy on day to day fashion, he was just more so today. "Oh you enjoy it and you know it. He likeds to see my all fancy, secretly of course."
"Well you both full it off quite well." Kieran smiled and nodded lightly to Malik, taking his hand in greeting. "Hm, can't leave you two alone before you're getting into trouble again can I?" Though a little frown as it was quite disturbing news to hear. "Ah so that is why you asked us to come. You think maybe we can help. Good thought, seeing as Raziel and her are practically two of a kind. Of course a smile at the creature who was hugging on his daughter.
"Business is sometimes not easy to avoid, despite how one may wish it. I'm sure I can make time for both buiness and pleasure." Though he got that amused Kieran look before turning his own triple colored eyes to Piper. "You mentioned the ferret story." He got a laugh out of that and looked back to Malik, still chuckling. "That, Malik, is quite the story indeed, which I would be happy to tell you."
"Father!" Though she couldn't help the laugh that followed then she cleared her throat to get her coposure back before her attention turned to Raziel as she was nuzzled upon. "Well thank you dear little angel. I do think the elvish silver tongue is rubbing off on you. Though is he now?" Did Kieran tell everyone who knew Piper the wonderous stories that involved her little misadventures? "Have you heard the ferret story then as well?" A blink as he moved about and she hoped that he was mindful of her collar, after all with its design, he could get caught up in it. "Hiding my little friend?" And she reached a hand back fishing him out and holding him in her flatly in her palm.
"You're just such a wealth of stories." Though he blinked as he noticed her arm banadged, but forwent asking and turned to another matter. "And how is Sevilin working out...hope I didn't invite too much of a problem to your door."

"Yes...you mentioned he was able to commune with spirits and such. kind of like my father. though he only cummunes with the Ancestors and animal spirits."
A lean over to look at the book, and a glance at whirlwind with a little smile.
"I like the name though. Catawa. good sound to it."
"Well..Sevilin has his assinine moments, to be sure. but so far things are alright. and if other plans go to work and go like they are supposed to..I'll have him under control with more than just money."
A look at Raziel.
"Trust me, you'll want to help after you see what's become of your 'sister'. it's not pretty. But for now, do help yourselves to food and drink and some relaxation. we may have other guests arriving soon..seeing as they are homeless at present."

"I wouldn't mind hearing it again." He blushed while sitting in her palm, and looked down for a moment. "Hiding? No, not me, not at all....yes. Yes I'm hiding. That woman gets into what little personal space I have." But he did look concerned after what Malik had to say about her. He rubbed a shoulder, "I'm not hungry right now, thanks."
Reading along in the book, picking up things and adding to what she remebered. "Well, she could only tlak with one spirit. Catawa was hated for leaving her village and befreinding outsiders, shortly after which she started having strange nightmares. She started to talk with this voice, and soon people would see her talking to herself during the day. This spriti she was talking with apparently was a dragon who lived on the surfcem before it was destroyed."

"A dragon..well...if your limited to only one spirit to talk to, a dragon is a good one I'd think. though I'm sure it wasn't easy being ostracized or other getting the idea she was mental unbalanced. So what was the dragon's name, does it say?"
A little lean over, bracing himself with one hand on the back of her chair.

"Really now? Well as long as things are going well." Speaking of Sevilin, Kieran seemed to look around a moment as if scouting his surroundings and he was. After all, Sevilin was hunting him and the last thing he wanted was to get jumped. But he wasn't really worried about that now. "So seems you two are neck deep...."
A tilt of his head. "Other guests as well?"
She patted at his wings again. "I know personal space invasion isn't fun all the time...she just has to learn some boundries. And you yourself are awful free with your own space invasion as well." A little chuckle at him before cupping him in both hands easily. "Well, take your time, we're just looking for any means. She's not well off." Though a roll over her eyes. "He's infuriating, that's what he is."

"Roarke, the headmaster of the local mage academy, and whomever he decides needs. After the Oracles disappearance, her guardian dragon lost his damn mind. destroyed the fortress she was residing in, and Roarke's academy. they have him bound at present..but I don't leave allies defenseless. so I offered them residence here until they find someplace else or until the academy is rebuilt."

"I'm sure she thought she was going crazy as well. And yeah, it does say the name. 'Morgan the White.' It says her very bones rose from the dead to do battle with Dimitri and his forces. Catawa wroite a footnote here how that was odd, since Morgan would need the help of hte sky father to do that, but was commiting acts against the sky father by attacking his follower."
He blushed deeply. "I'm easier to get rid of." He coughed into a fist. "Is she really that bad? what happened to her?"

"Dominos. Push one down and they all fall...and the only way to stop them is to run down the line and pull out one of the links that is is the chain reaction." He shook his head at it. It really wasn't the best thing at all. things really weren't so well off as he had hoped they were. A sigh. "I'm guessing things could be worse."
Piper sighed as well. It really was a bad situation. Waiting for Roarke and for everything else was agaonizing really. Not to mentioning it was ruining the moods of late but that couldn't really be avoided. But a pet at Raziel all the same.

"However, I will say you will probably enjoy Roarke's visit, being a mage and all I'm sure he an answer many, many questions or give interesting facts to you. and this talk is just depressing everyone. So why don't we get some wine, let them reset the furniture, and we can all relax and have a good laugh at Piper's expense with the ferret story."
A grin at Piper and a pet to Raziel.
"You don't want to know the answer to that, Raziel. at least not right now. we can't spend all our time in depressing subjects."
Onyx glanced at her a moment.
"That coudl mean that Dimitri was on the sky father's bad side...or that perhaps the Earth mother has this power in reserve? Or...coudl it have been, simply that faith, and loyatly cause the power to manifest itself in the dragon. My father said sometimes spirits can do things they shouldn't through sheer will, and devotion. much like an entire family line able to choose when to cross over."

Aella put a hand on the page she was at, turned her head towards Onyx but let her eyes drift in another direction in thought. "The Sky Father looks after the dead, right? If Dimitri was using necromancy to boost his ranks, it would mean he was stealing souls. Maybe that's why the Lich was trying so hard to make bodies without souls, so that the Sky Father wouldn't have reason to wake this dragon."
She smiled excitedly. "I tihnk this is a good start."
Wow, everyone was giving him pets today, not a bad deal, even if it was comming form Malik. Okay, he'd forgive him the blast of necromatic energy a while back. Still though, Malik's silence over Toharu's ordeal made him worry. Like the woman he did not, want her hurt he also did not.
"Well, where is she then?"

Proof Malik was in a good mood, Raziel was getting pets. Usually the only thing that Malik pet was Piper. Though she couldn't really answer the farie's question and the look given to Malik said 'it better not be a bad answer either'. Though a little sheepish grin from her. "Are we honestly going to tell the ferret story?"
A nod from him. "I do believe you're right Malik. Despressing topics lead to sour moods and lacking spirits. The last thing we need is low moral." And a look to his daughter that said he was oh so amused. "Of course I am...nothing like a story of good life lesson."
