The characters are in Japan. XD Assume they're all speaking Japanese... but there's no need to go out of your way to add honorifics or anything.

Feel free to use them if you like though. 8D It does add a bit more insight into their character to others.
Or, you can do it in english.
Though, we usually do English "like this"
So as to show that it's a different language. If your character is American, try speaking it around. Who knows? Some of the characters might yet understand you.

Arena posts an update when relevant things have finished up. XD For the most part, just advance forward and don't worry about things. Pretend any discussions you were having were finished up in a reasonable way and keep going.
