it's the greedy exchangers that made me turn to the marketplace altogether. i remember offering for a katana with the current going-for price + a few extra thousand k. the seller still wanted me to add more. i ended up buying a much cheaper katana in the marketplace.

oh yeah, and there was this exchanger who wanted to buy my kiki kitty for 150k less than the price it was currently going for. and she made it sound like she was doing me a favor @_x.

i think a lot of the exchangers are just trying to pull a fast one over everybody else. it's one of the few things i hate about gaia.

We've got crazy squirels as well.

I mostly shop in the Marketplace as well. I just don't have time to d**k around in the Exchange. Must pixel more items that I can't waste time shopping around for! *laugh*

Congrats Kari. XD Man...I can't much past 300k in Pinball. x_x Sometimes I tank out with just a few thousand because the balls are magically drawn to the side pits and I can never manage to get in the shop for floaties or insurance.

The Pinball game is so cute~ There's so much to watch that it seems like it would be hard to get bored with it after a while like you might do with Fishing or Cards.

And say, are you supposed to be able to knock down that last wandering avatar somehow? The two that wander around in the middle of the screen get knocked down fairly fast, but the last one is hiding behind a paddle and a fence. ^^; Is there some super-player shot where you flip up the paddle and sneak the ball through?

hmm.. i dont recall ^^;
though there is a cool part where after you knock down Gambino's mansion a few times, the Von-heslon mansion appears in the middle of the screen, they block the opening at the front so that you cant loose your ball and you try and get the ball into the mansion. Then you need to try and hit all the "VON HELSON" letters and light them up (i wasnt able too).

*edit: when you go into the von helson mansion, its a new screen. when you fall out of that one, it goes back to the regular pinball machine

The GCD scares me at the moment. Everyone is jumping up and down and picking sides. I cant help but feel bad for the Staff seeing as how they are receiving the crap end off all the the users frustrations.

I'm loving pinball. So far I've gotten the shirt, but nothing beyond that. I've found a couple tips that might be very usefull... If you get in to Von Helsons just a sticky paddle power-up thing. And it makes it harder to lose the ball. 3nodding

See, what sucks about that, is that for 03' items the vendors charge almost 10x as much to avoid getting ganked on the 2% tax @_x; So I'm really out of luck on that, especially since I have big items instead of pure gold to offer on it :'3 And if I sell the items (i.e. OMG, Horns of the Demon, and Ang. Pendant) no one will want to pay "full" price for them and I'll get ripped there. Not to mention, as soon as I do that, the items I have will surely inflate and then I'll be out a few 100k more on the low price I would have had to accept just to get the pure for them :'3

It's a lose/lose situation these days T0T;;
