"Quite the contrary. I know the lifestyle of a princess. breeding and culture and what not. As for me..dancing was a way to improve swordplay. something I learned during one of teh wars..watching a bard fight. they dance to thier own music..and it's quite a deadly and impressive sight."
He kept thier dancing light and smooth, and let the instruments play, twirling her around and dipping her a few times as well.
"Perhaps something a little more, robust. it's a human dance, but I think the elvish tone will work nicely for the music."
A nod to the musicians, and they started a almost eerie sounding version of the tango.

"More of a begrudging student than a princess." Another little melodic laugh from her, smile ever present. "Dipping into human culture A'mael? Wish to suprise me further then?" Malik and his slight aversion to things human...though after being with her for so long he was at least a little more tolerable. Though he sparked that gold in her eyes at his own little bout of inventiveness. Of course Piper elegantly as any elf may easily fell into steps with his own. It was a nice little challenge really. Probably an elegant sight the two of them, an easy flow of smooth fabrics and fluid motions that never seemed to faulter. "I think I may have found a new pastime."

"Human culture has it's moments, 'Chev."
He spun her around, and cuckled lightly, pulling her back in close to him as the glided aroudn the dancefloor, even teh rustle of cloth seemed to enhance the ghostly elvish form of the traditional human music.
"A new pastime? Ah so you are enjoying playing the lady and having some dancing to accompany it? Boy I bet your father would be surely enjoying this sight if he could see it."

"Oh it does? Then perhaps my thinking on they're saying that a man is as good in bed as he is at dancing isn't so wrong." A little nod, perhaps as formal as any simplistic answer could get. "Yes I am quite enjoying playing house. Looking and acting pretty isn't so bad I suppose." Though she distinctly remembered a certain loathing for it when she was younger. Yes still young, at least compared to Malik, but more grown up than she was then in several meanings of the word. But another melodic laugh. "I think father will be quite pleased with you, breaking me into the role of a lady. You're forever doing things to be on his good side, aren't you?" Pushing up on her toes for that moment of closeness, pressing a kiss to his lips gently. "I think I can learn to love this just as well, A'mael."

Zahara shot straight up at the sound of that door slamming. Blinking a few times she ran a hand through her disheveled hair and settled her cheek back on the pillow. She was half wrapped up in the blanket, one leg visible and her back curved as though she had just fitted herself to another body. Sighing softly, sweetly, she rolled over and lay there, still feeling lethargic. She'd loved to laze around all day and not move...but then she 'woke up' and realized just what that slamming door signified. Sevilin had slammed her bedroom door. She was up in a flash, grabbing the sheets to cover herself and out her bedroom door to the hallway seeing a flash of him turn the corner at the bottom of the stairs and five minutes later another slam reverberated through the house. He was gone. She sighed again, this time not so sweetly and stood up, ignoring any slaves who had witnessed it and walked back into her room, closing her door gently and falling back against it. She felt...wonderful. It had been a hell of an experience for her and she was still happy that her instincts had finally been appeased. Her skin could touch itself now, she didn't have that annoying ache any longer and she quite felt like bursting out with a joyful whoop. The only downside, obviously Sevilin wasn't happy. But hell it wasn't like she'd forced him, in fact she'd been shocked and stunned when he had actually began to respond positively to what she'd started. But for now, other things had to be taken care of. She'd taken a potion the night before, just in case, as she usually did when her instincts went to raging but it couldn't hurt just to be sure. So she rooted through her bag until she found the vial with the blood red liquid in it and tipped half of it down her throat, grimacing at the awful taste. There, that was taken care of and now, to dress and greet the rest of the day. Her normal clothes were pulled on and she more or less glided her way down the stairs to the kitchen. Activities behind closed doors often worked up quite an appetite, so breakfast...well...lunch? Dinner? Didn't matter, she went about making herself quite an elaborate meal and daresay humming to herself while she did so.

She decided to take comfort in Onyx's touch this time, instead of shying away from him. "It feels like it's been too long now...I'm just afraid that we're too late."
She sighed and looked down at her hands, before meeting Onyx's eyes. "Thank you. A thousand times, thank you."

"I can't help that me and your father both enjoy similar things when it comes to you"
though he watched Zahara come down stairs with a grin, dipping Piper at the just the right tie to see her looking all starry eyed and pleased...and making her own meal.
"and there's the other side of the coin. I think she's learned a bit about you and I, don't you think?"

She had tilted her head some as she had gotten a rather upside down view of a rather happy looking Zahara. "That has yet to be determined now hasn't it? Having that 'I had a wonderful time' look, yes. Passion is in another ball game." Though did she secretly wish that Malik was right? Of course...that was the point of her deception to Zahara. But her eyes turned back to Malik. "We'll see now won't we?"

He spun her around again in a twirl, stepping around her to catch her from the other side, and grinned lightly.
"the woman is humming. when was the last time you even heard of a drow woman humming?"
though he also hoped that the necromantic precautions where working. be nice to have them create, or more precisely, rebirth, a fine drow warrior. another interesting aspect of playing with the dead. insterting an old soul into a child's body...provided the four or so pregancy chance increasing drugs that had been soaked into her clothes the day he made her where the slaves outfit did thier job.
then again...drow women did have countermeasures. he'd just have to hope his potions outdid her potions.

WHen you could dance and seriously conversate at the same time, now that was when you knew you were elvish. Complete focus on more than one task, no trouble coming to either one of them. "I don't think I ever had...unless it was in joy over the slaughter." A little laugh, it was a fine moment indeed now wasn't it. "Though we'll see there is to gain from you seed sowing Malik D'vinn. To think, trying to get other women pregnant before me. You're too much, really."
Kieran pushed back the hood of his cloak, careful of little cloaked Raziel on his shoulder. A hand rubbed at his eyes a moment as they adujusted to the semi darkness of Malik's lowers supply rooms. Reaching a hand up he pulled Raziel from his shoulder and held the little guy in his palm. "Well, we're early but that's not too horrible a thing. You alright my friend?" Planes crossing could of course make you feel funny and Raziel was quite little.

Raziel held on to one finger as Kierian moved him aobut. "I'm a little nautious, but I'll be alright." She smiled and pulled his cloak a little more tightly around him, it was chillier here and Raziel still didn't wear a shirt.
"It certainly is interesting to be back here. I wonder if anything has changed?" His woozyness was quickly forgotten over the excitment of being here...although he still wasn't certain as to why they were here at all.

A chuckle at that, and shakign his head lightly.
"Now, I would think you would notice the effort I have been putting into trying to get your pregnant. I just don't drug you."
another chuckle and again a change in music, to somethign purely elven, and back to a fast paced though elegant dance.
"As for that again anyway. I'd say Zahara's mind is quite preoccupied..seeing as she didn't stop to stare at you in a dress dancing with me."

She'd seen them, dismissed them and went about her cooking. Bacon, eggs, and toast were plopped on a plate, as well as a glass of orange juice poured and she pulled out another vial and tipped that down her throat as well before chasing it with half a glass of orange juice. Her plate was brought to the table along with a fork and a knife and she set it all down then sat down herself and enjoyed her meal. She usually couldn't eat all of what she made and the only reason today was an exception was because Sevilin had given her quite an appetite...before he'd stormed out obviously very upset. Well, she wasn't going to apologize, he'd been willing dammit! And not the willing that drow usually claimed their males were. He'd actually kissed her back, pressed himself to her and encouraged her...or had she been mistaken? She didn't want to think about that right now though because it would only bring back the ache that had been there before and right now she was enjoying the sated side of life. So her breakfast was finished, still ignoring the two in the living room and then she headed to the library, walking in and glancing briefly at the Vah and Aella. She waved her hand at them, "Don't mind me, I"m only going to be here for a few moments.' Then she went about scanning the shelves and pulling certain books down, until she had three or four and swept right back out of the library and into the dining room. Time to get some actual work done.

"Yes, please, no vomitting on the uplhostrey." A little laugh as he let the litttle shoulder angel back to his proper perch and started upstairs after making sure the gate behind him wasn't bringing any surprises, watching it deactivate.
"I'm sure much hasn't changed. Only been a month or so, yes?" Of course through time converstaion, who really knew. Though a chuckle at the tone in his friend's voice. "Well then shall we go see what is requested of us?" Vague letters.
"So sweet, not drugging me and trying the old fashion way of try try and try again." A little laugh of her own, loving the moment even with the conversation subjects. Music change and step change all too easily melded to another kind, neither of them faultering. "You should know that pleasure does that to you...makes one walk around in thier own little world, the rest be damned. I had a few of those in the beginning." Yes, the dazed giddy sated world of newness. Why did she apply it to Zahara? Because from talks, she believed that Zahara had no clue what she'd been missing. Indeed she was preoccupied seeing as she left and came back all in one breath, no mind to them.
Kieran held in a chuckle as he stopped at the doorway, watching the two who were in the room, dancing as gracefully as any elves may. Now now there was a sight, when was the last time he'd seen her willingly dance. Yeah he'd stand there and watch a moment as any father might.

"Yes I do recall."
And another grin, catching a glimpse of Kieran out of the corner of his eye, but not mentioning it to Piper, just incase she didn't see him.
"and the old fashioned way is the best way."
then just for a good chuckle, and sweeping few steps and a twirl, and letting her go right off into Kieran. It was always fun to see Piper a bit flustered.
